Tamie - Glad to hear that Tyler's ears are starting to get better.

Lisawynn - My girls were ok with their cribs, but my sister put my niece in a toddler bed when she was a year old. She did fine with it. She did have to put a baby gate in front of my niece's door so she wouldn't escape! :earseek: Good luck to you. I hope that you get some rest and Jimmy sleeps better. BTW, that is a great picture of Jimmy!

Here is a picture from Christmas!

John Paul and Mickey!

llij - great photos! Your dining room is beautiful. I can't believe how tiny John Paul looks next to that Mickey!

lissawynn - Jimmy is adorable! I don't think I've seen a pic of him recently without a winter hat on. His hair has a cute little curl in the back.

tykes - Glad to hear Tyler is feeling better.

Hillbeans - Congrats to Liam for rolling over!!

I know I missed everyone who posted before my last post, but I'm hoping to start fresh now. It's so hard to catch up when you're gone for a few days.

Love the holiday photos SL, Lissawyn and llij! Thanks for sharing.
I wish I had taken more pictures over Christmas. You guys have nice ones.

Hillbeans: Congrats Liam on rolling over! No, Jace hardly ever will play in the crib. He's all business and wants out so he can eat. It's not full cries, but he whines. But as soon as we go in and sees us, he starts smiling.
Gems: LOL at Shelby fighting her sleep so she won't miss anything. Too cute.

I was able to give Jace his Christmas present finally as I went to work today and got it. I think I may have already posted that I had a blue plaid blanket made for him (satin trim, etc) and a lovey-sized one too. He's loves plaid and totally zones when he sees it. I hope the blanket will give him joy. Tonight he was too tired to care much as he did not nap at daycare hardly at all.

My present from DH also arrived today - it got lost in shipping. He got me diamond circle pendant necklace. I love it!! Definitely the best Christmas gift, that and the Muppet Movie he bought me (we watched it already on Christmas morning). That movie one of my all time favorites. Now if they would just "release" the movie soundtrack I'd be set.

I'm glad that Christmas is over, but I will miss being able to just sit in front of my lit up tree. I dread trying to find a place for all of the new gifts in this house. I swear it feels like my house gets smaller by the day.

Have a good night!

Joats - We got the Muppet Movie for Christmas too! :rotfl: We are actually watching it right now! :goodvibes I love the music and have a Muppet CD that I got at MGM in September.....love it!

I love all the photos of the babies! SL~ I love the shot of Lucas with the twins and in matching outfits! Too Cute! Lissawynn~ Love Jimmy's curls! He's a cutie! And Jill~ JP is so adorable! I love the first photo of just his face. Too cute!

I am still sick today but Kylie doesn't seem to be. It has me wondering if I imagined it yesterday! She seemed okay today. Dh however seems to be coming down with it now too. Oh, and I took the tree down today as it is nearly 9 feet tall and takes up sooo much space. I usually wait till New Year's to take it down but I couldn't hold out this year. I was ready to feel like we have a living room again! It was making me feel claustrophobic and cluttered with Kylie's junk and the tree in there so down it went!

Anyway, here are some photos from the 4 get-togethers we went to. Sorry there are so many...that's what happens when you have a dysfunctional family such as ours with all of the stepparents, etc....you end up with lots of get-togethers and lots of photos!

This is Kylie with her Nana (my mom) on the 17th when we had Christmas at my house. She is studying the toy phone my family gave her.

KylieandNana-Christmas.jpg

This is Kylie with my stepmom (Suzie-also known as Grandma) and her aunts, my 10 year old and 8 year old half sisters, Kaylan and Loagan. And no, Suzie is not their mom. She is my dad's 3rd wife. My dad's 2nd wife is their mom! Told you I come from a dysfunctional family! This was at his get-together on the 23rd.

KylieSuzieKaylanLoagan-Christmas.jpg

Another of my stepmom and sisters playing with Kylie with one of her new toys they gave her. And yes, that is a Christmas bow they stuck on her head (if you can see it!)

KylieSuzieKaylanLoagan-Christmas2.jpg

We spent the night at my dad's that night so here is a picture of Kylie with her grandpa (my dad) right before bed.

Some of the things that Santa brought for Kylie and us. ;)

A picture of Kylie playing in her new exersaucer.

A picture of Kylie with her cousins, 11 year old Jay, and 5 year old Channing, on Christmas morning at dh's parents house. Her cousins are wearing the hats we gave them. His whole family (including the kids) are big on hunting!

KylieJayandChanning-Christmas.jpg

Kylie with her mamaw (Dh's mom) at dh's grandmother's house on Christmas afternoon. You can tell how tired Kylie is in this shot. She needed a nap but she will not sleep when there is a lot going on. She doesn't like to miss a thing!

KylieandMamaw-Christmas.jpg

Yep, I know! Lots of pictures! But be glad I only posted 8! I have nearly 100 from all of the get-together we went to and stuff! Anyway, I hope you are all feeling better today and doing well. I am going to eat dinner and then get some sleep. Have a great night everyone!

I LOVE all the Christmas photos! I have to go back and read all the posts that go with them but I wanted to post some pics before New Years gets here!

Here is a picture of me sitting on Connor's 4 X 4 on Xmas Eve - we were having some fun setting up the gifts and I was acting like a fool!

A picture of Connor in front of the tree before we put all the gifts out

Connor on his 4 X 4 Xmas morning, hauling some gift wrap to the garbage in his new Incredibles robe and slippers...

Me and Cameryn - PLEASE excuse the pajama shots!

P1010071.jpg

And finally Cameryn in her first Christmas sleeper, which I think looks like the girl version of Lucas's sleeper!

P1010074.jpg

I will catch up on posts this week - tomorrow is Connor's birthday!!! What luck, to have a birthday 3 days after Christmas. :confused3 We are not having a party this year, just immediate family over for cake after dinner. I can't believe my first baby will be 3 years old!!! :guilty:

Morning to all! We're still hanging out at my parents. This computer is so slow--it's hard to do anything. Can I rant for just a little? Well, okay, so DH, I and the kids drove down here (16hr trip) to spend this week with my parents. And it feels like they don't even want to hang out with us. I mean, I understand that my mom has to watch my niece for my sis b/c with the RSV she can't be in daycare. But yesterday, my dad went with my mom and they were gone from 11am-7pm. DH and I were like "now what are we supposed to do?". And then, my dad has planned a hiking trip with my mom on thurs. (the one day she doesn't have to babysit). Couldn't he have planned something where we could bring the kids along? I guess we visited a lot when DD was a baby, b/c DH job brought us here a lot. But this year is very different. I don't know when we'll be back down, and my parents won't come see us until the summer. I want Matthew to spend time with his grandparents, but they don't seem to want to spend the time with him. And also, my parents haven't offered to watch the kids at all for us while we're here. DH and I haven't been to a movie in over 2 years and we thought it would be nice to go see Narnia or something while we were here, b/c I assumed the grandparents would offer to sit. I guess I expect too much from them! But they'll go watch my niece at the drop of a hat. Oh well!

Hillbeans--DD still cries to get us out of her big girl bed. :( I tell her, just get out of bed and come into mom's room. But she still cries and cries until somebody comes to get her. Hope yours grows out of it!

Looks like everyone had a great xmas. I love seeing all the pics--putting faces with names and all. Wish I could post some new ones, but being at my parents I don't have the capability to upload pics to this camera. Guess I'll have to wait until we get home this weekend. Speaking of strange gifts kids love, we got DD a plastic recorder/flute thing for her stocking from Wal-mart. Cost us less than a buck. She loves it. With all the other pricey toys, the $1 was the hit. I guess that teaches us something about what we should buy next year. I do have to say though, that though my parents may be lacking in taking care of the kids for us, they got DH and I the coolest gift. For those of you with digital cameras (pretty much everybody), if you want to print lab quality pics at home get the Epson print mate (think that's the name). It prints awesome pics and you don't even need a computer. It is small and very portable. DH wants to take it to WDW with us in a few weeks.

Have a great day everyone! Will try to get on again in a few days!

I think I've caught up on all the posts. I love all the Christmas pictures. I was laughing over everyone's posts about their messy houses. Mine looks like a bomb went off and it's driving me crazy. The kids got so much stuff it's insane. I should post an after-Christmas picture of my living room but I'm too embarassed. I've been having fun torturing my DD10 with Aidan's new Wiggles videos. I don't care what she says, I think she likes them. We took the kids to Atlantic City yesterday and hung out with my in-laws. They had a room there so we swam in the pool and went out to dinner. They have a restaurant like the Coral Reef in Epcot. It has fish tanks all over and it feels like you are under water. We had a great time. It was nice being with my FIL. His health is just not good and I worry about how much time we have left with him. He had by-pass surgery 2 years ago and has never really recovered. He has diabetes as well which complicates things.

SL - Lucas is adorable! What big beautiful eyes he has.

Lissawynn - Jimmy has gotten so big. I love the curl in the back of his head. BTW, I never put one of my kids in a bed before 2. I'm sure he would be fine but it stinks when they start to walk and they get out of bed and get into trouble. Good luck finding your tree.

Zalansky - I love your Christmas pictures. The kids are adorable.

Jill - Your house is decorated beautifully. John Paul looks so tiny. What a little cutie! The girls look beautiful in their dresses too. I was laughing at your post. I also spent alot of money on AG stuff and my DD loves the MP3 player that I got at TRU because it was on sale for twenty bucks! I never would have gotten it without the sale.

nucpharm29 - I'm sorry to hear about your trip. I don't think people realize that it's tough traveling with kids and that you may not want to come back out very soon. My dad is in California and I'm in Jersey. He still hasn't seen Aidan yet and he's 8 month old. I told my dad I'm not traveling out there with the three kids but I don't think he believes me. He tells me he can't get time off to come here but I think that's a bunch of garbage.

I am loving all of the Christmas pics. I tried to post last night, buy somehow my post got sucked into the dark hole of cyberspace.

I think Jimmy has pink eye. He's been congested for a few days now, which I attributed to all of the new teeth coming in. Last night he eyes began to get gooky, and this morning they were practically closed shut with hardened gook.
I'm going to try warm compresses before I break down and call the dr. We cancelled his 2nd flu shot yesterday due to the congestion. I just hope he's not too uncomfortable.

Oh you guys----all the photos are GREAT!

Zalansky- I think yours cracked me up the most! I'm glad you were having fun on Christmas Eve. :cool1:

SL- I didn't realize how BLUE Lucas's eyes are! Wow!

lissawynn- Jimmy is, as usual, a little doll! Hope his pink eye heals ASAP.

nucpharm- I'm sorry your visit isn't going so well with your parents. :guilty:

Tasha- Wow- you DID have a BUSY Christmas holiday! Great pics!

DisKim- sounds like you had a great time in Atlantic City. And I LOVE the Wiggles too. I at times have the hots for Greg and Anthony. ;)

Jill- your pictures are great too! Your daughters are lovely in their Christmas dresses and JP is so sweet! And I love your home- very elegant and pretty!

I will post a giganto picture of my kids on Christmas Day at my parent's house...look closely & you can see their barn in the back. :)

j9pmv4.jpg

One more thing- lissawynn- the present Jimmy is trying to open- I have that wrapping paper too! A target find, no? ;)

And one more picture of Molly, just for kicks.

It's been forever since I've been on. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and any new mommies that might have joined lately. I'm only up to Dec. 18th's posts now. I'll keep reading and hopefully catch up soon. I'm hanging out at home with Lily and watching our friends son since our sitter is out of town this week. I'm terrible... its 1130 and all three of us are still in our pj's.

Hope everyone's holidays were great!

Gretchen

Heres a picture of Shelby in her new Bumbo seat, I can't resize it again so its BIIIIIGGGG! She can't quite hold her head up herself all of the time so I am supporting her just enough to get the pic!

This is her new play mat that my brother and his wife bought for her, she can hit the duck etc herself and make the lights flash and stuff, she looks amazed when she does it!
shelbychristmas007.jpg

LOL Loretta - you're having way too much fun on Connor's 4x4.

Love the pics of you in your PJ's, and Connor's in his slippers. The pic of Cameryn in her "My First Christmas" onesie is a keeper!!

Also, just have to say that's such an adorable pic of Molly - Alice28

Kylie in her Exercauser is just too cute Tasha!

Lisawynn- jimmy is so cute opening gifts!!!! He's got such beautiful eyes!

Jill - Just love the pics of your house and the kids. Where do you find the time to clean and decorate like that??? Just beautiful!

Gretchen - Nice to see you again! Love your holiday pics too!

Gems - LOVE the pic of Shelby in her Bumbo! Liam got a Bumbo seat from Santa so i'll have to take a pic of him in his to join all the other babies in theirs! I think our little Mom's group is singlehandedly keeping the Bumbo factory in business!

great pictures! Everyone is so cute!!

Zalansky - you look great! I'm not used to seeing people outside in just jammies in Christmas pictures. We have to put on our boots and winter coats! lol! Happy Birthday to Connor!

Tasha - Kylie's pictures are great. I can't believe how much hair she has!

lisawynn - I love Jimmy's curl!! Too cute! I hope Jimmy feels better.

Jill - those are great pictures. Your house looks beautiful!

nucpharm - I'm sorry to hear about your time at your parent's house. That's too bad. :(

Alice - great pictures as well!

Here are a couple of my Christmas pictures since we are all sharing :)

Tyler with his new piano thing - I can't believe how long he will stand at that thing and play!

And Tyler playing with a toy in his Christmas jammies.

Tyler is feeling so much better! He slept all night last night and just woke up from a nap. It's so great to have a happy boy again!

Any big new years plans?

Tamie

Just that! I just read the news. Congratulations to you and your husband. I'm starting to get worried. My visitor is a couple days late. However, since Lily, I haven't been as regular as I used to be.

llij -- Wow! You look fantastic! The family picture from the baptism is wonderful! Congratulations!

Anyway, I'm still reading the posts... will be for a while. I had to take a break from it to fix one of Lily's toys that our friends son just jammed up with another toy. That's what I get for trying to Dis...

joats - Sounds like that necklace was worth the wait.

Tasha - Love those pics of Kylie. Her "tired" picture is too much! It looks like she's dying for a cup of coffee.

zalansky - Looks like you had fun! Cameryn looks adorable in that sleeper picture.

nucpharm - Sorry your trip isn't going as well as you planned.

DisKim - Glad you had a good time in AC.

lissawynn - Hope Jimmy's pinkeye clears soon.

Alice28 - Great pics! Molly just keeps getting cuter and cuter.

gwcollins - Hope you're enjoying your lazy day! DH, Lucas, and I didn't get dressed until about 2 or 3pm on Monday. :)

T16GEM - Shelby is darling. I love the Bumbo picture.

Hillbeans - I can't wait to see Liam in his Bumbo. I wish I had heard of them sooner than I did. I definitely would have gotten one.

tkyes - Great pics! I LOVE Tyler's plaid jammie pants.

I'm working today, but DH is off. He dropped Lucas off with my mom but she was already at my sister's house and didn't bring his formula with her. I don't pack any since she keeps a big can of it at her house. They've been IM'ing DH all morning asking him about it, but he's been in and out. I can't figure out why they don't just run over to my mom's to get the extra can. I love my family, but they don't always use common sense. I know she's going to tell me she didn't know Lucas was coming, but I told her on Christmas. As long as the poor baby gets his bottle, I think this situation is hilarious!

My computer is being so slow! My friend, Jen, just left. We added some stuff to her registry and had some pizza for lunch. Jimmy is sacked out in his pack n' play. His eyes are still kind of gookie, but nothing like they were this morning.
I am trying to motivate myself to do laundry, but I could care less. Jimmy and I have clean socks and undies, so what's the hurry? ;)

Alice28 - Yes, the paper is from Target. I buy mine at 1/2 off after Christmas. I think I bought 3 rolls on Monday. Btw, your kids are adorable. Molly is lucky to have 2 big brothers.

SL - I hope Lucas gets a bottle soon!

Gretchen - I hope your "friend" gets here soon.

tykes - It's good to hear Tyler is feeling better. He's so cute in his sunglasses. I could never get a pair to stay on Jimmy. He'd be jabbing his eyes out!

Gems - Shelby is a doll! I wish I'd have known about those Bumbo seats when Jimmy was little. She looks as if she's enjoying her playmat.

DisKim - Glad you had a good time in AC. I used to go there with my Nonnie all the time. She got comps at Trump Plaza, so I'd shop and go to the beach and she'd play the slots. I'd check on her every now and then and cash in her coins. She couldn't carry them to the cashier. On the last trip we took, she hit 5 progressive jackpots over $500 each. She had the luck.

zalansky - Loving the pics of you and your kids. My nephew also got a "quad" for Christmas. His looks like a real one, but it's got one of those huge batteries instead of gas. I just meet the weight requirement, so I guess I can ride it, too.

nupcharm - I hope the rest of your visit with your family is fun. I hope you and DH get to do some stuff with your parents.

Tasha+Scott - Great pics! Your mom and stepmom look really young! It looks like Kylie enjoyed herself.

Yay Liam for rolling over!

I think I'm just about caught up! Hope you're all having a good day. Jimmy has just woken up, so it's time for me to get the warm washcloth out and go on eye and nose patrol.

Hey all :wave2: ,
Lisawynn,
Just wanted to say that my son sometimes gets those gunky eyes and it's from allergies. It's really yucky but not itchy like pink eye. Jimmy is such a little cutie! Katie got the Laugh and Learn table too :) . Thanks for posting the pics!

SL,
Lucas always looks so happy :) . The picture of the three boys is so cute!

Jill,
Your home and family are gorgeous :) . You should take a photo of JP with his big Mickey every year to see how much he's grown ;) .

Tasha,
I just love that little cat dress Kylie is wearing in some of your pics. Too cute!

zalansky,
What fun pictures! Your kids are too cute :) . Happy Birthday to Connor :bday: !

Robin,
What a sweet Christmas picture! Molly always has the cutest outfits :) .

Hillbeans,
Congrats on Liam rolling over :) ! He must be in a hurry to play with his big brother.

Nucpharm,
I'm sorry your visit isn't turning out the way you wanted. I hope you can get to that movie :) .

Gretchen,
It's nice to see you  . I hope your "friend" shows up soon.

Tamie,
Tyler's smile is sooo cute! I just love the sunglasses pic and the one of him at the piano.

T16GEM,
Shelby looks like a little doll in her bumbo seat. What a precious baby she is :) .

I think I got everyone. If I didn't I'm sorry. It wasn't intentional :) .

I guess now it's my turn to be sick :guilty: . I picked up the kid's germs and for the past two days I've been miserable. At least the kids are doing better except Katie wants to sleep in my bed every night now it seems  .

Here are some of my Christmas pics. I don't have too many of Katrina since she was so sick and miserable through most of it.

This is a picture a few days before Christmas when we got together with some friends and their two boys. This is the big brothers holding "their babies". I think it's hilarious :) .
100_0777.jpg

Here is DS on Christmas eve leaving his snack for Santa. He just had to leave him a slice of bread along with the cookies and milk and carrots for the reindeer. And yes, I am a wierdo and I had already set the table for Christmas dinner the night before  . I just like to get as much done as I can the day before.
100_0784.jpg

Here are my two opening presents on Christmas day.
100_0792.jpg

This is Katie on Monday getting ready to visit with my relatives from Florida.
100_0800.jpg

Hope everybody has a great night!

I at times have the hots for Greg and Anthony.

LOL :rotfl: . Alice28 - I hope your DH gets home soon because you really seem to have the hots for everyone lately. I never looked at the Wiggles that way before :rotfl2: . They're not my type though. I like blondes. They need a blonde Wiggle!

I love all these pictures. I have to post some soon. I still don't know how. I make DH do it. We just got back from a lunch date with friends and a trip to the mall. I got some great bargains. I just love after-Christmas sales  . I think my favorite is the Bath and Body Works sales.
