Hi it's me - Last Minute Lucy! Just wanted to let you know my exchange gift just went out at the PO.

:wave2: Hi,
SL and Bridget,
Great new pics! Thanks for sharing them :) .

Diskim,
:grouphug: Sorry you are having such a rough time with the kids fighting. I tell you I'm not looking forward to that stage with my two.

DisneyPhd,
:grouphug: What a day! I hope Lily is feeling better today with both the ear infection and the bump. I think they are all destined to get one good bump like that when they are little.

Robin,
Have fun shopping :) .

Zalansky,
Have a wonderful trip ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo !

Justthat,
Welcome back  !

DisneyPhD- glad Lily is ok. We have definitely had our share of goose eggs in this house too. They are so ugly and scary looking!

Hope everyone else has a great morning! Have fun Loretta! Let us know how your trip went when you come back. And I'm glad you feel at peace with your decision about work- it's such a struggle to figure out what to do, isn't it? When DH comes home, I will finally have my first time of being a real, normal, SAHM. The first year I did it, I babysat my best friend's baby, and that didn't work out so well. Ate up a lot of my time & he wasn't the world's easiet child (I watched him from when he was 1 til he turned 2). Then DH got deployed, so I stopped watching him (couldn't deal with it anymore) and have been single mom all this time. When DH comes home, it will be so great- still mom by myself during the day, but no watching another kid on the weekends, and having DH come home every evening and weekend! I can't wait! :wizard:

Bellacam - Love, love, love those pics. How adorable are they the first few times they eat from a spoon? After a while, the mess gets old. LOL

Zalansky - :grouphug: to you. I hope you can make it through work until the end of the year.

Justhat - Welcome back and congrats to your little talker!

Alice28 - Glad you were able to get out. I hate being trapped in the house. Hope your knee is better.

Oh, DisKim...we had Lucas's pictures done at Target. There was a coupon online for a $9.99 package and no sitting fee. Of course, we spent a fortune ordering extra pics and our Christmas cards.

We got our package yesterday! Thanks Kim! Jimmy really likes his blocks. He seems to like anything that makes noise. I loved the outfit and Santa hat. I'm going to be taking a pic of him for our Christmas cards and I'll be putting his new hat on him!

DisPhD - :grouphug: I hope things at your place have calmed down since yesterday. Thank goodness you found the lollipop rope! Yikes!

Robin - I love the Gap F&F. The mom of one of my former students works there and she always gives me the card. DH is in need of jeans for his new job, so I'm sure we'll be picking some up for him. I saw some sweaters there last week that I really liked, so maybe DH will get them for me. He really has no clue what to buy me, so he's happy when I pick stuff for him.
I will also be heading to Target this weekend. Wal-Mart used to get a good chunk of my money, but now it's going to Target.

Bridget - Love those pictures! I can't believe it was a few short months ago that I was feeding Jimmy that cereal and he was spitting it right back out. They get big so quickly.

DisneyPhD, Madison seems to have taken Lily's advice about the injuries cause she is now the proud owner of a very, very large bump on her forehead too. It's not her 1st bump, but none have looked this bad this fast. The worst part is that I wasn't watching her, so I could have prevented it, so I know the guil you feel. I had to print out this form and fax it to my husband for his exam this afternoon and so I left her in the bedroom playing on her slide. Slide, well, it's the crawl and slide arcade (Fisher Price), so hardly a slide at all. Well we happen to get free maid service today (when our building does construction that produces a lot of dust or debris they give everyone in the affected areas free house cleaning-it's very rare, but happen to be today) and the woman was in the bedroom with Madison. I know her well as she works in the building and feeds our rabbits when we're away. Well while I was printing out Joey's stuff I heard a crash and scream. Apparently the maid had moved the slide to and not set it back down all the way on the floor so when Madison stood on it, it moved and she fell onto the corner of her wooden toybox. She very rarely cries of an injury so I knew she was hurt with this scream. Then when I went to the front desk to send the fax I got comments from other residents in the lobby about how bad her bump looks, like I don't know that already.

Zalansky, have fun on your trip! Hopefully you won't need to drive back to get Cameryn (and I'm betting once you get there and are distracted you'll be fine)!

Bridget, those photos are great! Aidan looks like he really enjoyed the 1st feeding. You said his growth slowed down too much-you mean he dropped too many percentiles? Madison was born at the 75th percentile for weight and is now in the 25th. When she was 15 months she was around the 15-20th and her dr was a little concerned since they say dropping over 2 is failure to thrive, but she's back up to 25th (where she's been since about 9 months or so) so they're okay with it now. At 18 months her dr said she thinks she just wasn't designed to be a large baby, despite her birthweight (she was 8.4 lbs. and born 15 days early) so she's not worried anymore. Just wondering if that's what's going on with Aidan too, cause I was a little concerned when her dr was but I'm okay with it now. I mean, honestly, the kid doesn't eat so it's scary! Yesterday she had about 1/2 packet of oatmeal for breakfast, didn't eat snack at school, had some crackers and 1/2 a banana for 'lunch' while I was in a meeting at her school, then ate crackers and a few pieces of pasta for dinner. That was it for the day. Oh, wait, she also found a box of fruit loops and had some of those after dinner too. So I still worry about her nutrition, but I'm okay with the weight at this point.

I think I threw away one of DH's Christmas gifts!
I ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon back in the beginning of November. DH has wanted Escape from Alcatraz for the longest time, so I ordered it. The problem is that I can't find it. My house isn't big and I don't remember moving it from the baby's room (that's where I'm keeping all of the gifts).
I guess I'll be tearing my house apart this weekend to look for it. I'm sure if I buy another copy I'll find the first one a week later.

On another note, the classroom next to mine was used for in-school suspension today. I was over there three times and called the principal down twice because the students in there were terrible. I think she pulled 2 or 3 of them out of the room b/c things calmed down this afternoon. They were kicking my wall and being so loud I had to close my door. I finally had enough and went next door and screamed at the kid making all the noise. I feel terrible for the sub who comes in to monitor those kids. What a way to spend your Friday!

Lissawynn- hope you find that movie! I hate it when I do that! My dad likes that movie a lot too- it's a classic. When I was in 7th or 8th grade we took a field trip to San Fran and went to Alcatraz- CREEPY is all I can say.

Justhat- I meant to welcome you back from Phoenix pages ago! My brain flits around when I am trying to post.

I didn't go to the mall- just seemed like too much---and too many slick floors! So I just ordered Molly two pairs of pants online from Gap. Didn't get myself anything cause I ordered from Lands End last week. I ordered pants a size bigger than before cause I hate getting stuff that's too small! I HATED ordering this size, but YAY- they're too big! But I'm keeping them...I'll just go buy a belt. And I like 2 of the 3 shirts; just need to get to Sears to return the other one.

We're invited to go the neighbor's house for dinner tonight. Well, I'm bringing the pizza, they're entertaining the kids. :teeth:

Oh, my family coordinator called me----another family wants to adopt us for Christmas! I said, "Oh, Betsy, that's ok, someone else already is doing it thru Sam's school." She said, "I don't want hear that- you can have two families to sponsor you!" GEEZ. :genie: :genie: :faint: She also told me the phones are just ringing off the hook of people who want to sponsor and that a lot of these people have added that their DH or Dad or whomever is "handy" around the house & to offer that as well!!!!!! So maybe my cracked ceilings will get fixed afterall!

I just feel so stupid about all of this sometimes because both DH and I come from very middle class backgrounds- I'm just not used to other people helping us out. We don't NEED it, but it's nice that people want to show their appreciation, you know?

Justthat, oh man, so sorry for Madison and you too. Don't they just swell up so fast. It was scary to wacth. I too was in the other room and feel just terrible. Glad she is doing better. What did your DH say about it?

lissawynn, I hope you find it soon. What a pain, I hate it when things go missing.

I agree about staying home right now. Too many germs, but then again we have bit just floating around this house. We don't need any new ones though. I am the only person in my family currenlty not on antiboics! Something tells me the way I am feeling now that I might be by Monday. I am taking zicam and airborne and seeing if we can make it better before then. I had a good rest this afternoon and that helped. DH, DNiece and DD did clean up some too and that really helped. Man this house goes to pot fast when I don't do what I normally do.

Alice28, you amaze me. I don't know how you do it everyday by yourself. At least you have the love and support of your DH, but that doesn't help take care of the kids or give you a break! Take all the help that is offered. You deserve it. :grouphug: :cheer2:

Hi, thanks for the advice with the breastfeeding. Our Dr. checked to see if he is tongue tied and he's not. He's latching a little better on one side and not on the other. The domperidone is working to make milk, however I'm not able to pump that much. He is doing well on formula, but I'd still like to breastfeed. I'm going to consult a breastfeeding specialist(Dr.) to see if I can get in with him next week.

Marilynn

Thanks for letting us know how it is going. It sounds like you are doing all you can. Sometimes just relaxing about it helps. (hard to relax though when it is so important and your baby might not be getting enough food.)

Here is a hug for you and let us know how things are going. Good luck with the breastfeeding specialist. :grouphug:

Im glad you like everything. I just got my computer back up and running today, so Im sorry I didn't post sooner. Merry Christmas to you and your family

Hi all!

Robin - That's great that people want to help so much. Go ahead and enjoy it! You guys deserve it.

justthat and disneyphd - sorry to hear about all the bumps! I'm not looking forward to those.

lisawynn - good luck finding that movie!!

zalansky - Have a great time!

Bridget and SL - Adorable pictures!!

Hillary - don't you hate those shots? Poor Liam.

We had an exciting day here today. DH was staying home today so we could decorate our tree. It was supposed to be a nice quiet family day at home. It was until DH cut a chunk of skin off of his finger with scissors and ended up going to the ER. He's fine, they just cleaned it up, wrapped it and gave him a tetnus shot. sigh. We did get the tree done, but it wasn't the nice quiet day I expected!

Ugh, those er visits! Don't you just hate the moment in time when you really wish you could just rewind a little bit and do things differently and you know there is no way. So sorry and glad DH is ok. I guess I should just be happy today did not result in an er visit and both girls a sleeping safely!

Hi, all! I haven't been around much. Really drowsy and loopy as the result from side effects from some medicine I'm on. I don't have a UTI. It is a long story and I am too tired to type it. I can't remember exactly what she "thinks" I have but I have 2 medicines I have to take for 2 weeks that will hopefully do the trick to treat it. She said if it doesn't get better in 2 weeks she wants to schedule me for a biopsy! I will be getting a 2nd opinion before going for a biopsy as I don't think I have anything drastic and I think maybe she just doesn't have experience with this. Anyway, pray it is nothing serious and that the medicine will help!

Anyway, I finally got Kylie's Christmas/6 month pics back yesterday. I was too tired from the medicine to post though. It knocked me out by 7 last night and Scott had to get Kylie to bed! Oh, well, we are going out for our anniversary tomorrow night (even though it was on the 27th) and I am looking forward to that! Oh, and Kylie had her pic made with Santa today. So not worth the money as it didn't turn out well at all! Oh, well, it's her first Santa picture for the baby book anyway! Hope you are all well! Sorry, I haven't read any of the posts in a while. I'm still not feeling great and I simply am not feeling up to it. Sorry! :( Here are the pictures:

ETA: Hmmm...not sure why some are so small. Photobucket was acting up when I uploaded them so I am sure that is why. You get the drift though! I am too tired to fix it!

Tasha - Great pictures of Kylie! Hope you're feeling better.

Tkyes - Ouch! Your poor DH!

lissawynn - I hope you find that movie. I once threw away two gift cards DH got as gifts (I didn't realize they were in the birthday cards). Luckily, they were able to be replaced.

Alice28 - Sounds like you are going to have a great Christmas!

Bridget - I LOVE your new pictures!! They are so beautiful!

SL - The picture of the three of you is also very beautiful. You're a very photogenic family.

Tasha - I love Kylie's new pictures!!! She looks so happy. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Zalansky - Good luck in your choice to leave work after the new year. I too have enjoyed my time home the "second" time around. I think this time through, I know more of what to expect and it's been enjoyable being home and bonding with the baby. It's tough though because I also enjoy working, so i'm always trying to find that balance between home life and work life. Hope you're having a super time in WDW.

I'm going to take the advice of some on here and get a Bumbo seat for Liam for one of his Christmas gifts. He's such a big boy and holds up his head so well that by the time Christmas is here he'll be just ready for it.

I hope everyone is doing well today - I've got a bit of a cold that's settled in my ear, so I'm signing off for now. Talk with you all soon.

Tasha- :grouphug: I hope you are feeling back to normal soon.
Kylie sure is a doll! What great pictures!

I don't know much...best friend took the boys to Toys R Us to get Sam's bday present and then treated them to McDonald's and I met her there. It was nice to get out of the house for awhile. I need to go out again to get some treats for Sam's class (they're making gingerbread houses and she needs the candies and pretzels) but do I dare go to Target or WalMart on a Saturday? Maybe I'll just go to the grocery store or something like that. Eek.

Boy were we spoiled! Thank you so much to Miss Madison and Justine for the great exchange gifts! Aidan recieved a beautiful 1st Christmas ornament, some great christmas bibs and some great Christmas clothes. Those will come in handy since all the ones I had bought for him are now not going to fit! Thanks again!

I've got 4 coupons for $5 off of Similac Formula if anyone is interested in them. I use Enfamil. Just PM me and i'll send them to the first person who wants/needs them. Thanks!

EDITED - Coupons are taken! Thanks!
