Hey everyone - looks like y'all had a good weekend!
Justhat - funny that you have to insist that Madison get *into* the stroller, I can barely get Kailey out of ours! I'm so sorry about your Metro experience - you must have terrified. Sorry also about the mean mom - I don't get how people can forget how long it takes little kids to understand how the world works.
Robin - YAYYYY for you on the car sale!
GLT - I totally understand your exhaustion. Kailey was so hard when she was a baby - once she woke up, it took an hour to get her to settle down and go back to sleep and I was usually so wound up by them that I couldn't sleep again until - she woke up again.
SL - congratulations on the haircut! Kailey and I went to the salon yesterday and she got her her done for upcoming school photos.
It really made me appreciate her age. Sometimes I forget how easy she is compared to a baby because she still has her moments - but we really had a nice time hanging out at the salon together and then going to starbucks afterward.
Jill - I hope that John has been sleeping! I tell you, that whole "sleeping like a baby" is so misleading! Then of course, they're fussy the next day because DUH, they're tired!
Tasha & Scott - yay on the daycare working out! My IL's watch Deal or No Deal too, and since I don't, I rarely get why they are yelling NO DEAL! at various situations.
Gemma - I am so sorry!!! I am so glad that your poor tummy and Shelby's poor tummy are better now.
Dizagain - Oh good lord, NO, I'm not going to clean my bathroom. I didn't even shower today because - remember, my hair was done yesterday - so it looked just fine this morning. A little stringy now, but DH left for Texas and the kids don't notice or care. And if I'm not going to wash myself, I'm not cleaning the stinkin' house.
Anyhow, the thread caught my eye because I rarely (meaning never) get excited about household cleaning products. No matter how icky my shower is.
Joats - I tried my best not to go to Disney pregnant, but that didn't work out - and it's not so bad - really. I saw some things I wouldn't have seen otherwise.
And on the flip side gals, I took advantage of DH being very very tired last night and said - well then why the heck won't you get a vasectomy?? Do you really want to take a chance?
Oh, and I called him a weenie again for good measure - childbirth vs. a little groin pain - c'mon!. Anyhow, he traded me: one good night of sleep for a vasectomy.
