We continue to have unseasonably warm temps here in the Sunshine State...today it was 78 here and sunny. You'd never know it was winter.

Anyone or their DH, kids, have a 3 day weekend for MLK day? Connor is off thats why I ask.

Hi moms, I miss all of you! Things are good here, aside from still dealing with my depression they couldn't be better. How was everyone's holiday season? Our Christmas was great, I surprised DH with a Wii and it hi-jacked our Christmas party I think I love it more than he does, has anyone played it? SOOOOOO fun! My kids got an obscene amount of toys to go along with the 5 uhaul boxes full that we still haven't unpacked, plus the million that we did. Anyone need some? I just wanted to say hi to everyone, I'm off to watch a movie and will try to check in again tomorrow. Have I missed anything much? (I won't mention the drama I stumbled upon a few minutes ago as I scanned back to look at everyone's Christmas pictures BTW, Zalansky- love your pic! ) Take care and fill me in on the important stuff!

Morning Mommies!

Just a quick update since we are slammed here at work today.

Jose Jr. has officially gotten over his first illness (double ear infection)!! Of course, after we found out that he was allergic to Omnicef, they mixed this nasty potion for him. Of course, that was a fight to get it into him every night. We even tried mixing it in with food. No such luck. Our son could smell it a mile away. He would lean forward and sniff the food before he would eat it.

Jose Sr. has been told that he has a very large, solid mass in his thyroid that needs to be removed. We will be doing that sometime after I have little Alex while I'm still on maternity leave.

Meanwhile, they have scheduled my C-section for February 15th!!! I am very excited about that. We had a 3D sono done yesterday and Alex looks exactly like Jose Jr. Jose Sr. says that we have twins that will be 14 months apart. So, my last official day at work will be Feb 13th.

NYprincess - I'm glad to hear that Jose Jr. is feeling better. It's so hard when they are so sick! I hope everything goes well with the surgery!

How exciting about the c-section being scheduled. It's almost here!

We went with Jonthan for a middle name. That way ds could choose to go by A.J. if he wanted. I'm sure you guys will figure something out .

You really can be riding the EAC with Crush! It is pretty cool.

We went to this "concert" fund raiser at my DD's (Anna's) school last night. It is kind of strange, a local group of mom's that play hard rock kids music. It is called Candy Band. Anna has never really gotten into it ( I can't say I don't blame her.) But last night even though all of her best friends were there she just sat there (with her best friend) when all the other kids ran around and had a great time. We ended up leaving and going over to my SIL house to visist with them and ther baby. Does anyone remember Cinderelly71? She checked in a few months ago, after adopting a baby. Anyway that is my SIL and and she is doing well. She had been working crazy busy hours (12 a day with travel time) and just quit her job so she can stay at home with Caylen who is now 9 months old. The adoption is final now and Caylen is doing great. She is a very happy healthy growing little girl. Getting ready to walk any min now.

Paul goes back to work on Monday, when everyone else gets if off. Anna is off so at least I don't have to take her to school. Oh well, I would rather have a month off then MKL day (like Paul did.) It was great. He took Anna to school for me for 3 weeks. I needed that break. I hate lugging poor Lily along in the moring.
