This is weird. My post wouldn't go through. Then, I deleted a bunch of what I wrote and made it shorter and it worked. I think my computer is trying to tell me that I talk too much!

Hi everyone  ,
I'm on my way to bed but wanted to stop by quickly and say thank you to Ginamarie for the great exchange package :teeth: ! Katrina got some snuggly snowman pj's, a little holiday outfit, and a cute little stuffed cow. There was also some Cinderella magnets, Pooh pencils, a pooh journal, and a really gorgeous porcelin santa and sleigh for my collection :goodvibes . Thanks so much, GM! We loved everything :) .

Diz,
Glad you had a nice date night for your anniversary :) . It must be good to know you have a good little babysitter available for short periods of time :sunny: .

Diskim,
Hope you can figure out the computer issue soon. I hate not being able to Dis ;) .

Jill,
Good luck with your mil this weekend. When is your break? I hope it's soon :grouphug: .

Joats,
Glad to hear you are feeling better. We just had two bouts with the pink eye and it's no fun.

SL,
You crack me up with your office stories :lmao: .

Bellacam,
What a gorgeous dd you have princess: . It almost makes me want another  .

Lissa,
Great new on the house! Sounds like they are really getting a lot accomplished.

Hi to FF, Tasha, Gems, Justhat, Robin, GLT, Fab, Hillbeans, and everyone  .

Tomorrow will be a bear of a day I'm sure. We will be mobbed with people coming in to work to pick up their holiday pies. Luckily I don't need to bring anything for dinner to my mother's on Thursday. I'm making a ham dinner for us on Friday (maybe I should start referring to it as "Spanksgiving" :rotfl2: ) .

I'm off to hit the hay as I am utterly exhausted. I baby sat for a friend tonight and I think the extra kids did me in. I don't know how those of you with more than two do it. Have a good night all  .

Speaking of breastfeeding - apparently at airports around the country breastfeeding mom's held a feeding sit-in -- my Mom says, you've been done with that for months right :rolleyes1 Like I need one more stress.

Speaking of stress, I'm having major guilt issues. We haven't said anything to the kids, but I am sure they are being perceptive. Today dd just breaks down in tears and tantrums, the root of it all? She missed dh and wanted him to come with us (note, he almost NEVER comes with us to Ohio). She wanted to call him, so I called, said dd wanted to talk, they spoke, ds spoke and then tried to hand the phone to Poppy (my dad) who proceeded to hang up the phone. I felt like we hung up on dh adn feel so very guilty, although I know I need to be cutting personal ties. It is so hard.

I KNOW this is what I have to do for my happiness and for the wellness of my family, but I can't tell you how hard it is, and I feel like it's only going to get more awkward and complicated.

Thank you all for listening. I appreciate it.

Tasha - Love the pics of Kylie!

Bellacam - the vase is fabulous (WTG Robin!) and I love the b/w of your new bundle, she's so precious.

dizagain - -Happy Anniversary!!

Robin - sorry about the ipod.

lissawynn - hope the diswasher gets taken care of. Oh, and I hope you don't get that creepy dr., you need someone you are comfortable with!

Gems - I hope all is well with you.

joats -that game looks like a great way to head back to WDW w/o leaving your home :thumbsup2

gm - love the livvie marie nickname

J&D, hillbeans, cabmom, Val, bnb, diskim, disneyphd, fabumouse, justhat, Tamie and everyone else I'm missing -- HELLO

Hi guys -

Alice - I'll send you a PM about Allison. I did get your Sleeping Beauty doll too. :)

zalansky - I'm so happy you received a positive update for your father. I'm sorry for all that your family is going through.

glt - I'm sorry to hear about your separation. It can't be an easy thing to go through. I wish you weren't on the other side of WI from me!

justthat - Cute pictures of your trip! That's so cute that Chip (i think you said it was chip) remembered you guys!

lissawynn - Sounds like you've had quite a renovation project so far!

bellacam - Bailey is beautiful! Congratulations!!!

tasha - Cute pictures of Kylie!!

I think I'll do a little trip report here on the mom's board if that's ok. I don't really feel up to doing a full fledged report on the trip report board. I'll hop back on here after nip/tuck.

Tamie

Sometimes, I make things too complicated on myself. I already wrapped the stupid keyboard, so I couldn't look at it to see if an ipod would work. I fret all afternoon and then as I am talking it out with DH, I think, "Hey, I guess I can look up on the internet if an ipod works." DUH! And it does. So I'm happy. :sunny:

Diz- so glad you and your DH had a nice date night at Olive Garden. Esp cause it was paid for by MIL!

Tasha- happy early Anniversary to you!

GLT- great to see you! I'm sorry things are stressful with the kids and your husband....lovely thing for your mom to say about the breastfeeding. :sad2: I saw a news clip of what started the whole sit ins at the airports. Apparently a woman was nursing her 5-6 month old baby before takeoff, and the flight attendant says, "You need to put a blanket over your baby- you are offending me." (The woman said no breast was exposed). The woman said, "No thanks, I don't need a blanket" so the flight attendant had them booted off the plane! :furious: :furious: :furious:

Hi Val! Well, at least work will go by quickly tomorrow with all the pie pickups, right? I am watching best friend's 4 year old on Saturday. She and her DH both work retail and she was in a jam. She said, "Can you watch him for a few hours on Saturday for me?" I said, "OK" she said, "OK, it's from 10-5." In what world is that a 'few hours'? Ugh. I just hope he behaves- he's the little pistol I have mentioned a few times over the last year or two. AND- this is what I am dreading most. Pray he doesn't have a poopie, cause he's not potty trained yet! He is 4 years, 2 month. Yuck. I'm not going to be happy about that part of the day; changing Molly's poops are bad enough.

lissawynn- YAY that the plumbers stayed and really got a lot done! :cheer2: That's great news!

Well, I just heard DH say, "Go find Momma" so I better go!

ETA- THANK YOU TAMIE for picking up the Sleeping Beauty! :thanks: :jumping1: Just PM me the cost/shipping and I will get a check off to you ASAP. I would love to hear a trip report from you! It's my favorite way to pass the time- reading trippies!

I started a mini trip report and then realized that I talk to much and it won't be very mini. I guess I'll just keep typing and post a real trip report if I finish :)

The highlights - Tyler enjoyed all the rides, he didn't get scared on anything. He was pretty wide-eyed and quiet on the rides. It was when he was done that he would do the "more" sign or not want to get off. He started crying when Jo Jo left the stage at the Playhouse Disney show!! We watch JoJo's Circus sometimes, but he's never said JoJo before. Now he loves JoJo and says it all the time. He also fell in love with Tigger "tigga" and Nemo "eo".

The Nemo show at AK was great! We loved it. They are super strict about no pictures (i got scolded) so I don't have any to share.

Of course we ate too much. We did the dining plan and kind of had a mix up with it. According to our receipts (the receipt tells you how many credits you have left) we had 2 more credits left than I thought. I figured that our meal at Wolfgang Puck didn't get deducted from our credits. We knew there was a chance it was charged to our room, but we didn't bother to check with the desk. We just used the credits that it said we had. Upon checkout I discovered the meal did get charged to our room. Oh well! My mom isn't a big counter service person, so we ended up doing a couple of extra meals out of pocket anyway.

The Beach Club was very nice. The pool is a blast! We had it all to ourselves one morning, it was great. The raspberry pina colada is sooo good! I thought for sure I would never consider going back to a moderate after staying at a deluxe, but that's not really the case. Don't get me wrong, I loved our stay, but if it was me paying the difference between a mod and a deluxe, I just couldn't do it.

I bought the photopass CD. I knew I was going to ahead of time, so we just took pictures everywhere we could. I think we ended up with 73 pictures on the CD.

Here are a few from the CD, I haven't downloaded any from my camera yet.

And Tyler loved the characters, he would practically jump out of my arms when he saw them (the costume ones at least, he couldn't have cared less about the Princesses). He would run towards them and then stop two feet in front of them and just point and grunt. We tickled a couple of noses and played peek-a-boo with some, but no hugs.

Tamie those photos are so cute! And I love Tyler's shirts. I'll have to show Madison in the morning cause I know she'll think they're very cool.

GLT - Don't let your mom or anyone stress you on the nursing. Pretty much everyone I know thought it was weird I nursed Madison as long as I did (21 months). In fact, I would have agreed with them before I had her. My SILs even asked my husband when I planned to stop nursing Madison when she was not even 3 months old. But it worked for us and we were both ready for her to be weaned when she did so it was a really low stress process. Leif will be the same way. Right now you've got more things on your plate to deal with so I'd leave the nursing alone for the time being. For your sake, cause forcing him to wean will be way stressful on you, and his sake too cause I'm sure that it will be comforting to him while things are changing in his house. I can safely say that you'll never regret nursing him as long as you did so try to remember that when you hear criticism.

Tasha - Kylie's Christmas photos are adorable. She really looks happy too, something I have never acheived with Madison's photos. She always looks like she's being tortured and forced to smile. I love her dress too.

Diz - Happy Anniversary!! Glad you enjoyed your dinner out.

Alice28 - Good thing that the ipod will work. That would have been a pain to deal with otherwise. I heard about that airplane situation too and I would have been very annoyed. I have nursed both kids on many flights and no one ever commented but I honestly don't know what I would have done if they did. I've pumped and brought on bottles too, but sometimes that doesn't always work out, especially on the way home from a trip. Putting breastfeeding thoughts aside, I'm all for whatever works to quiet a baby on a plane so I would never complain if I saw a mom nursing a baby. And good luck to you babysitting a non-potty trained 4+yo. My cousin's 2nd kid was 4yo and change when she was potty trained and it was no fun to babysit her. In her case I think the mom was lazy and figured she'd wait till kid #3 was ready to train and do them both together. Problem was that they were 22 months apart so kid #2 was old.

Fabumouse - With Madison I solely breastfed her and was fertile again exactly 1 year after my last cycle, so she was 3 months old too. We were on our honeymoon and I told my husband he better keep his distance since that was the exact time Madison was conceived a year earlier and I certainly did not need another baby at that time. Today would be the day for that to happen this time around and so far, so good. I'm hoping I make it till January since we'll be away right before Christmas and I don't need another thing to deal with on vacation. Actually, if things could hold off till March this time around I'd be thrilled!

I had Madison's conference today and found out what class she'll be moving into in January. They move up to the 3-5yo class within 3 months of their 3rd birthday so she'll be one of the young ones in there. One of her friends from her current class is moving up to the same class so I'm happy about that cause I think it will ease the transition. She's been in the same class for 1.5 years, with just 12 kids total and 3 teachers, and now it will be a new class with 27 kids and 2 teachers so I think it will be a big shock to her. Hopefully she adjusts okay. Her teacher seems to think she's just a joy to have around. Of course I agree, but with me she can be a little terror to other kids sometimes, but at school apparently she's angelic and helps all the other kids all day. I'm happy about that but I wish she'd act that way with me around too. Maybe one day....

Time for me to head to bed cause even though there's no school tomorrow I know Madison will be rising with the sun.

The names for the Secret Santa Exchange have been sent. Since this was a small exchange and most of the Secret Santas have participated in all of the exchanges that we've done over the year, I had a hard time pairing each person with someone that they haven't already been paired with in another exchange. Hope no one is disappointed in the outcome. Thanks to those who are participating! Have fun!!!

Jenna got her flu shot today. She had a very good nurse. She gave the shot to Jenna before she even had time to finish lying down on the table. :thumbsup2 After her shot we went to eat Mexican food b/c Jenna said she wanted beans, rice, and tortillas for dinner. Jenna was so cute dipping her chips in the green (don't know what it is really called) sauce.

We are heading to my in-laws tomorrow, so I better get off of the computer and start packing. I'll try to check in before we leave.

TTFN!

Hey everyone!

Z - Great news about your dad!

Lissawynn - Thanks for the PM I have sent you one back. Also great news about your construction, I can't believe what happened with the plumber - best thing though, I wish there were more rules like that in the UK. Here dead beat dads are just allowed to get away with it and the good people that pay their taxes get to support their kids through that.

Jill - hi!! Thanks for the PM!

GLT - I am glad that you are ok. Please feel free to PM me if theres anything at all that I can do for you. :grouphug:

J&D - I forgot all about the Secret Santa! I am bummed!

Robin - Good luck with your baby sitting, I know what you are saying about popps, even though they are awful when it's your own kid they are kinda ok ....right?? :lmao:

Tamie - I can't wait to read your trippie, I am at work and I can't see your pictures that you posted but I am sure that they are cute, I will have a look later when I check in from home.

Bellacam- I am glad that you likes youe welcome baby gifts! princess:

Kim - Weird with your computer not letting you post long messages, I think mine is trying to figure out how to stop me talking so much! :rotfl:

Hi Nuchpharm! - glad you got 5 mins peace and quiet when the kids were sleeping / eating - it's great isn't it!

Hillbeans - Thanks for the PM.

Val - Good luck with the holiday pies!! :teeth:

Well I am att work today, I feel awful but I thought I had better make an appearance. I doubt that I will stay all day though TBH. Shelby was in a good mood this morning when I woke her at 6am! She was smiling away to me like a maniac - moments like that make everything ok don't they!

I sold 4 bears in balloons yesterday through my friend who works for the local hospital, I will have to post a picture of one that I have made when I get a chance. They are so darn cute! I am pleased that it's going well I have to recoup £550 before I actually make any profits!

Talking of breast feeding - I did it for 8 weeks with Shelby and I will prob do it for about the same time with this one, to be honest I really wanted to do it longer but I was having to top her up with formula anyway so DH and I thought it wasn't worth me getting so tired out with getting up every 2 hours when she would go 4 on formula. I think cos she was in SCBU for 4 days too my milk supply wasn't that good to start with. She seems to be ok on it though so I guess it's not an issue! That's awful about the air line person kicking the nursing Mom off the plane though - :confused3 wth is that all about?

I guess I had better get on and do some work anyways.

Take care all and hopefully I will check back later on.

Gems

Quick post here as I have to go to work ...

GLT - My best friend just went through a divorce last October. She found out her husband was cheating on her while she was in the hospital giving birth to their second child. That was in June. The divorce was final by October. She was very worried about her 6-year-old son. He had some adjustment issues which included acting out and hitting his new sister since he thought she was the cause of all of it. He had always been a difficult child so it didn't suprise me. Anyway, he is absolutely fine now. It has been a year and he is actually much better behaved than he was before the divorce. I think it ended up being a positive change in his life. My point is that it is so hard in the beginning and in is natural to feel guilty but if it is the right decision, like it was for my friend, your children will end up happier in the long run.

As far as the story about the breastfeeding mom on the plane, that is absolutely horrible!! I can't believe that stewardess.

Good morning. Today's our pizza party at work. Did I mention we're also having champagne? Pizza and champagne. I think they're celebrating that new contract we got. Goody for them, but I'm still waiting for my raise to go through. I'm hoping it's in the next paycheck. Oh, the rodent checkers now think it's a bird up in the ceiling.

J&D - I got your PM.

bellacam - Glad you like the flowers! :flower2:

Alice28 - Technically, I believe an ipod is an mp3 player just made under the Apple name. I know you checked online, but just in case you need extra assurance.

tkyes - I love your pictures! Tyler looks so happy to see the characters. I'm glad you had a good time. Any Beach Club details I should know about?

lissawynn - Looks like your chimney guy got himself into a bit of trouble. Glad your roof is finally up!

Tasha - WTG on your final! Good luck with the rest of your classes.

dizagain - Glad you enjoyed your anniversary dinner. I can't believe how long your DH's company is making you wait on that info.

val - Hope your day isn't too busy. Although when I have a lot to do, the day goes by much faster.

DisKim - Glad your computer is working again. Do you still have to make those short posts?

glt - I can't imagine how hard this is for you. :grouphug:

justhat - I hope Madison enjoys her new class. I worked in a daycare in both the 2 yr old room and the 3-5 yr old room. There is a huge difference between the two age groups but most kids made the adjustment with no trouble. It'll help that her friends are going with her.

Gem - Congrats on the balloon sales!

ginamarie - Enjoy your Spanksgiving. I love it!

joats - Glad you're feeling better. I think I'm going to get that game for DH for Christmas.

morning all,

Kona is still sick. :guilty: Her fever went to 104 last night. I get so nervous when she gets a high fever like that. I thought she was gettin better yesterday but I guess not.

DisKim,

I can't believe your friend's husband. How can anyone cheat on their spouse, let alone when they are in the hospital giving birth? :sad2:

tkyes,

The pictures are wonderful!! You all look like you had a wonderful time. Doesn't it feel good to walk around in shorts in the middle of November? I'm glad you missed the cold spell. It has been freezing here for a few days.

Tasha & Scott,

Kylie's pictures are great. She is such a cutie.

Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Thanksgiving "Eve". I'm working today but hope to get out sometime around 3 pm today. We're driving out to PA this evening and it's always such a long drive with all the traffic on the roads.

Did I ever tell you ladies that when I was 21, I was in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade? I worked for Macy's part-time when I was in College and signed up to be in the parade. My father had a heart attack 4 days before Thanksgiving so he was in the hospital at the time. Anyway, I remember it rained kind of hard that day and I marched with the Big Apple Circus group dressed as a Clown. It was a really fun experience, and I was happy that I got to experience the parade as a participant.

Floridafam- hope Kona feels better today. That's a very high fever.

Dizagain - Happy Anniversary!

Gems - Congrats on selling 4 more balloons.

LOL Strawberry Lemonade - I've never heard of a Pizza/Champagne party??

Justine - Glad to hear Madison is doing well in school.

Tamie - Thanks for the mini-trip report. Wow -you had that pool all to yourself one morning? How awesome. I can't wait to stay at BCV when we go next year. DId you find it easy being a short walking distance from so many things like MGM, Epcot and the Boardwalk?

Alissa - So cool that you're SCUBA certified also. I would need a refresher class if I ever did it again. I really hope to do it again when the kids are a little older and we go away somewhere tropical.

Hi to Jill, Ginamarie, Diskim, Val, Alice, Loretta, Bellacam, Tasha, Gottalovethem, Buzznbelle, J & D, fabumouse, Cabmom, DisneyPhD, Nucpharm, Joats, and all my mommy friends.

I'm sure i'll be checking in at some point from PA over the weekend, but I wish everyone safe travels for those who are also traveling and a very Happy Thanksgiving to all the mom's and their families.

Morning all! :sunny:

I had to get up early and get Emma ready for day camp. My sister works at a local "expensive" fitness club and they are having a day camp for the kids of the members today--guess kids here don't have school today. Anyway, they needed one more child to get a discount at the museum/play place they are going today, so Emma gets to go--and for FREE!!! :cool1: So, today I have two one-year olds. I had to trade Emma for my niece. Not a bad trade though, b/c they play well together, and i don't have to watch Noggin all day! :rotfl:

tykes--love the pictures! I'll have to make my way over to the trip reports to read about yours!

ff--Hope Kona gets better for you. Those high fevers are really scary. Sort of sounds like what Matthew had a month or so ago. It went away after 3 days.

SL--well at least now, all you'll have to dodge is bird poop--If I had to choose I'd rather have bird droppings than a rabid rodent falling from the ceiling! :rotfl:

Well, the 2 have finished breakfast so mommy duty is now resuming! Hope to check in later!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve, Hillbeans and all the other mommies.

I don't know how far I'll get here, but wanted to check in and say thanks for the comments and advice on the breastfeeding. She wasn't pulling yesterday and that really made a big difference. Guess I'll just have to keep reassessing the situation.

I need to go renew my license today - and of course I'm having a TERRIBLE hair day.

SL- Thank goodness there was no rat in the air system.

Tasha- That’s so funny that we sing the same song to our girls!

Joats- Glad you’re feeling better. That board of the Magic Kingdom game makes me nostalgic for WDW too!

Bella- I love the birth announcement. Bailey looks like an angel in that picture,

Lissawynn- Great news about the roof being finished! LOL about the Skanksgiving. DH and I do impressions of the Ladies Man sometimes too. We’re goofy like that. OMG peanut butter cake sounds so good! I keep adding more and more desserts to our menu because they all sound good.

Dizagain- Glad you had a nice anniversary dinner.

Val- Glad you liked the package :)

GLT- I’m sorry the separation is so tough. Don’t let anyone bother you about the nursing. My mom got a lot of comments about nursing DBro for so long, but it was a great comfort for him, and when he was ready to stop, he stopped.

Alice- Glad the ipod situation worked out.

Tykes- What great pictures! We’re planning to buy the CD too. With ten days worth of pictures, it should be a good deal. Tyler is adorable.

Gems- the balloon business seems to be working out well already.. that’s great!

FloridaFam- I hope Kona gets better soon. A 104 degree fever would have freaked me out.

Hillbeans- I love the Macy’s parade. I’ve never gone to see it live, but I watch it on TV every year. This year I’m going to DVR it and watch it with the kids on Saturday.

Fabs- Good luck with the license.

Well the news on the bump wasn’t great. The doctor said that it didn’t look like a normal cyst, so it really needs to get removed and biopsied. Of course, since it’s on the very top of my head, they’ll need to shave off a whole section of my hair. Did I mention it’s on the VERY top of my head?? Everyone is getting a big kick out of my soon to be shaved head. I’m going to hold off on it until after Christmas. I just can’t take pictures of Olivia’s first Christmas looking like that.

Olivia’s been waking up every couple of hours the last few nights. So I’m exhausted. OK time for a few hours of work so I can start cooking!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who won't be around later!!!

Good morning ladies :goodvibes

Grandpa just came and took Connor to Busch Gardens and Cam went down for a nap so I have free time, which really I should be cleaning. HA! One load of laundry counts for cleaning, right? :confused3

Bellacam - glad you liked the flowers and I have to say I love that vase! How cute! Love the new pic of Bailey and yes, you should use that for her birth announcements.

FF - sorry to hear Kona is sick. :guilty: I would have freaked with the fever too. I hope she is feeling better today.

Hillbeans - happy Thanksgiving eve to you too! That is cool that you were in the Macys' parade! Back when I lived on LI I worked at Macys and signed up to be in the parade too, but then I backed out when I realized how cold it was going to be. I regret not doing it now. Have a great time in PA!

GLT - glad you checked in and are doing well. Continued hugs & prayers to you.

Ginamaire - I am sorry to hear about your bump on your head and the fact you'll have to shave some hair off! I would be a mess about the hair if I were in your shoes so I give you kudos for having such a good sense of humor about it. Hopefully it will be nothing. Fingers crossed for you.

Dizagain - Happy Anniversary! :cloud9:

nucpharm - How cool Emma gets a fun day for FREE. Free is always for me! I hope she enjoys her day and that you do too.

Fab - good luck at the DMV and I hope your pic comes out good.

SL - Pizza and champagne certainly don't seem to mix but hey! They're letting you drink at work so that's very cool!!!

Gems - great job on selling the bears and balloons, I'd love to see a picture of them.

Tkyes - GREAT pictures! Tyler definitely looks like he had a blast! How did you like the food at Wolfgang Puck's? We have ressies there for next week on the dining plan. I had read on one of the dining plan threads that people were saying that we needed to tip additional $ to the servers at non-Disney restaurants? Well, thats not happening. Disney and the non-disney restaurants can figure that out between themselves. Anyway I'd love to hear your thoughts on that place.

Hi to the other moms :wave2:

The Jehovahs Witnesses have been walking our neighborhood all week and have knocked on my door everyday. I have not answered but today Connor ran and answered the door because he thought it was Grandpa picking him up for Busch Gardens. So because I am spineless at times, I stood there in my pj's and listening to the guys' ramblings and took his pamphlets. He mentioned something about coming back with his wife and sitting down with me and DH. YIKES! That won't happen. And I could never be a Jehovah anyway (no offense if someone here is!) because I am not giving up celebrating birthdays and holidays! NO WAY!

Thanks again for the well wishes for my Dad. Things are back to bad again. Anyone who has ever gone through this with a loved one with terminal cancer knows what a rollercoaster it is. My sisters and I were so desperate for something good that when they said he could be treated we took that as he can go another year or more. But after talking to the nurse and the oncologist yesterday and seeing him, the reality is he more than likely will not get much treatment. They might be able to do the radiation but that is only to prevent the tumor from growing to his kidneys which would be even worse than what it is now. And I can't stress enough how bad off he is now. This may sound bad but I don't know why they are treating him, because he has SO many problems and is paralyzed on top of it, it just does not make any sense to me. In my eyes he wants to go on some level anyway. Thank goodness I have DH and the kids and come home and see them laughing and playing and they make me forget it all for a while. I am not going to keep posting about it because the bottom line is it is only a matter of time. We just don't know how much. And I am not going to be a downer!

Anyway, have a great day everybody - I am off to bake some cookies. I finished my last brownie from Joats this mornign so I need some more sweets in the house. See you later. :p

Hi all. We had our m.s. talent show this morning and the kids are REVVED up beyond words. Thank goodness I have this class, lunch, and one more class. I'm showing them The Princess Bride b/c I forgot Pocohontas at home.

Ginamarie - I'm sorry you're going to have a shaved head. I have always wanted to shave my head at the end of a school year. One of these days I just might do it.

Hillbeans - Have a safe trip to PA. We're supposed to have nice weather here in NE PA for the next few days.

SL - Ok, the bird in the ceiling freaks me out a lot more than a mouse. I am terrified of birds and bats. It's all the flapping. When we were at the shore this summer, a seagull swooped down and took the funnel cake that I had in my hand. I almost had a heart attack. I just let the plate fall and kept walking. I have to bypass the huge bats on the walking trail at AK.

fab - I hope your pic turns out well!

nucpharm - Have fun with the two little ones! Did you get any of your food made?

floridafam - I hope Kona's fever has gone down.

DisKim - My friend's husband started cheating on her AFTER she almost DIED giving birth to their son. She had this really rare heart condition brought on by her pregnancy and almost died during labor. No one knew she had fluid on her heart. Anyway, after she was in the hospital for three weeks and had surgery, she came home. She wasn't able to teach for almost 2 years. The whole time he was seeing this girl who was his best friend's fiancee. He moved out over a year ago, and she finally got the whole story on New Year's Eve of last year.

GLT - That said, just take one day at a time. I'm the child of divorce and it took some getting used to, but things were much better at home w/o mom and dad fighting all night. Also, my parents have a good relationship now and I think my sisters and I made it through pretty unscathed.

gems - Yay for you and your balloon sales! I hope you can make back the money you spent on the machine really soon.

J&D - Have a great holiday!

justthat - I'm sure Madison will get used to her new class. Maybe they'll be able to do lots of fun stuff with all of those kids.

tamie - I love your WDW pics. Tyler looks like he had a great time!

Alice - Glad the iPod works with the keyboard. I have to check all of our stuff and buy batteries before I wrap the gifts.

Gotta run! It's lunch time!

fab - Good luck with the DL picture. It's always a challenge to get a decent license picture taken in Jersey.

Z - I'm sorry to hear the news turned bad again for your father. I can't imagine going through something so horrible :grouphug: .

GM - OMG! I'm so sorry that they are going to have to shave your head! Maybe if you pull it back in a barette or ponytail no one will be able to notice. When they shaved my brother's gf's head for her brain surgery, I couldn't even tell that they had shaved her head because of the way it had been done.

I have about a hundred million things to do today and Aidan won't take a nap. He cried for the longest time in his crib. He's cudding with Emmy now, so hopefully that means he's getting tired.

Just have a sec...the girls are chopping away at the celery and onion for the dressing and then we're on to pumpkin pie, fruit salad, chocolate truffle stuff! They are big helpers but Hayley is a little disgusted that I don't "really" know what I'm doing as this is only my second ever Thanksgiving to cook!

Zalansky - :grouphug:

ginamarie - sorry about the shaved head...I'd wait til after Christmas too as long as the doctor didn't mind.

I need to go - the cooks are fighting and since they both have sharp knives in hand I should investigate!!! ;)

happy Thanksgiving Eve!!!
