The Official May 2015 Thread!!

Booked for The Poly May 9 - 12 for son's 17th Bday!!!

managed to get the Spirit of Aloha, Ohana, CRT and BOG booked as well (granted, BOG was totally by sheer luck and it's a late res.) , along with Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party for the night of his Bday!!!

it will be the first time any of us have stayed in the World longer than an overnighter and first time we've ever stayed in a Deluxe resort (we live in Central FL, so easy for us to take a day trip, but we usually spend the night)

I have CRT, BOG, and the dessert party all booked on May 11th! We're staying deluxe too, first time ever on site.

we've got Spirit of Aloha 5/9
Ohana Breakfast 5/10
CRT 5/10
TTDP 5/10
Kona cafe 5/11
Crystal Palace 5/11
BOG 5/11

LOL, maybe our paths will cross!!! are you staying at the Poly too? We've stayed onsite before, but the 'best' we've done is POR. Soooo darned excited to be getting the "Deluxe'" experience!!!

:yay:

We are staying at the Boardwalk. I'm so excited too! We always stay offsite but changed our minds with all this fastpass talk on this board.

Maybe we'll cross paths at BOG. We have a 4:40 dinner ard, but I'd much rather get the lunch fastpass. My son would be terrified to see the Beast at dinner :lmao:

Our BOG res is for 9 p.m. ( I'm not complaining.. it was booked solid for the last 4 weeks and i was ready to give up, but noticed while scouting for another ADR that there was an opening.. so I grabbed it...lol)

Why don't you just book them now? Are you looking at places that need to be prepaid and want a dining plan to substitute prepaying?

I added on one day at the end of the trip (the 12th) at CSR.

I will officially get my travel agents license on January 1st, so I will wait and book my trip then. I didn't want to have to change everything around, so I will wait - not so patiently. :) It won't be long now.

I'll get you changed on the board!:thumbsup2

Ah...that makes sense.

We got our dining for the SWW. We get in on the 18th. Now to find a flight that gets in early enough to see Peter Mayhew!

Oh crap. That is the 2014 list. I just did a copy/paste without looking. Will go back and edit that! Thanks for pointing that out!!

Here is the 2015 dates (no guests announced as of yet):

May 22-24, 2015
May 29-31, 2015
June 5-7, 2015
June 12-14, 2015

Heck! I didn't look at the year.

Well we still have our ADR's for H&V and SciFi, so it's all good. :)

Hi everyone! :wave2:

First time posting in this thread! We'll be there from 5/3 to 5/8 (staying off site, arriving late on 5/2 and leaving early on 5/9) and I was thrilled to be able to book all the ADRs and special packages I wanted. We're going to eat several meals in the timeshare and in the Orlando area as well. I would have liked BOG for our last night but am OK with not having it, because we ate there on our last trip last November.

Day 1 - Magic Kingdom at rope drop (B: resort, L: QS at MK) rest at resort then dinner off site -- then Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise for my Captain Hook obsessed 5-year-old son!

Day 2 - SLEEP IN (the boy isn't used to late nights) then EPCOT mid-afternoon to the evening. QS dinner there, no clue where.

Day 3 - B: Tusker House (AK until lunch) D: 50's Primetime Cafe (Fantasmic that night)

Day 4 - Magic Kingdom

Day 5 - Animal Kingdom day / EPCOT in the evening

Day 6 - B: Hollywood & Vine (HS until lunchtime) D: The Plaza Restaurant and will end our trip at MK.

If Disney offers the Star Wars Galactic Dine-In Breakfast again, we'll try to get that either day 4 or 5. Either way, we'll still go to the parks listed after breakfast. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I am beyond THRILLED that I got the Star Wars Galactic Dine-In Breakfast for our 4th day -- May 6th! My husband said he loved me more than life itself after I got it. This ADR is for US and not the boy.

And I'm pretty happy with our plans overall. Day 5 we will keep our evening option open to either Downtown Disney or a return to EPCOT if our 5-year-old prefers. I'd be fine skipping Downtown Disney altogether to be honest. Especially if the parking situation sucks due to building the new parking garage.

I just booked a trip May 30- June 5 for my birthday (June 1)!! It's me, my best friend, and my DD(4) and we are staying at Pop Century.

I am so excited, I was able to get a BOG dinner reservation ON my birthday!!!

Subbing....in discussions about a SWW trip next year. The main discussion is whether or not the kids will be along for this one!! Already planning a trip for next December, so may do this one sans kiddos, especially since they aren't too excited about all the Star Wars stuff. A little late to the game here, I've never planned a WDW trip inside the 180-mark before, so feeling a little frantic already :)

We've had to cancel our last trip due to personal emergencies so we have rescheduled for two weeks, May 16-30 2015. And to make it more magical we received a room only offer that was an amazing deal for us especially since we have APs and free dining is no longer a savings. This will be our 5th trip and the first time we will be making dining reservations!

I'm just hoping this trip actually happens because I am having severe Disney withdrawal!

Now lets get planning!!!:cool1::cool1:

Oh one question-my kids are both in 8th grade this year and school ends May 21st so we'll be missing the last 4 days of classes. Do you think theyll be missing much or that would cause more issues than missing a week in the middle of the year? Anyone take their kids out of class?

We could wait til the following week to go but I'd like to catch the end of Flower & Garden festival, and the price goes up because the discount ends May 30.

Just booked 5/12 - 5/16 for SWW with my dad & brother - trying to get my mom to come along this year, but so far, not happening! We'll keep working on her, though. :) It's been ten years since we stayed at Pop & we really want a resort that doesn't share a bus, so we're going back!
