Hi!:wave2:

Haven't booked yet :(

Plans are May 8-13th

Staying at Pop/AoA OR CBR (Depending on Discounts ect..)

It will be Me (I'll turn 24 on the 5th), DBF 22 (His First time in a Disney Park :thumbsup2) and My friend Fe (She turns 24 April 29th) and her DBF (23?)

Celebrating 2 late Birthdays :cheer2:

The last time I was there in May was in 2005 to celebrate my 16th and my mom's 40th Birthdays. So hoping for good crowd levels and nice weather :goodvibes

PS... Thanks to Corrine 1973 for helping me find this page/group/thread :)

I'll go ahead and get you added to our list! When you get everything finalized, I'll change it if anything needs changing.

I haven't booked yet either. I'm waiting to see if any good deals come out for next year.

We are booked for May 12-25 split stay

Part of is at AofA and part at a vacation rental.

Myself(DH38) DW34 DD7 and DS5

It will be our first time in DW and we are so excited

and good tips or suggestions are appreciated.

We are booking in Oct, thinking AKL around may 10th!

Ok, so I joined the June group, but I think I will defect to the May group because I see people on here who are going the same time as us, also celebrating anniversaries! Our dates are May28th-June 7th, the longest we have ever gone to WDW. Our last trip was in June of 2010, and the day we got back, DH said- "So when are we going back?" We decided that our youngest should be at least 5, so May/June 2013 it is! We will also be celebrating our DD's 6th birthday while we are there - a trip full of celebrating! Ready to get the hours so I can really get planning! We are tentatively staying at POR, in the Royal Guest Rooms - the girls are super excited!

I CANNOT WAIT TO BE BACK IN MAY! After going in July, May is going to be sooooo welcomed! :rotfl:

While we cannot officially book until October, we are hoping to be staying at the Beach Club Villas from May 12 - 19.

I look forward to this group!

Is it too soon to pack...lol

LOL

My 10 year old has a countdown calendar on my phone.

Every morning, I hear an update. Today, it was "269 days until we go back to Disney!"

I wouldn't be surprised to find out she's started packing already! :lmao:

Is it too soon to pack...lol

Not really! I've started a box to throw things in specifically for this trip (i.e. ponchos). I already have several things in the box, including some little things I picked up during the Disney Store sale last month.

DH just shakes his head when I mention stuff like that.....he thinks I'm slightly nuts. He's probably right.

I am still impatiently waiting to hear if my BIL will agree that my sis and the kids can go with us. I'm not booking until I know.

If she can't go, then Mom, son and I will be in a preferred room at ASMu and we will at least take my niece with us. If they all get to come, then we are getting a family suite at ASMu.

Still planning for May 29 - June 4.

It is never too early to start collecting! I too have a box full of things I am saving for our trip. My husband also shakes his head at me when I make purchases, but I would rather do it in small increments than go out and make one huge purchase!

Hi everyone! So i am thiiiisssss close to booking the hotel portion of my vacation, which is the final step in the booking process :) I have decided that we are DEFINITELY staying onsite because we thought it was comparable in price to other hotels in the area (offsite), and we liked the convenience of being able to return to the hotel for a break from the park without wasting so much travel time. Its only $141 deposit on the room, which is $139 Canadian, so I'm very tempted to book!

However, when we crunched the numbers, we realized that if we stay at Disney, our airport transportation is covered by DME, and we won't have to rent a car on property, only thing is we'll have to take the Mears Shuttle to Universal, but they have a great deal on that on Dreams Unlimited. So, the Disney hotels are actually CHEAPER due to that. Plus, we won't have to rely on an offsite hotel's theme park shuttle.

So my dilemma is Pop Century or Art of Animation? For our 5 night stay, its $25 more expensive overall to stay at AOA. I like the idea of a brand new hotel, but just worried that my bf might be a little put off by the Little Mermaid Room (its just the two of us on this trip). Thoughts?

I'm SO glad I found this thread!!! :grouphug: I am super excited to be planning our next WDW trip for next May and I'm driving DH absolutely nutty with all my pre-planning (as there's not much that can be done yet!)
We are tentatively looking at 7th - 25th May or thereabouts, I'm hoping to avoid Memorial Day weekend this time! There will be 9 of us - myself, DH, our DS who will be almost 15 months old when we travel, my mother, father, sister, her DBF and my favourite aunt and uncle. We've all been to Disney before and we've travelled together except my sister's DBF and of course my DS (although he was conceived on our Disneymoon so we're looking at it as bringing him back home!! ;) )
We are flying from Ireland so just waiting on the regular September flight sale, those rates should be available in the middle of September so we will have definitive dates by the end of September at the latest!! We are planning on staying offsite for this trip, I think the space with a large group of us who generally like to split up and do our own thing is the best way to go so we're booking a villa. We've done this before and enjoyed it a lot :)
Can't wait to be really able to start planning everything when the hours come out and we can book ADRs - then I'll get really into the swing of it :)

In for May 31st through June 8th at Wilderness Lodge. My son's third trip to Disneyworld and my daughter's 2nd. Can't wait to get back there and hang with the mouse. :thumbsup2

Hi!

We are not booked yet, but are hoping for the 12-20 of may (or something close to those dates). Really hoping for a discount? it will be our first time in May and for SWW!

My family & I are over staying at Old Key West, May 2nd until May 16th. Booked with Free Dining last Thursday. Love the May time of the year to be there.

May 2013er here :woohoo: My bf and I will be there from May 15th to the 18th. It'll be his first trip there and my second, but it'll be our very first trip anywhere together! He graduates college the week before so we'll be celebrating that and just the fact that we love Disney lol. The last time I went(2010), I was with my family and they didnt enjoy it very much :( But luckily, I have a boyfriend who loves Disney just as much as I do  lol. We've already been planning(mostly me though lol) and we cant wait to go! As a grad gift, I want to try to make reservations for the Wishes Dessert Party as a surprise(he doesnt read these boards so i'm good lol) so hopefully that works out.
