Just wanted to let everyon know who has been patiently (and not so patiently ) waiting for the 2013 packages to be released, I have some very exciting information.

I logged onto the Web site this morning to check to see if prices had been released yet (a daily of obsession of mine of late). Normally it will tell me that only dates up to Dec 31, 2012 are available and to change my dates. Well. . . today this showed up as well. I just cut and pasted it so this is what it actually says.

2013 Walt Disney World Resort package and room-only reservations will be available online on July 11, 2012!

WOOO HOOO! I am also one who logs onto the web site to check for next year's dates every day. This is awesome news!!! Thanks for the info!

We had to post pone our September trip. SO I am booking our May 2013 using DVC points. Can I be added to the countdown list please??

We are officially booked. Our dates are still the same but we decided not to stay at Pop this year. We will now be at POFQ from May 26th- June 1st.

We're about to book May 5-11th at Beach Club - our 2nd family trip with our 3 boys... our first was this past April - and we loved it so much we decided we couldn't wait 2 years like we planned!

It was spring break when we went last time - b/c we went with my 18yo niece for help, and she couldn't miss school.... this time we're taking our boys out of school (kindergarten and preK... the former K teacher in me hates doing this, but the mom in me needs to b/c I can't deal with April crowds again!)

For those who have stayed at the POFQ, how did you like it compared to other resorts?

I have only stay at two diffrent resorts at WDW and POFQ was one of them. I stayed there this last March. One of the things I really liked about it is that all the rooms are within about a 5 min walk to the main building. At other resorts you have to pay extra for being this close to the main building. I also enjoyed the theme. The only thing I didn't care for was the food courte. But than that might because what I ordered wasn't good at all (chicken quasida).

We will be there for a part of the time you are (May 6-11), and we are debating between POP and AoA. To be exact, I am debating...DBF really could care less. To be fair, he does NOT know that the AoA room is Little Mermaid, I just told him its a brand new hotel, which appeals to him haha

However, when we were thinking of going last year, AoA was not open, and we both though Pop was really cool. We can still visit there even if we decide not to stay.

My bff and I will be there May 7th to the 13th or 14th. We're planning to stay at either AoA or at POR in a royal room depending on the discount. Hoping for a PIN -- of course, I get them every month right now, but I'm sure I won't get one for May

We usually go mid May but a new school schedule has pushed our trip up.
