ok new question:::::we need one::::: what is your favorite funny movie from any of the lotr movies?

i have a few...like frodo dancing....wow....galadriel turning crazy...wow.....alright so theres too many but ill type them later

i think the part where legolas slides down the stairs on the shield is hilarious...its also one of the few parts where he looks creepy, which is not a normal thing for him

Hi all... hubby and I went out for V-Day to dinner... we don't celebrate much so that was perfect

My favorite funny scene would have to be that one I mentioned about the body count and when Leggy goes to shoot the Urek Hai that Gimli is sitting on... "he was twitching"

I think the funniest part is in ROTK when Legolas takes down the Olifaunt and Gimili said it only counts as one, even though Legolas takes out like 50 guys that were riding it. lol

If I may join in...

I have two, I think:

1- When Gandalf catches Sam "eavesdropping"... When Sam says he hasn't heard anything except "something about a dark lord and the end of the world.

2- When Faramir says to Sam, "Who are you? His bodyguard?", and Sam replies "His gardener."

I can sort of see what you are saying though... but my favorite characters were Legolas and Gimli! I have to admit the ROTK with those two and Aragorn just had me laughing at some of their interactions

There are some really funny parts in all of the movies.

Like in the begining of The Two Towers when they are all running, and Gimli comes tumbling onto the screen. That part always makes me laugh.

As far as V-Day, I had some friends over and we had a great time, reveling in our singleness.

anyway, funny lotr parts:

Gimli (it goes something liek this): "ALmost certain death, little chance of succes, what are we waiting for?"
Pippin and Merry at Isenguard in the ROTK and pippin says something of salted pork. haha.
Gimli: "I'm on 2!"
Leggy: "13!"
Pippin and Merry dancing drunk in ROTK.
GImli: "That still only counts as one."
Frodo's laugh and the way he says gand-ALF!
Leggy: "Shall I describe it to you, or would u like me 2 get u a box?"
When Haldir dies. i just htink it's funny and extrememly dramatic.
Leggy: "You're late. You look terrible!"
WHen Sam goes to propose to Rosie.
Merry and Pippin themselves. they're funny. and frodo is funny to make fun of. anyway, this is getting long so i'll stop.

omg the funniest thing is frodo dancing in the beginning of fotr.....i dong go a second w/ o laughing at it.....o and how he just suddenly wakes up and hes like" GAINDALF! and they all start laughing sketchingly in rotk.....
