in real life merry(dominic monaghan) has a rather large nose and has a totally different face than pippin(billy boyd)

depplyinluv, I would guess that you *are* about the same age as Éothain (the guy you were talking about) or Haleth (the son of Hamling... the one with the sword and talks to Aragorn). Éothain and his sister were riding to Edoras, if you remember, after the town was being burnt.

The other way I can tell Merry & Pippin apart is I just close my eyes and listen to teh voice... Billy has that truly adorable accent

Speaking of accents... I was checking out something and I went to http://www.lordoftherings.net/ Well if you turn up your volume and listen you will hear a character saying "Welcome to the Lord of the Rings dot net" If you keep refreshing you'll hear tons of different people!!! Billy's is so cute and I have to admit Orlando's just makes me melt

I saw Billy on Sharon Osbourne's talk show this morning. He brought his guitar and sang, "Hit Me Baby, One More Time." He has a terrific voice! I LOVED when he sang in ROTK. Brought me to tears.

Sharon asked him why he didn't wear his hobbit feet!

My DD and I just took a road trip to Baltimore and listened to the soundtrack of ROTK. You can actually relive the movie in your mind (and soul) as you listen. The music is just incredible.

Just dropped by to let you know that it's just been announced that Sean Astin will be racing in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity race at the Long Beach Grand Prix next month. Very cool! This is a terrific race that pits a bunch of celebs against each other in souped-up Toyota Celicas, with a few pro drivers thrown in to make it exciting. Usually lots of crashes and missing car parts. Always a great time and very fun. If you live in the So Cal area, you can come down to the event Fri and Sat (4/16, 17) to cheer him on!

If I get credentialed for the event (which I should), I'll try to get a shot of Sean in his racing gear for you and post it here.
