OK, may I just say...that episode was amazing!! I do have some questions but I'll wait until the West Coast sees it to ask them!!

Did anyone watch the rerun of the last week's episode that aired before last night's new episode? It had the pop-ups with additional info. It identifies the woman lighting the candles and talking to Ben at ELOISE Hawking. I'm thinking that she is Daniel's mother and IS the young girl holding him hostage last night on the island. Her name was Ellie, right?

Just a little something that cracks me up: The woman who plays Eloise Hawking played a main charactor in the movie "The Others" with Nicole Kidman. Just thought that was funny.... Read into it what you like but in the movie she is actually dead but we don't know that until the end!

And yes, I'm assuming the young Eloise on the island with the young Widmore, is the same Eloise that Ben goes to talk to.

What a shocker last night - was not expecting it to be Jin!!! But soooooo happy!

I must admit, I was starting to think the episode was dragging a little, but it certainly picked up in the last 20 minutes. So obviously this is how Ben convinces Sun to come back to the island. I can't wait to see when Sawyer and the rest of the gang find Jin also. And it should be interesting to see Rousseau's backstory also.

And, I can't explain it but I really like Myles. Hope nothing happens to him. Did you all catch that comment Daniel made to him after Myles said he'd only been on the island for two weeks?

Miles is starting to grow on me. I think it is his little quips.

Ben's delivery is as usual Awesome. "He's my Lawyer." "No, Jack, she's right it was me." Simple easy lines, but somehow when Ben says them they are gold.

I also loved seeing Jin and Rosseau. That will be interesting.

My favorite scene was btw Locke and Sawyer after they passed the hatch and Sawyer saw Kate (reminding us how strong her bond with Aaron really is). Sawyer asks Locke why he didn't warn himself of what was coming. Locke's reply "Because I needed to go thru that pain to get where I am now."

And I can't help but wonder, could Jin be stuck in a different time than the rest of them? I don't know what made me think that, but I had that impression. I'll have to watch it again. My husband wants to go back to the early Rousseau episodes to see if she shows any recognition at having met Jin.

I'm guessing that Jin was close enought to the island that he is going through the flashbacks too, and he's now gone back to the time that Rousseau ended up on the island.

So the gal, Ellie, that had the gun to Daniel, if she's his mother, can we assume that Widmore is his dad? Seems coincidental that they are both young on the island at the same time.....

And why has the actor playing Ben never been nominated for an Emmy? I have loved him from the first time I saw him in Lost - he is definitely one you love to hate, and he plays it all so well!

Ben is the greatest!! Between Ben on Lost and Sylar on Heroes, we are definitely seeing the Villian is the Hero thing. I can't tell you how many times I have cheered these characters.

I know that the actor who plays Richard has been in tons of things, but everytime we see him, DH and I say "Batmanual!"

I'd bet that Widmore is his Faraday's father, he pulled up Eloise's address pretty darn quick when Desmond asked for it. And he is funding all the care for that girl Daniel messed up, though that is probably a CYA move more than anything. On that note, has anyone seen a close up/comparison pic of her and Ellie on the island? I know it would contradict the theory that she is his mother (or would it? Maybe she somehow ended up being in two places at the same time...) but they looked an awful lot a like from what I saw.

I'd also be willing to bet that Myles is the baby from the beginning of the other episode.

I can't wait to see Danielle's backstory! I am really interested in the sickness that made her kill them all. It couldn't have been the time travel illness, her descriptions didn't really fit the bill.

The beginning of the premiere shows the Dr. from the Dharma videos at home taking his turn getting up with the baby. Which to DH and I looked like a white baby with blonde hair and blue eyes! But, we were watching on the computer so the picture wasn't the best- can anyone confirm/deny that? I didn't bring it up before because I figured if it had been someone would have said something...

No, I think Jin is in the same time as the rest of the Losties on the island - remember when they were paddling that kayak and were getting shot at, and then another flash happened and suddenly it was night and raining? They made it to shore and Miles (or was it Charlotte?) found wreckage on the shore? Then we see the young Danielle and the other Frenchmen in the raft and they find Jin floating in the ocean. So Jin obviously was "caught" when the island moved and he's moving through time with the rest of them. Only he's separated from them and doesn't have Daniel to explain things to him.

Like someone else said, I can't wait to see how Jin meets up with Sawyer and Locke et al. And what happened to Rose and Bernard? They're jumping through time also? I thought for sure when they went back to the beach and saw "their" camp that they'd join up with Rose and Bernard again. Unless the folks who left the kayaks and wrecked the camp took Rose and Bernard?

I thought so too - and said practically the same thing!

And, as for the comparison between the young Ellie and Mrs. Hawkins. If you go to EW.com (Entertainment Weekly); on the right hand side, there is a still picture from their featured video that shows their faces side by side - they do look alike!

Okay we are connecting Miles back to possibly being Dr. Candales son and being on the island earlier, Mrs. Hawkings being on the island, and Widmore, but the question still unanswered is who is Charlotte. Daniel said something to the effect last night that the farther in the past you were on the island the more the time travel had an effect on you. Charlotte was the first to get nose bleeds, followed by Miles last night, and then Juliette. So that means that even though Miles said he had only been there two weeks he obviously was there much earlier and if this thing goes in sequince then Charlotte was there even before Miles.

The only kink in the whole theroy of how fast you get sick vs how long ago you were on the island is Desmond, because he got sick pretty quick. Also the guy Desmond met on the boat was already really gone and all he did was go near the island in the zodiac. Does that mean he had been on the island before as well?

It's been brought up that maybe Charlotte is Ben's daughter. Did Daniel say it depended on how long ago you were on the island, or how long you had been on it?

I'm sorry - my mistake; I thought that's who you were talking about - Ellie and Eloise. I'm not sure yet what to think of that girl in the bed. Geez - there's too many people on that show to keep up with!

And what about Juliette. How had she been on the island before?

Juliette was bought to the island by Ben years ago to help with the problem of all the pregnant women dying. I'm not sure of exactly how many years she's been there; I know it's been mentioned though.

I thought the theory about Charlotte was that she's the little girl that befriended Ben when he first came to the island as a child. Remember her? I think it was revealed that she survived the purge; but don't know what ever came of her.
