**~~***The Official June 2017 Thread***~~**

As another post said, the river ride is more family-friendly so it might be better if you are all about everyone experiencing things together. If your 11 year old is a thrill seeker then they'll definitely enjoy Flights of Passage. Remember you can do a rider switch (I'm assuming) and your 11 year old can actually ride it twice. It's really up to you. If you do Flights of Passage your 3 year old will never know the difference if the river is missed. From what I've heard, Flights of Passage will have a more interactive stand-by line though. We are facing the same issue in my family. We ultimately decided on going to AK two days and will do a different one each day.
We are doing 1.5 days so we can FP both, as well.

Stopping in to say hey and post our dates. :wave2:

We'll be in Florida from June 5-14 visiting family in my hometown (near Tampa) and doing WDW from the 6-10. We're staying offsite at a Disney Springs hotel because we wanted to be closer to that area.

It should be an interesting trip, we have some charaters in pur group. My 10 year old B/G twins, my husband, mother in law, MY mother and 12 year old brother. Phew...

Annnnnnd... I haven't made any ADRs but I am constantly looking for BOG openings. We like to just eat what we want, when we want, that's another reason we opted to stay near Disney Springs. Lots of good counter service options.

Now I'm just patiently waiting for our FP reservations.

My 5 year old had her well check today. I sorta knew this... but officially 44.5" barefoot. Woot! Not that she's actually brave enough for 44" rides... but she's in for Flights of Passage!

That's so exciting! My little one is right at 40". I've got my fingers crossed that he will pass the height checks when we go in June.

I just moved my San Angel ADR to 12:10.... and then looked at my touring plan and moved it right back to 12:30! I am obsessing too much! That is a late lunch for us and it's our first park day so it will feel like 3:30 to us. But.... we can have a late snack I guess. Hopefully it isn't a disaster!

I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but wouldn't it go the other way? I'm in CA, so I think we're on the same time zone based on your AZ screen name, and FL is 3 hours ahead of us. So, a 12:30 lunch would feel like 9:30am. I'm struggling a little bit with our first day dinner because it's scheduled for 6:35, which will feel like 3:35 to us.

Haha! You are right! Oops- haha! The kids did fine two years ago in Hawaii, so it should be fine... but I am over worried about the time change for the first 1-2 days!

Me too! We're going to Epcot our first day, so I have our FP starting at 11. I'm hoping by giving us a sleep in day at the beginning, the mornings won't be awful. But we'll be at Disney! So it might be fine.

SO, I've paid everything off, got everything booked, even bought some new leggings and tops (a couple from the shop parks app, 25% off!). Waiting is the hardest part!

Booked at POP 6/19-6/30. FP day is a week away. Starting to really get excited. I booked the Star Wars Gallactic Dessert Party, so excited for that. CANNOT wait!
We have 10 days until FP day - I can't wait to get those settled! I'm interested to see if I can book all of our days - we have a split stay of 15 days - but not all days will be in the parks - two years ago I had no problem booking two weeks of FP for a split stay at 60 days for our first stay - but I think things have changed in that area... I guess I'll have to wait and see! When are you doing the Star Wars party? We're set for it on the 27th! We love that party!

Woohoo for that discount right now - I want to order a new Epcot tank and look forward to using that 25% off!

I'm going with an up and attem strategy with an early night planned. It's hard to know which way to go!

I was able to book all my split stay FP at once.
