Argh! I keep checking to see if they have changed the hours for June... Why do they wait so long to update????

I'm not certain of the reasons behind it, but May hours were just extended last Friday (or was it the Friday before?). So I wouldn't think they would extend June for another few weeks.

I agree but because I have young children, I just kept the evenings/late nights very loose so we can cut out when we need to. I planned for MSEP and Wishes so I hope those don't change, and I don't think they usually do unless they add in a later MSEP but that wouldn't affect us anyway. I do feel your pain though!

I think its been two weeks because it was April 15th. So not really awhile now. And so that means around May 15th for June.

There were actually (at least) two May Operating Schedule updates in the last several months. There was one in mid-January where hours were extended for MK, DHS, & AK. Then there was another update in mid-April that extended DHS hours on certain nights and added SW fireworks those nights. The update also extended hours @ MK certain nights and added a 2nd MSEP those nights.

So you're both right.

I just booked a weekend splurge trip from June 9 -13 at POFQ for myself, my husband, and our 18 month old. I am so excited to be going back to my happy place in a little over a month!!! Crossing fingers for a soft opening for FEA!!! Also noticed that AK hours are open till 11pm???? I have never seen the park open that late!

Just got a notice that AM EMH for Epcot and DHS swapped for our week 6/4-6/11. I think it's Sunday and Thursday that flip-flopped. Doesn't affect us as those are our MK days, but I figured it might affect someone here.

Thank you! It is our week and we make our FP+ next week so this is a good change to know about

Not liking that. We picked HS for Thursday as we are doing Spirit of Aloha and figured we could get everything in by 6PM. Now it might be tight. Our reservations are for 8:30pm but we wanted to go back & change.

Did a practice packing job for DD today. Told her I was purging all her Disney customs/outfits from her closet! Packed them into a Rubbermaid tote. They only weighed in at 22lbs! I've still got plenty of space/weight for shoes, undergarments, etc. I'm getting so excited and it's getting harder to not tell her!!

Rivers of Light - not likely
Star Wars Fireworks - most probably the old ones or the week in between the old and new ones
Soarin - the old film if we are lucky

So very disappointed here as ALL the above were supposed to have been in place on/before Memorial Day (except for Soarin - that was just wishful thinking).
This is probably our last trip to WDW for some time and we were hoping to catch these new things. Any one else on our week feeling a little sad? I am sure once we enter EPCOT after arriving in Florida, all sadness will disappear. Just venting.
Now on to clothes trying on this week. It has been cool here in Rhode Island, so the lighter clothes are still in Rubbermaid containers. I groan at the thought of trying on the summer clothes. I need a gift certificate to Macy's for Mother's Day, just saying!

Trying to look at the positives, because I am also disappointed about FEA and Soarin. BUT...when I first started planning BTMRR was scheduled to be down for a refurb and that got postponed so we are happy happy for that! We have never seen any Star Wars fireworks so that's ok. And I am a little confused by the Rivers of Light, they have created a Jungle Book temporary replacement show? Will it be open? And the Tree of Life will have its night time lighting?
I think you are right, when we get there, we will immediately have that Disney Magic. We can visit Joy and Sadness if we are feeling gloomy.
