I used the sunpromo for Alamo in Tampa and got a 7 passenger mini van for $353.17 from June 11th-June 20th. It was cheaper for us to fly into Tampa then Orlando. I booked over a month ago so I rechecked but the price is the same. Can't beat it though...

ANyone else with another code? It shows 199 a week for a minivan but I need a car 10 days. So it is 199 plus 90 for 3 days plus taxes and is 346?? I booked about 3 months ago for 216 for 10 days...i don't think I am going to beat that but was planning on it!! these rates are nuts....

Does anyone have a code for the second half of June? I tried the Dollar site with the above promo code and it said that it was not valid for my dates. I'll need a minivan from 6/17 through 6/28. So far I have Alamo for those dates for $456 (includes taxes and all fees in that quote).

Just got a great rate for a minivan for 6/5-6/15 Tampa. Used code SUNPROMO and the ecoupon. But when I print out my confirmation it says XXXXXXXX instead of SUNPROMO next to the contract ID. Do you think I'll have a problem at the gate?

No I don't. That's what my reservation says too. Anyway I have a reservation using SUNPROMO and the ecoupon. However, I tried to check my rates by trying to make a new reservation using SUNPROMO and the coupon (also tried it without the coupon) just to check to see if rates changed at all. My total went from $456 to well over $1,000! Any idea why? Nowhere does it say that it is sold out.

I just got an email from thrifty and dollar. They have their specials thru june 21st on website. i don't know what you paid for your van but they didlist minivan on special

not for a minivan, but prices for my mid-size went down quite a bit. I'm at $128/week for mid-June. this is with Alamo, using SUNPROMO.

Wow ! I have a reservation for a minivan with Alamo using the SUNPROMO and $40 coupon codes and have a rate of $456 (total with all fees etc) for 11 days. When I check now using those same codes the total is $1,110! Looks like SUNPROMO works well now for smaller vehicles but no longer for minivans. Glad I have a reservation.

I have a 10 day rental from AVIS mid June midsize for 206 including taxes. Last year I had same deal for 160...i can't seem to break 200 out the door on 10 days..anyone else?

What dates are you finding for late June using SUNPROMO code? Mine seem to be sold out at all locations I try to use it at (MCO, Dolphin & CCC) picking up June 26th and returning either July 1 at Dolphin or July 6 at MCO.

I am using June 18 - June 28 using SUNPROMO. However I made the reservations 2 mos ago and got $456 (all fee/taxes included). I now am getting a $1,100 price quote. Anyone else find the same thing?

my dates are June 18-24. the base rate, before coupons/promos, is $130.xx for a mid-size car. After that, it jumps to $172 for a full size, then to over $400 for everything else. My original reservation was for a small SUV that had a $209 base rate with SUNPROMO.

I used Priceline's "name your own price" bidding setup and got a "mid-size" from Hertz car rental for $17.00 per day. You can't pick which company you rent from but for the price I'm not complaining. The total rental price for 7 days is $190.38 fees & taxes included. You can give them a try.

wow I am giving up hope...Last year priceline I got for 10 a day...This year I got a 10 day rental at 206 and that includes taxes....I don't see it dipping below 200 for this trip unfortunately...

Thats still a good price for 10 days rental (IMO). Considering what the companies are wanting these days. Not sure what size vehicle your looking for but I priced my bid from what I paid for last years trip.
