I booked Alamo for 6/15-22 with Sunpromo and a Bj's $20off coupon...got a minivan for $254 for the week. That's almost $50 better than Budget.

Thanks so much. We just changed to Alamo and the rate is great. I was concerned about additional driver fees but was advised by Alamo that as long as you show a spouse's drivers license indicating the same last name and same adress, Alamo will waive the additional driver fees. This is valid in 8 states, one of which is Florida.

The best deal that I am still finding for June is the Travelocity code that has been posted previously on these boards. I am looking for 10 days. My coupon code does not show up on my reservation, but I am hoping it will show when I pick up the car.

Me too! I have a 10 day June rental at Alamo for midsize for 232....Does Travelocity beat this?

Well, the Travelocity code is much higher by about $30 than what I have right now with National.

Hopefully things start to come down soon.

Hey all--thought I'd let you know that I got a pretty good deal today! I booked Budget through Costco Travel today AGAIN. Used the link for the save up to 20% and $30 off the rental. Well, when I put in my dates (6/2-6/13) it came up with the exact same rates that I've been getting. I have an intermediate reserved for $303 w/a free upgrade (to a standard) and a $25 coupon.

I look down through the rates and see that a PREMIUM is only a little more than a intermediate. A PREMIUM! So I completed the reservation. Now I'm getting a premium for the 11 days for $323 and then $30 off!

We were concerned that DH wouldn't be able to fit his golf clubs into the intermediate...that's why I looked for the free upgrade to standard. Now, we won't have to worry about it at all. Those clubs should definitely fit into a premium. I'll still continue to look and if that intermediate drops a whole lot between now and then, I'll go back and book it for the much cheaper cost. But right now, I'm not holding my breath!

So, I didn't really save money but I'm guaranteed a much nicer ride for just a few bucks more.

Anyone know of any good one way deals? We need to get a car from the car care center in WDW to FLL on 6/26. I don't want to have a car for our whole trip just need to get to FLL to meet up with family before we head out on our cruise.

I just saved over $300 on a minivan for Aug11-19th. With 2 car seats we paid about $485. With the codes, do I need to bring a coupon or anything with me when I go to pick up the vehicle?

No you do not need any paper since it is an ecoupon and the $25.00 will be applied once you return the vehicle and checkout.

I just used Priceline's name your own price and got a MidSize for June 22-29 for $208 (that includes taxes and fees) from Avis at MCO.

I got ALAMO at MCO for 6/11 - 6/21 for midsize for 207 with taxes via costco website. HOWEVER i keep rechecking for rate dip, sad to say it is over 300 now for same dates with same codes???
