All this dance recital talk makes me miss my dance days. For all you sad mommies, don't worry! I danced all through college as the captain of the dance team and my mom got to still come and watch, it just wasn't on a stage all the time Then, I was an instructor, and she got to come and watch my students dance!

My parents still come to my choral concerts - and I'm the teacher. ;-). They even came last month when our school did Peter Pan and I was a drunken pirate on stage to add some depth to the vocals. Lol. They are still proud as punch at age 76 and 75. Guess I'll always be their "little girl". Lol

We just got past a month of dance recitals - for DD6 and two nieces - 6 and 4. It was so much fun.
I was a majorette in high school and go back and twirl for homecoming almost every year and my parents are still in the stands too as they say the love the memories it brings back. My one niece's recital took place at our old high school so it was neat watching the next generation on stage where we performed.

My parents still come to see me sing every year in the benefit concert at the school where I teach! They also come to the student-run musical, which I'm coordinator of, and they come to the regular musicals, which I do hair and makeup for.
Now our MK day will be open until 1:00am! My kids will love it. I have a breakfast ADR the next day at 1900 Park Fare which I recently moved from 10:45am to 11:15am. I just might need to cancel this. With an 8:10am ADR the day before and if we close out the park at 1:00am I am not sure I will be able to get my crew up before noon. Decisions, decisions.

I think that's what we'll do! We are risking trying to get a 4th FP for the Lion King show on the 18, so if that doesn't happen then we'll know we need to switch around and use our FP at AK instead on the 23 Man! This is stressful, hahaha! I REALLY wish they'd let you park hop within the first 3!
Thank you! I can't believe I am at 11 days. Pulled the suitcases out last night since yesterday we made a trip to Target for trip related things. Tomorrow I need to review our plans so see if the schedule changes mean we need to adjust anything.
I'm getting so excited. Well, more overly excited than I was before. I keep looking at merchandise though and coming to the conclusion that I want oh, basically everything. I sprang for AKL and Harambe Nights so I will need to limit myself though haha. Having an AP is so new to me. Does the need to Disney like I am never going to disney again ever go away? It's hard to convince myself I can go a lot now!
On another note, my sister is looking into planning her family's first trip, and I am helping. SO EXCITED for them!
