*** The Official July 2014 thread, join us won't you? ***

Your welcome! I'm very excited to try it all out... and we just figure we will go with the flow on this trip... hopefully figure a few things out so that when we go in July with peak crowds we will have a better idea as to how to attack it all! Plus we have a BOG lunch FP which is a separate reservation from our 3 FP+'s that day... hopefully they will keep that around for July!

Funny! I'm debating doing something similar. I really want to go down for a long weekend for the Princess Half and do the 5K. I have an AP, so it really wouldn't be all that expensive. That way we can also do a FP+ test run and prepare ourselves more for July ;)

With our trip in October, I feel a little more prepared in how everything works, but I just feel uncertain about whether we will need to park hop or not. October there was really no need to leave the park.

Hello! Just discovered this thread...we are traveling to the a Wilderness Lodge July 28-August 2! Thank you for adding us! Excited to book our ADRs on the 29th-so hard to wait. We have been to Disney in April during spring break and in November during Thanksgiving week...how do crowds and weather compare?

:welcome: to our group. I will get you on our front page tonight! Hope you get all your ADR's. I am glad to see others have already been answering your questions as I have been unavailable this past weekend, but I am back now.

Add us to the list. Staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter July 20-27. First time for my two DD. So excited! Booking ADRs tomorrow.

:welcome: to our thread, glad you could join us! I will get your information on our front page tonight. When you get your ADR's and touring plan together, please post them and I will add them to those posts as well.

I got an email today from my travel agent and she was able to get ALL my ADR's and the farthest from my desired time was 35 minutes, but most were the exact times we wanted. I posted them on the ADR post already.

:offtopic:

I was offline this whole weekend to give all my time time to my daughters gymnastics team. They had a home meet with 6 sessions and a total of 365 competitors. I do the score imput for the team. I worked 5 of the sessions and then I was mom for the session she competed. I am super proud of her as she qualified for the PA States Competition for levels 4 & 5 that will take place in Warren, Pa the first weekend in April. So proud of her and her teammates, they had a great meet. My daughter won 3 ribbons (3rd place for vault, 3rd place for beam, and 4th place for floor!) I worked a total of 30 hours this weekend, thank goodness I had off from school today!!! :woohoo:

I have just caught up with the thread and added the new members and updated ADR's. So those posts should be all updated now, if yours is missing, please let me know and I will fix my error!

We are staying at POFQ the same days as you. I hope I am able to get all of my ADRs tomorrow morning. Good luck on yours.

Michele

All the negative FP+ talk is making me very nervous about our JUly trip.:scared:

I am a little nervous also because I don't know what to expect. This trip I decided to stick with base tickets. Purchasing park hoppers and scheduling FP+, and ADRs would really stress me out! We will probably do rope drop and our FP+ later in the day.

Definitely a bit worried at the moment. Just set the computer up for tomorrow morning and thought I would see which way to load ADRs would be faster. The site does not seem to be working at the moment. Hope it's fixed before 6:00 am tomorrow!

Does anyone know if the MK FastPass+ options are tiered like the other parks? And if so, what are the ones in the top tier?

Trying to figure out if we need 2 full days at MK (Saturday/Sunday) or if we do Friday 1/2 day and Sunday full day...Also, trying to find out what's included in the Family Magic Tour with the new FastPass+ system in place...I know they used to do 1-2 fast passes i thought?

And is the rider swap still available at certain rides? Would all 3 (both parents and kid that's riding twice) need FastPass+ for the ride then?

What princesses are at FairyTale Hall? Trying to decide between a meal at Akershus or meeting the princesses at MK...

I expect long lines!! lol. But, it's Disney. My kids are older this time and I like to think that the meltdowns are long gone by now. My DD8 is a self appointed princess.

We are rope drop and EMH people anyway. Nothing will change that. We booked CL and don't eat that much for lunch, so the afternoon offerings will be great for us. I have 2 ADR's planned for dinner, 1 BF on the day we leave.

Good Morning Everyone

WOW!!! - Everyone is very busy with planning.:cool1: It's exciting to know our days are getting closer and closer. Our minds are going 100 miles per hour trying to figure out the right plan...

DD and I are super excited..also Lucy and her Mother are talking about it everyday.

One side of FairyTale hall is Rapunzel/Snow White and the other side is Cinderella/Aurora. If you want to see them all, you have to stand in line twice.

As of now, Fast pass + tier system is DHS and Epcot.

Here is a good link by mesaboy on the tier system and fast pass priorities. Fast pass + Attraction priorities

Are you guys sticking with Beach Club now that Lucy and her mom are coming? I know you said you weren't sure before.

I still have 99 days to go before I can make FP+ reservations. The wait is killing me!

Yeah for flying! :cool1:

I wish we could fly this year, but with trying to move, we just can't afford the luxury. Oh well. Can't complain since we can still go on the trip, right?

I got up for 6am this morning to make my ADR's. I was able to get everything I wanted and only had to change the times on 3 of them. I did not expect to have such a hard time getting dinner at Chef Mickey's and Whispering Canyon Cafe for 6:00pm. Even though I got everything I wanted, when I finished I started questioning my choices. I'm not sure about keeping 50's Prime Time. We might cancel and do counter service instead. Here are our ADR's.

7/20 Chef Mickey's 6:20pm
7/21 Biergarten 12:30pm
7/22 Whispering Canyon Cafe 6:25pm
7/23 Cinderella's Royal Table 8:10am
7/23 Crystal Palace 6:30pm
7/24 1900 Park Fare 10:45am
7/24 Planet Hollywood 6:00pm
7/25 50's Prime Time 12:05pm
7/26 Tusker House 12:45pm
7/26 Liberty Tree Tavern 6:30pm
7/27 Ohana 9:30am

I'm glad today was a snowday and I could go back to bed. Now I will need to find something else to occupy my time with.

You are absolutely correct...As long as we are all going to Disney... that is what it's all about.

Your ADR's looks great.... Well.... You could occupy your time by watching Disney You Tube Videos.:lmao:

Also, thinking of booking dinner at Chef Mickeys for the night of our arrival. I thought I read about an observation deck in the Contemporary for Wishes. Is that true? Will we have access to it if we eat there that night? TIA.

Yes. The observation deck is on the same floor as the stores. You'll be able to see wishes with music piped in
