. I have more reservation about glitches and RFID problems than with FP+.

I guess that's really what I'm worried about. Glitches. I haven't been to WDW in almost 20 years so I have been reading up on everything for about a year now. Then, they go and change everything right at the time I'm going! I don't like being the newbie/guinea pig with all this technology!
 
I talked to a cm today and she asked me if I had customized my magic bands. I told her that was not an option for me. She said we'll hang on and then she said it will not show until your package is paid in full

Not sure why - I'm 71 days out and not yet paid in full and was able to start customizing yesterday. It sounds random based on what I've read on here!
 
I would just call them. I've had lots of problems with the website when trying to make adr's and reservations, getting kicked off and lots of error messages. I just think it's easier to sit on hold for 20 minutes and talk to someone and get everything taken care of. I also did the online chat the other night while I was signed in to my Disney experience and that worked well too. I just get too frustrated with the website sometimes.

Same thing happened to me - my husbands tickets were missing. Called them and it was fixed in minutes.
 
I called the other day because my mother's linked ticket wasn't showing. The problem was she was on my friends list. All I had to do was switch her to family and check the box that says "this person frequently travels with me." Now we're both showing and I can make our FP reservations when they become available...which hopefully will be soon!
 

I am feeling so frustrated! I cannot link my tickets to the reservation. It goes through the motions, but the page that says "assign tickets to each person" only has a drop down for one person. There is no way to "assign" the 4 day to my daughter, the 6 day to me. I am hearing others going during my time already customizing their MB, and I can't even get the darn tickets in there properly. Anyone have any ideas? :confused3 I would be so grateful!

Give them a call. My tickets weren't showing up correctly online so I gave Disney a call and it was fixed within a day.

We made a room only reservation a few months ago and added tickets a few weeks ago. We still haven't paid off our room yet but our grey magicbands appeared around 77 days out with the colors showing up a few days later.

I am just repeating what I was told today. We have tickets linked but nothing showing for magic bands yet. We are at like 90 days out though
 
My husband called last night (I lost my voice!) to ask about our ticket problem. Although there is a place to enter your ticket confirmation number, it will not work if multiple tickets were purchased. He said I have to wait until they arrive in the mail, then enter them in separately. I guess I have to work on my patience! ::yes::
 
I just called to fix our tickets yesterday as well. After entering the numbers online, I got a confirmation and error message on the same page. Even the tech guys was confused as to where the tickets ended up, but was able to fix it in about 10 minutes. Being on hold did take a while, but I'm much more relaxed now that it's fixed!

And I agree, what a year to choose to go! :) Thought this would be a "quiet, January trip"... Got to keep life interesting I guess ;)
 
Created a PTR!! I have no clue what I am doing but it is fun to talk about our plans!!
 
Woo hoo! Got our tickets in the mail today!! :cool1:

Linked 'em up to MDE and hopefully in 11 days I'll be able to make my FP+ selections. (that will be my 60 day mark)
 
These magic bands are just causing me major headaches. I'm booked under a cast member room only ressie. My best friend is using his free CM tickets to get us into the parks but that can't be linked to room reservations as of yet, so technically we don't have park admission, and therefore no access to the bands or FP+. I'm worried about what will happen if regular FP is eliminated by early January. However, my brother has autism so we will be using the new DAS and I'm looking at how that can help our touring plans as well.
 
so glad i found this thread! i'm taking my family for the first time from january 24th - february 2nd. i've been plenty of times, but my family always seems to miss out, so this will be so much fun for them. i'm turning 21 (epcot, anybody? :drinking1 ) and my brother is turning 13. we've booked all of our birthday adrs and our stay at pop century! cannot wait pixiedust:
 
We arrive Jan 26th and our magic bands are customized to be pink :)
We don't have access to fastpass+ yet though :(
