We are doing it on the 26 @ 8. I tried for the early breakfasts so it doesn't eat up too much park time and my parents aren't going to those with us so they are just going to meet us at the park (unless DH and my mom trade places at a few of them). I am following easywdw for all my dates and just picked his most popular each day. On the 27 we are taking an off day to rest

I was going to do all early breakfasts too but decided to give DBF a break lol. Its his first time and keeps saying "its a vacation do I have to get up at 6 for breakfasy by 8?" He obviously does not understand Disney yet. : ) I have him getting up for 3 early breakfasts

I want CP as well for 1/29 but my ADRs don't open until 7/31.

Haha! We have 3 also. 2 are at MK and then H&V. With us being at BLT we can walk to both of them at MK, and the one at HS we are going to have to figure out what to do or just have my parents drop us off .

Trust me all men are the same, my DH does not want to get up early on vacation but I keep telling him the kids are only young once and we won't get this experience back with them. Both of ours are still little enough to believe in the magic. That is also why I gave us a free day. I have BBB scheduled at 10 so he can sleep in and go see her doing that and then he can go back and sleep or swim or relax.

Wow, a lot of CP fans here. I've done it once and that was enough for me. I'm not a huge fan of the Hundred Acre Wood gang.

With a 3 year old and an almost 2 year old we try to do what they want. I asked my daughter where she wants to go and then book those meals for her to meet the characters. Lunch/dinner is parents choice

How are your kids around the characters? My fear is that DS 2.5 is going to be scared of he characters. He loves mickey and gang tho so i guess it could go either way

We went in may. Dd was 2 months shy of 3. She LOVED them! She could not get enough of them. Ds was a month over 1 and scared to death of them! He didn't even like the princesses, only from a pod distance. I am hoping by January he will be better, if not for the character meals we will have him stay with the grandparents and meet us after breakfast.

Some kids will be fine if you hold them and put yourself between them and the character. I know at Tusker house that was the only way we could get ds to even be in the picture.

Made all of my ADRs this morning for our Jan 26-Feb 1st trip. Had no problems with the website booking, jumped on right at 6 and was done by 6:30. Just had to call at 7 for the pirates and pals cruise.

We have one evening kind of open that we may spend at downtown Disney. I booked a dinner at house of blues for that night just in case. Any opinions on that place?

Also, does anyone have the direct number to T-Rex on hand? I might want to try and change HOB to TRex since we've never managed to get there.

YAY!!!! Today's our 180-day mark and I made our dining reservations this morning! (3am PST...ugh!) Had a little trouble - tried both the old and new sites as recommended on another thread. Old site didn't work. New one worked after I logged out and logged back in...may have been a slight difference in the time settings on the computer I used vs. Disney's clocks...?

Got an 8:05 CP res! I'm sooooo happy! It was all worth it for that. I surprised my mom this morning by telling her which restaurant we were going to and she was very pleased.

To the PP...I haven't been to the House of Blues in Florida, just the one in CA at DTD. But for what it's worth, the food was good. I had jambalaya and although the presentation of it was nothing fancy...a little underwhelming...the food was very tasty and filling. I just about wanted to lick the plate! (but I didn't, don't worry) I went on a weeknight so there was no live entertainment so to me, it didn't seem like anything really special or "Disney"...it seemed like just a normal restaurant, only in DTD. If you're fine with that, try it. No pixie dust, but a fairly good meal.

Haha! It is so agonizing! I think you are overlapping some of our days I think we have 2 BOG reservations and we are gonna cancel one. If you can't get on o e of your dates let me know. I know it is for later I our trip like the28 and the 29
