Going 1/23-1/31! Staying at POFQ. Hoping for a discount at some point but ::shrug::. Just booked all my ADR's this morning and got everything we wanted! Sooooo many character meals!

I couldn't even get the system to let me book online. I tried both the old site and the new, cleared my cache, whatever, it wouldn't let me get the +10. I had to do it over the phone at 7.

I kind of get it but its such a small, underdeveloped idea that its hard to see how this could be an annual campaign.

I totally forgot that this threat existed! Hope everyone got their ADRs! I assume that the vast majority of the thread has hit their 180 day mark. I keep adding and rearranging mine since more restaurants are still available--except for BoG of course...I've only been to WDW in July so going in January will be a change, hopefully for the better!

As I catch up on posts, I have a question: if I've already booked my room, reserved tickets, etc. could I still add-on the Play/Stay/Dine once it's released? I know that the LM rooms at AoA tend to miss out on free dining because it's so new--is that the case with this promotion as well? I wasn't originally considering the dining plan but I might if this offer applies to me and seems worth it.

Yes you can. Also, If you put your deposit down with the disney visa, you will get to adjust your package before the general public (as that's how they tend to do it).
Usually January promos are released to the general public in early Oct.
I've booked my package with dining already because I know I'll be using it anyway. I know the stay, play, dine won't be a huge discount but it would save me about $20 bucks per night after the upgrade fee.

LM rooms , campsites & 3 bedroom Villa's will be excluded..

With P/S/D each adult will end up paying kids prices for the Dining plan and park tickets. You pay rack rate for your rooms.

I don't think so, I think the discount only applies to the standard dining plan. If you upgrade to the deluxe you will be paying adult prices for the adults.

Gotcha! It is so very confusing! I guessing a ro discount is going to work out better for us then. 4 adults, I child and 1 infant.

At BLT a room discount is very likely to be a better deal, especially if its significant, like 30%.

We are all finalized!! We will be at the world from Jan 13 - 23! We are staying offsite at Bonnet Creek for 10 nights.

I just got back today from a 2 week vacation of camping. It was glorious, except for having to get up 6 mornings at 6:00 am to call in my ADR's. It was worth it though as I got everything we wanted and then I would go back to bed until 9:30 - 10:00...kids camping equal very tired kids who like to sleep in!!!

We got all the times we wanted to:

Rainforest Café - AK - 1st day in park and my son's 8th bday
CRT Dinner
Garden Grill Dinner
Ohana Dinner
Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner
Chef Mickeys Dinner

Still need to book the flights, but am waiting for the price to drop a bit before I do that. Will book Discovery Cove this week. We are also heading to Tampa / St. Petes for Jan 24 - 27 and have a jr ocean front penthouse suite booked. My kids will love that as they have never seen the ocean before.

Sounds like you have a great trip! Discovery Cove is on my bucket list!
St. Petersburg is beautiful, especially the Clearwater area. You couldn't have picked a better place to go for your children's first ocean experience!
