Is there a way to figure out what the P/S/D discount would be for your family? Mine is similar to what the example is but not exact. Are you getting a certain percentage off?

OMG yes! We are going to Publix to get stuff for breakfast and lunches. Our little guys can play together my ds will be 21 months

I think we are all doing CP 1/29 together as well. I got a 8:25, it's not 8:05 but its still a first sitting so I am pretty sure if we get there earlier we'll get seated. We are going to use Kelly's Personal Disney Shopper. Not going to get a a car this trip.

I see there are a lot of people going the end of January and I have been loving the idea of a Private Illuminations Dessert Party since I read about a group that did this. Anyone else in the 1/27-1/31 week interested in participating? I would need a minimum of 20 people, I figure ages 3 and up would count. The cost would be about $22/pp but wouldn't have a final until I got a commitment count and spoke with a coordinator. Depending on the number who respond the better the pricing for all. I posted this on the face book page, if you haven't joined yet the link is in the first post of this thread. If interested go to the Facebook post and respond if you are interested, number in your party and the number under 10 and the best night(s) for your party. If you are not on Facebook quote this post and I will find you.

Yup for CP! We drive since we live a little over 2 hours away. I also coupon and hate paying full price for anything

Ughhh I am having trouble getting a Be Our Guest and a T-Rex reservation! But its still months off, I'm thinking there will be cancellations or something and maybe I'll still be able to get us in....I'll just keep checking.

T-REX makes you call the restaurant directly since they don't release many ADR times to Disney. I don't have the number on me but I'm sure someone here does.

Very similar, they only do this for private parties.

Yeah, we'll eat muffins and just look at the castle from the outside. My real draw was to eat inside the castle - my sister loves the castle and I thought it would be a nice treat. But it's not worth $116 for 2 people to eat breakfast.

Can you tell I'm a newbie at pricing the character meals?

That us what it charged me for 2 adults and 1 child. Well at least I hope it charged for my daughter. She will be 3 when we go and I put that on our reservation

DS wants to eat at the castle again, but to me once was enough. It is neat to say we ate in the castle but the food was not good enough to pay $150 again....FOR BREAKFAST!!

Agreed! I suppose its something every Dis'er should do someday, and we've also had that someday, back when it was King Stefan's Banquet Hall. That was cool because of our oldest DS named Stephan (but pronounced the same). We caught it right before they changed it to Cinderella's Royal Table, Disney being tired of having to explain why it was named for a Sleeping Beauty king. We actually prefer the meal and castle setting at Akershus.
