We are doing a split stay at three hotels. We also got 3 sets of magic bands so we added different names on the inside and made them different colors. We are on our honeymoon so we have mr. Mrs. And bride and groom

That is soooo cute!!!! Congrats!!!

I think with any new check in they give you a new set of bands. But I've heard that you can use either of them so just pick 2 different colors and you can probably switch them up to match what you're wearing! Lol.

What dates are you going Sarah? I keep hearing rumors of rides closing but I can't find info on it. We are going on Jan 25th and I've heard no 3pm parade at MK, Splash (shows on Disneys list), FOTLK at AK and no parade at AK. Didn't Ariels Grotto just opened why would they have to refurb it already?

We will be there Jan 1 - Jan 5. Apparently the news of Ariel's refurb on the MDE site is a glitch. That's what I've read on the Dis FB page, so I am very happy about that. I did read on All Ears that Splash will be down for refurb, so that is most likely true.

Last year Splash Mountain was down in January for refurb also. I think it is an annual refurb.

DH decided our trip to NOLA from 12/13-12/16 is too close to our Disney trip, so we're cancelling that trip and adding another day to WDW. We will now be there from 12/31-1/7. Oh boy! 46 days to go!

I second this! I would love purple over pink. Maybe once this thing gets settled they will expand their color choices.

I think they definitely will expand the colors.
Is be okay with an aqua or turquoise well, and purple lol

I booked my trip and picked my MagicBands last week! I should be able to make FP+ picks on Wednesday! I'll be at the Boardwalk Inn 1/19-1/24!

This will sound strange, but I'm bummed that they extended the hours on Jan 3rd at MK. It is now 8-1am. I booked us a breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table for pre-park opening at 8 am but now the park will be open. I tried to switch the reservation to our other MK day and of course, no dice. I was wanting it to be a special introduction to the parks, etc. get some nice pictures on main-street and have a leisurely breakfast before park opening. Now, I know my kids will want to be out exploring instead of sitting down at a $300 breakfast! So much for planning your ADRs 180 days in advance. Grrr!

I know this isn't much help now, but for future reference, make sure you look at last years operating calendar on your next trip when planning. That will give you a good indication of what the calendar will probably look like when you actually go. The calendar that was available when we were 180 days out is always a lot different than what it will end up. In Jan 2013, MK was open 8am-1am Jan 1-4th..

That happened to us once before too. I think we cancelled the ADR at CP if I remember correctly.

52 days until Disney World and I just found out yesterday that I am going to Disneyland (first visit ever) on January 25, 2014!!!!

Agreed on the tiered FP+ for EPCOT. It really confused my boyfriend as to why I chose the attractions I chose.
