We were able to personalized our bands this weekend too. But I was a little confused, we are doing a split stay and they want us to personalized two sets of bands...one for each resort. Does that make sense? I thought the whole purpose of Magic Band was to link everything together and not need to have two sets of bands/room keys?![]()
I think with any new check in they give you a new set of bands. But I've heard that you can use either of them so just pick 2 different colors and you can probably switch them up to match what you're wearing! Lol.
We hit our 60 day mark today so I logged into to make our FastPass+ selections.
I gotta say the process is a little wonky and seems intentionally difficult. Instead of just listing the rides with the available times, this process of picking three that you're interested in and then them forcing upon you choices for times seems counterproductive.
Sure, for uninitiated, I can see making some general recommendations, but there should be an easier way for the rest of us to be more straightforward about it. For example, for our first day I select Space Mountain, Enchanted Tales, and Buzz Lightyear. Then it gives me four options for times it recommends that encompass all three rides... none of which really fit to what I want to do. So now I have to accept one of these pre-configured groups and then go back into the system and reconfigure each one separately.
What a waste of time. Just let me do that from the beginning.
Not only that, but then it recommends times that directly overlap with dinner reservations I have setup already. I know that because on that same page it says "This overlaps with your dining reservation". If it knows that... then why does it even bother recommending that time??

I understand how it's inconvenient for you, but I would imagine that for most people, it is more convenient to just pick the three rides and then have the times pre-selected, rather than being forced to individually select each time.
I'm so bummed. I just read that Ariel's Grotto will be closed for refurb while we are there![]()
