I don't know how you guys can keep the secret! You are much stronger than me!!

We have been talking about going to Disney pretty regularly for the last month. Even my DD2 has been packing her suitcase DAILY for the trip!! Of course her packing is just loading up all her toys into a pillow case

But at least she is packing ... unlike most of our DH's!

Haha - my just-turned-2-DD is still young enough that I talk to her about it all the time without fear of her finding out, but with the older ones it is so tough. What makes it harder right now, is that for whatever reason, our DD8 keeps talking about WDW and that just makes keeping straight faces even harder!

My DH has had a CRAZY busy work week so, while I understand why he still hasn't started packing his stuff, I will admit that it's making me NERVOUS!!!! I need help...

So, I finally finished up work. It was such a rough day and I had so much trouble concentrating. I worked an hour longer than I had planned to, to make sure everything was done, but it shouldn't have taken me that long But at the end, I set my work email to I will be away on vaction, so that's always a good way to end the day

I totally sympathize with all of you whose husbands haven't packed yet. Mine won't be home until 6:30-7ish tonight (and that's if he leaves on time, which rarely happens) and hasn't packed or set aside anything! He promised me he'll do it tonight and not wait until tomorrow morning, but we'll see about that

For all those keeping a suprise, I hope your suprise goes well and I hope everyone has a great trip!!!!! I'll probably be on late tonight or early in the morning (I'm sure I won't sleep well ) but want to say it incase I don't make it back on before we leave!!!

This week is the slowest week ever! I'm just ready to go to Disney already.

All Monday I thought it was Tuesday, a couple of times yesterday I really thought it was Wednesday, and today I've caught myself doing things that I "scheduled" myself doing on Thursday.

Friday can not get here soon enough!

Tomorrow morning we leave for Disney Just at the right time too as a snow storm is being predicted for Thursday afternoon thru Friday. Husband lined up someone to plow our driveway while we are gone if there ends up being a lot of snow. My husband is pretty much packed its my younger daughter who is waiting until the last minute. (She is 19 so can't pack for her)

Yay for everyone leaving for The World in the next few days! Two weeks from right now I'll be arriving at BLT....

Congrats to those leaving this week and I can't wait to hear about the surprises.

We are surprising our granddaughters and it has been very hard to keep the
surprise these last few days. We have 12 more days to wait.

I have started putting things in suitcases but still a lot to do the last few days.

So how was your trip?? Highlights??

It was great, but soooo cold. It started to warm up when we left on the 6th. Loved, loved, loved Port Orleans Riverside. I almost wish we had not spent so much time in the parks.

The crowds at the park were crazy! We had a plan and used fast passes as much as possible. We saw all 4 parks in 3 days! We also went to Universal IOA for WWOHP - It was amazing!

We ate breakfast in the rooms and just snacked our way through the day using kiosks and counter service. We did the Biergarten at Germany in Epcot for our big meal. The food was tasty and the beers were huge. DS2 loved the German Music. Not sure if I would do it again due to the price.

I think it will take a few weeks to recover!

Sorry to hear it was cold. Glad you love Port Orleans Riverside. We went there years ago and loved it, too. Soooo relaxing.

It's funny, b/c everyone is saying how January is the slow season but people are coming back reporting it is still crowded! I wonder if there is a slow season anymore!

Wow -- lots of parks in few days -- you definitely need a vacation!

I still want to go to Germany for lunch or dinner ... DH isn't a fan of German foods (except the meat), so he keeps saying no...

3 Days until we are sailing on our first ever cruise

10 Days until we are checking into my favorite resort. (BCV)

Still so much to do with VERY little time, but for some reason the last few days seems to be going vvveerryy slowly

I can't believe the time has finally come. After months and months of planning and waiting we're down to a 2 hour wait until our airport ride gets here. By this evening, we will be at Disney World!!!

DS & I couldn't sleep well so we got up pretty early and got showered and dressed, so all of our last minute stuff (brushes, toothbrushes) is all packed. The only thing left for us to do is sit around and wait (or read the dis boards ) DH is still in bed asleep but I can't believe he's able to sleep through DS. DS is so excited and bouncing off of the walls!!!

I did online check in this morning.

Still can't believe it is getting so close to our trip! It seems like just yesterday I booked and that was back in July!

Hoping for good weather, too, but didn't even think about the possibility of having warm weather until just a few days ago. I'm sure we will be either dressed too warmly or not warmly enough at some point in our week.

Thank goodness for Columbia fleece jackets and capris.

LOL I think I have that too! I have 2 suitcases packed w/2 more to go! I finally got my DH to 'pack' last night and needless to say, my clothes aren't even in the suitcase yet! Now all this crowd and weather watching is getting me nervously excited!!

LOL! At least you ladies have started packing. We haven't even pulled down suitcases. Think I have a busy 24 hours ahead, today is laundry day.

On a different note - weather in Boston SUCKS today. Rainy, windy, cold and miserable. Makes me excited that much more to go to warm and sunny FL!

Hope none of our Jan peeps have been impacted by the storms in the midwest and northeast today and everyone made it out safely!
