I laugh when I see that old pic of him on the AI website! He said that he lost 10 or 15 lbs. on the show and you can tell! Definitely better now!

It's funny to look back at some of the pictures from the beginning of the season to now. I think he had the most dramatic makeover out of the Top 12. Maybe it was just because he spent more time on the show! I still thought he was cute then...but every week another woman at work would say that he had grown on her!

I don't know...I think the pudge is nice.

So apparently fans over on the american idol david cook board have been posting a lot saying they wanted DC to say "plethora" on t.v. A bunch of them think he reads the boards. So today in his Mike and Juliet interview they did say plethora and now they all think it was intentional and that it was a shoutout to them.

But come on...is plethora really that uncommon of a word?

They are now posting that they want him to say idyllic. So we shall see. But again, idyllic isn't that uncommon either. They should pick something really weird for him to say if they honestly want to know if it's a shoutout to them.

I do not get the fuss over this guy's vocabulary. It actually seems quite typical compared to the people I know.
Can't say he has ever once uttered a word that had me running to a dictionary to look up the meaning.

I think some people are just young or easily impressed.

I want to hear him say "befuddle", just because it makes me laugh every time I hear it.

I get the fuss. I RARELY hear cool young men think it's a PLUS to sound intelligent and use words CORRECTLY like he does.

Then again, YOU live in California and I'm in JOEjah.... or, as I call it, the state of WHATTHEHECKDIDHESAY???

I have a degree in English and I'm a complete word nerd. So is my son. My Mom used to say he NEVER uses the word you expect him to use, which is a lot like David does. He say indubitably when most young men say True Dat...
