Cal (the upside down blonde) is alive and found (again)

The girl with the tats body was discovered by the bartender, Nikki.

Uncle Marty, the priest, and the girl with the dog were not found yet.

All I could think at the end of the show was, thank goodness the dog made it!

Still not sure on this show. It is pretty cheesy, but I've also jumped a few times at some of the surprises. I'll keep watching cause now I'm hooked just enough that I need to know who the killer is!

So is it that just one of the wedding people gets killed each week? Last night it was a bridesmaid, the first week it was Uncle Marty? And then there are extras like the priest?

Anyone else bothered by the fact that Cal lost that ring and surely one of them will get killed so she'll never know?

I think the killer is doing something with the bodies and that's why no one has found themm.

But this makes me wonder about the tattoo girl...was she killed by the killer and left to be an assumed sucide or is it something else completely.

The only thing I really don't like is that there are far too many characters!! I don't know anyone's name! But when they die, I guess I'll care less.

And they showed WAY too much in the preview for the rest of the season...

I had assumed most of the deaths would occur before the wedding, but we jumped 3 days between episode 1 and 2...there are only 3 days left before the wedding.

Oh and the bride just believing her jerk of a dad drove me nuts. Hope he gets killed in a fun way! (don't say THAT very often!)

ITA about the dog! lol It was ugly, but you don't mess with a dog.

DH pointed that out last night. The first 2 deaths were island people last night, while both deaths last week were mainland people. ANd then the blond chick got it...so who knows?!

I don't think it's anyone from the mainland...maybe tattoo chick really was seeing the old killer? Or maybe Abby's dad was the real killer back then and is now too? That would suck, I like that actor!

And tattoo chick KNEW this and that's why she wasn't crazy when she said she saw the real killer.

Something tells me we're not going to need to think quite as hard on this as we do with Lost - thank goodness!!!

You might be on to something there - Abby said he was the one who killed John Wakefield so maybe the father did the other killings and killed John Wakefield to get the suspicion off himself. Yep, that was my thought process too...we know far too little about what really happened in the past.

I really think there will be more than one killer...but the previews seemed to point to one major killer...but I bet at least one person will be a copycat. There's just too many people/deaths for someone not to take the opportunity...

Does anyone else HATE the Shane storyline? Both of the characters are really annoying, and I think it's a rather obvious red herring (anyone else ALWAYS think of Pup Named Scooby Doo when you think of Red Herring??)

I was really convinced it was going to be Cal last night, just a hunch and I was wrong LOL oh well!

So there are others who suspect the Sherrif has more to do with the killings than the story is telling so far? For some reason I'm just a little suspicious of him, and Abby.

I hope we get some more background info on Abby, other than that her mother was one of those killed. Like, why hasn't she spoken to her dad since she left. KWIM? I like her though, and really don't think she has anything to do with it - she's too spooked herself.

Of course, since this show does have some slasher tendencies, don't get too attached to the bride!!!

My thought is that in the end, Henry and Abby will still be around cause they seem to be the only two that are really "good" people in my book. Or maybe the fisherman? Oh, who knows!!!! I'm already overthinking this crazy show!

OOOOOOhhhh and why did Uncle Marty have the gun and the huge chunk of money? Seemed to me he was sent to kill someone, maybe the bride's jerky dad?! I hated to see him go so quickly. He seemed to be one of the only characters to really have Henry's back...

They are way more liklely to kill people we don't like than ones we do...plus from the previews we know that near what looks like the end, there is a big group of the good guys left (not including the bride's father...hehehehe...)

One of the videos showed where Robin's boyfriend, Brent, and his old college friend, Ben Wellington (the boat propeller victim from HI), are being tortured by two people - nicknamed Dangerous Wreck and Cheshire Cat on Harpers Globe. So there may be more than one killer, though CC seems more voyeuristic, while DW is sadistic

One of the videos showed where Robin's boyfriend, Brent, and his old college friend, Ben Wellington (the boat propeller victim from HI), are being tortured by two people - nicknamed Dangerous Wreck and Cheshire Cat on Harpers Globe. So there may be more than one killer, though CC seems more voyeuristic, while DW is sadistic

I just logged on to that site today. It's a little difficult to catch up with since there are several videos to watch. I may do that here in a bit though.

I'm not so sure about this. I think most people liked Uncle Marty, and the bridesmaid wasn't really unlikeable (but like I said, at least the dog lived! ). I think they will shock us each week. Like last night I kept expecting Cal to get it, and he's still around. And the poor priest!!! My prediction for next week..... the heavy groomsman. No reason, just my guess.

I also kept wondering why no one is finding these bodies. Since they keep showing that quick scene during the earlier murders with all the bodies hanging from a tree, do you think at some point the survivors will come across a tree and see these missing bodies hanging on a tree like before? And, then they will all know the killer (or copycat) is back and will finally realize they are in danger?

Okay, I paused the first video of the newspaper article about the sheriff finding the body of Wakefield...I think it gets into spoiler terriory so...

Basically it says that the sheriff went back to the area where he shot Wakefield and found his body when everyone else had moved downstream (he shot him and then the body fell over a bluff into the water)

I'm confused - I've just watched the first two episodes on harpersglobe.com. Is this supposed to be the background info we're looking for in the show? Is this the only way to get the background info? If so, how could someone watch the show and NOT really "get" it? kwim?

I think it's just extra info...we'll get more story on the show eventually. Kinda like Lost does in the summer. They tell us stuff we don't need to know, but that is cool!

I don't get the masked guys' thing though...you're info is very helpful Tink!
