I am soooo hooked on harpersglobe.com! I've been on there all afternoon! Is that something we can discuss on here or not?

I have spent the afternoon on Twitter and Facebook (created accounts just for the TV show) so I can follow everything all the way down through, including the Harper's Globe. I should be caught up by next Thursday.

I hope we get some more background info on Abby, other than that her mother was one of those killed. Like, why hasn't she spoken to her dad since she left. KWIM? I like her though, and really don't think she has anything to do with it - she's too spooked herself.

Of course, since this show does have some slasher tendencies, don't get too attached to the bride!!!

My thought is that in the end, Henry and Abby will still be around cause they seem to be the only two that are really "good" people in my book. Or maybe the fisherman? Oh, who knows!!!! I'm already overthinking this crazy show!

I also agree that the killer has to have some help. One person could not have gotten rid of Uncle Marty's body all by himself I don't think. And how is it that all these bodies are disappearing after they are killed without anyone seeing them?

I hope we get more backstory on Abby and the Sheriff. I wonder why he sent her away years before.

Is anyone following Harper's Globe online? (www.harpersglobe.com)

It follows a parallel storyline to Harper's Island, and shows short web episodes and 'blogs' based on a character Robin Matthews who has been hired to create a website for the Harper's Island newspaper.

One of the videos showed where Robin's boyfriend, Brent, and his old college friend, Ben Wellington (the boat propeller victim from HI), are being tortured by two people - nicknamed Dangerous Wreck and Cheshire Cat on Harpers Globe. So there may be more than one killer, though CC seems more voyeuristic, while DW is sadistic

Yup! And see Robin at the very end? A lot of people think she and DW were involved in the bear trap accident...... But more importantly, what's up with Brent???

Based on Ben, I'm pretty sure that Harpers Globe and Harpers Island are running simultaneously, right? So while the wedding party is on HI, Robin is at the same time, corresposnding from HG?

My theory, fwiw, Abby's father - the sheriff - killed his wife because she was having an affair & he just went nuts. Killed the others because ? maybe he felt they knew or he was just so enraged. Then sends his daughter away cause he doesn't want her to get hurt. Now that she came back for the wedding, he starts killing again so that she doesn't decide to move back there.

It's usually someone they throw in whose not in it much and doesn't really need to be in it.

I'm hooked, but only because it's so bad I can't help but watch it.

At this point, I don't care if they kill all of them next week, but I know I'll be watching.

I feel the same way The first one was ugh but the second one was slightly better so hopefully they will get better as they go. I'm in either way cause I can't stand to not know who dies and who did it.

I'm going to be the odd man out and say I don't think it is the sheriff. That doesn't mean he couldn't have lied about killing the original murderer....maybe they never caught the original murderer or something else happened to stop the murders

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I think it might be the brides father. The reason, the uncle was killed right after he found out about him sending her ex to the island..The priest, well if there is no priest who is going to marry them. The girl that was hung, I think she seen him. The others not sure....I am always wrong, but hey who knows.

If Abby's dad is "john wakefield or his copy, than how did the cousin get strapped to the bottom of the boat?

Ok I am just getting around to watching the videos on Harpers Globe and in the 2nd one Brent tells her that Wakefield died falling off one of those cliffs... in the show Abby said her dad killed him. Did he kill him by pushing him off the cliff? Am I missing something?

Abby's dad supposedly shot him but he didn't die from that, then he tumbled off the cliff and everyone said that nobody could survive that fall. Nobody found him until Abby's dad said that he found him and he was dead. But where is the body?

Ahhh Thanks I missed that about him being shot and falling off the cliff. I only saw the first few clips on the website then for some reason my computer didn't want to download them I will try again tomorrow.

I have gotten so hooked on www.harpersglobe.com. I spend way too much time on there! But it's a fun mystery to try to solve - actually more fun than the show itself! Oh, and did you hear HI has been moved to Saturday nights now?

Forgive me if this is posted, but I haven't gotten to watch last weeks episode yet.....but effective immediately they are moving Harper's Island to Saturday nights. I DVR it anyway so no biggie for me. I guess the DVR and online audience it big for this show, so they don't feel the need to air it in such a prime timeslot.

I don't think it's the sheriff or the bride's dad, but I have absolutely no idea who it is.

And Wakefield's body is supposedly in that cemetary that the one team went to--they wouldn't bury him at the cemetery and the blond chick (who is very obsessed with the whole thing) showed the tombstone to the blond guy...I thought it having burnt candles all around it really is a clue...someone holding a vigil or worshiping or maybe doing all of this to carry on wakefield's legacy? Like a daughter or son or something?
