Lets see the only two we don't see after the crash is Derek and Alex.

I really thought Callie was leaving, she promised Arizona she WOULD Never leave her. That right there usually sign a death certificate LOL

Of course, when Callie told Arizona she wasn't going to ever leave her, that sounded like the kiss of death to me.....

Thats what I think too. We know it's not Karev, Derek,bailey, Meredith, Christina or the chief. It has to be Arizona. Was Mark on the plane? Or Lexi?

Yes, Mark was on the plane but iin the preview he was okay. I don't think Lexi was.


I hope it's not Arizona she is one of my favs. I almost like her more then the orignals

I'm kinda of leaning toward April, She has loss everything and it would be so sad to loss her.

I think it's going to be Arizona, particularly after the scene with Callie- "never leave me" and her throwing Alex off the surgery and taking his place. Leaves lots of survivor guilt for Alex to deal with next season, and grief for Callie. I think killing off April would be too easy.

One thing I know for sure is even though at times the subplots haven't been as good lately, Shonda Rhimes is a master at finales. That preview might be a red herring. The death might not have anything to do with the plane crash, or it might happen AFTER the crash or it might happen back at Seattle Grace. Heck, even the contract renewal announcement is misleading. Maybe Derek will be there but as a ghost LOL!

Can't wait for next week though! Im still leaning towards Arizona. Jessica Capshaw is pregnant and maybe she wants out?

Rhimes tweeted a quote from author Kurt Vonnegut that was intended to foreshadow this season's finale: "Be a Sadist. No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them — in order that the reader may see what they are made of."


So who on the show is sweet and innocent. That sounds like April or Lexie to me

I think April will kill herself and I think Arizona will die in the plane crash (which I saw coming a mile away as soon as I knew they were going to Boise).

So when they showed the crash at the end, I started yelling "I KNEW it, I KNEW the plane was going to crash!!" DH thinks the plane crash was just to throw us off.

I really thought it was the Chief for most of the show. They were showing him with Karev alot. I agree that its going to be Callie. All that "Promise you'll never leave me." and Arizonia going off the deep end at Karev. I could also see it being both Callie & Arizonia. Was Owen on the plane??

I think April is going to commit suicide. She is a hot mess and they keep piling on the pain. And is Owen isn't killed in the finale he will blame himself for not giving her a job and not being supportive.

I think it will be Arizona. Can't stand her anyway - lol Then I think they will play up Mark having to choose between Julie, Lexi and Callie. Karen takes Arizona's job, April takes Karev's job.

Lexi was on the plane too. In the previews they showed a flash of her bloodied face, and it looked like she was trapped.

Here's a thought, maybe April goes a bit wacko and hurts someone. She could have resentment against Jackson, Owen, Hunt, the Chief ...

Either the Chief or Derek could have contracts, be killed off, and still appear frequently. Flashbacks of the Chief interacting with all the main characters, or a lot of Derek dream sequences for Meredith. Too much of either could be annoying, however.

I think we may see someone get killed off next week, or we may be waiting all summer to see what happens next.

according to an interview I read with Shonda Rhimes, one "beloved" character will die next week, and others will be in jeopardy until the new season starts! Looks like we won't know the whole story until September. Probably because next week's script was written and filmed before all the cast re-signed contracts.

I don't remember seeing calli on the plane. I mean if Mark and Callie were on the plane who is watching sofia (which I don't remember seeing a lot on the show any more.)

I am hoping that lexie survives so that Marc and lexie get back to gether.

I was stunned @ the plane crash because I didn't expect it. But then I knew some actors didn't renew their contracts but then again I just didn't see it coming.

But one thing I hope for that it wasn't going to be another season of Derek resenting Meredith again. It has been happening between those two a lot in the show, which i'm getting sick of.

i just hope they can stay together if they both survive.
I can't stand them again. It's nothing new and think that it will bore the show again if it's between them again.

As soon as I saw the ones on a plane together, I was like uh oh. Why do they have to be on the same plane going different places?
