Well, I think I am going to like the spin-off!! Some hot doctors there! Does anyone know the name yet and when it is premiering?

God, I HOPE Addison won't be carrying the show. She acts like a mawkish victim. I don't want to tune into her whining for an hour each week. I think us watching her get the news that she can't get pregnant was a preview of "the problems of Addison" each week.

I think Amy Brenneman will ultimately take over as the female lead of the show.

I love Merrin (the best friend/ fertility specialist.) She's holding her own against these high powered stars. Go Merrin!

There is no spin off yet. ABC announces its fall lineup later this month so we will have to wait and see if they decide to give the series a green light.

The way I look at it, it was either this episode, or another one of their eternal reruns or a clip show.

it was like an hour and 30 minutes of addisons crappy show.. then 30 minutes of the real greys anatomy... i like addison, i do! ever since her and derek divorce, i liked her, but that new show tonight sucked. was not good. she needs to just stay on greys and kick it with alex.

Is anyone else sick of the way Izzy moons over these lost loves of hers? First it was Denny. For so many episodes after he died, she acted like she was THE authority on having loved & lost. How he'd been her true love & how she'd never get over it.

Now, even though she's known George all this time, through Alex, through Denny, now George is the REAL one. Oh PUH-LEASE! What happened to her great love for Denny? The way she's mooning over George, it cheapens whatever love she (supposedly) had for Denny. She acts more tragic than Cathy did over Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights.

So, that Cooper guy really gets on my nerves. I didn't like Violet that much either. But the other 3 main characters were okay.

Also, am I the only one having "Judging Amy" flashbacks....and wishing that they were actually just bringing back Amy instead of this crappy show? I didn't even watch Amy that much but it looks like they just took the cast and replanted it around whiny Addison!
On this show there is: Judge Amy, one of Amy's brother , Amy's mother's real life brother, and is the new head honcho at the clinic Amy's old assistant? Plus the pg teen is the troubled girl off of Joan of Arcadia but I remember her doing a stint in Amy's court as well.

It is annoying, but I do know people like that in real life, so it's kind of realistic.

I'm not sure what I think about the new Addison show (the tentative title is Private Practice-- or at least that's what I've heard!) I really like Addison (I wanted her to get back together with Derek!) but I'm not sure about a spinoff. I liked last night's "pilot," but it was annoying that the real Grey's Anatomy got pushed to the background the way it did.

ok, I was put out that there was no real Grey's episode last night, it was basically a pilot for Addison's "new show" with a few Grey's clips thrown in for fun.....

I vote for NO new show! I fell asleep at 9:30 because the "new" show wasn't holding my interest. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and tried to watch it again. It put me to sleep again.

While I could watch Taye Diggs all day long, I really wasn't interested in his character. I don't like Amy or Tim. Addison wasn't herself.

Boring!

I think I will like the new show more than GA. I think the Tim Daly character is waaaay sexier than either of the Mc's. And I am totally tired of the Izzy/George thing. To me there is no spark whatsoever between those two and for someone who lost the love of her life not so long ago, it is totally unbelieveable as a story line(yes-I know this is a soap, but still..). Ugh..and the needles in the face thing grossed me out way worse than the fish.

I just don't know about the spin off. I like the people the stars that are in it but don't think this show could hold it's own. Whats with a wellness clinic being run by a bunch of doctors who are all falling apart mentally

Does anyone else see her getting PG with Alex's baby I just think that if she stays on Greys that this may be in her cards. Her having a mental moment and crying on his shoulder about how she can't have a child and then sleeping with him and then ending up surprised that she gets pregnant. Either that or she sleeps with BOTH Alex & McSteamy and gets pg. but not sure who the father is.

I feel ripped off. That was not a 2 hour GA but about 30 minutes of GA filler around the new show. I was hopeful for the new show but I have to say that I just didn't like it. I love Addison on GA but I hated the way they are protraying her in the new setting. It just does not work IMHO. I found myself bored and falling asleep toward the end.

Leave Addison at Seattle Grace where she belongs and turn up the heat on her and Alex! I think that storyline would be far more interesting that this new show.
