The *OFFICIAL* Grey's Anatomy Fan Thread!

Hooray - only about 26 hours left until Grey's tomorrow night! What do we all think the disaster will be???

I totally think the ferry boat's going to catch fire or crash or something!

I saw a longer commercial during Lost
posted in white in case you dont want to know

it looked like part of the ferry was on fire...I couldnt tell if it had crashed into something or not
...

Ohhhhhhhhh - only two hours to go! I can't wait... I did read the teaser in white... I can't wait to hear what you all will think of tonight's episode!

Kind of a let down...or a bit disappointed in tonights episode. Anyone else? It just didn't do anything for me. :confused3

Uh my mouth is hanging open right now. It's only going to get better. This part 1 of 3. Next week can't come soon enough.

This week was kind of slow moving but I think it is all setting up for a big night next week! I totally didn't see Meredith going overboard (although not surprised something happened to her vs. the others. I hope O'Malley finds the boy....Can't help but feel that him & Callie O'Malley just aren't going to make it :guilty:

It sounded like from the preview that the little boy George is looking for doesn't live.

I was starting think the little blond girl was a ghost. Still not convinced she isn't!

Alex was so good with the woman he pulled out of the water. I used to really not him but, if Addison doesn't want him, send him my way!!

That was one weird episode. I am wondering if the whole thing turns out to be Meredith's dream. Surely they can't kill Grey from Grey's Anatomy, can they? :confused3

I'm also wondering about the significance of the woman who is looking for her little boy, and the fact that the little girl is lost. Are these two stories somehow intertwined? I was left thorougly confused....... My son kept saying the little girl looks like she could be Izzie's daughter and maybe she is Izzie's DD that she gave up for adoption. Oy.

For the first time ever, I loved Karev last night.

If they have to kill someone, I wish it would be McSteamy. He irks me (although that shower scene still lingers, other than that, I can't find anything redeemable about him).

That episode did drag a little bit IMHO... But, Karev? Well, he should specialize in OB I think.... he connected with that woman because of the baby... it was very redeeming of him :)

About killing off Meredith, my husband thought maybe they could kill her off & bring her mother back (who somehow becomes lucid).... long shot on that one I think....

I think the couples are realizing how hard it will be to be married to your boss/charge and they'll have to adjust or they won't make it...

Izzy is in trouble IMHO, I hope someone comes to rescue her from those men, if that man dies they might try to take it out on her... I just kept thinking she shouldn't be so isolated with angry men :(

I'll be waiting for next weeks episode, can't come soon enough, although I'll watch last nights show tonight (again!)

OMG...that ran thorugh my mind too!:scared1:

Okay--no more teasers ahead of the show, please. I felt a bit bummed that i knew it was the ferry.

And this pregnant woman about had a coronary over the pregnannt mommy. And it just adds to my "peeveness" about the show--they had the mom a couple of months ago that broke her wrist in the shower and the baby died and it was implied that it was the fall. Yet car accident mom from last season and now the concrete pilon (sp?) falls and crushes this woman's face...and so far her baby is alive. It just makes me even mad for the broken wrist episode as it takes a tremendous amount of trauma for that to be the reason of losing the baby.

Anyway--lots of gross scenes and the little blonde girl--I just feel so sorry for her. I do wonder how long the events transpire next week b/c Meredith can only be submerged for so long.

Very gripping episode--but I do feel they are practically holding Izzy hostage with that man. She can do little...they are unappreciative and are expecting a miracle. For her sake I hope he can be saved--but she has a very difficult case and I feel very much she is in danger.

The little girl is not a ghost b/c in the tease McDreamy asks her where Meredith is and she points to the water. IF she was a ghost it is rather unusual for others to see it and the paramedic did tell her to stay put. I don't think he would have said anything to a figment of Meredith's imagination in a crisis and when Meredith wasn't even close by to hear that. Never crossed my mind that she was a ghost.

What did cross my mind is Meredith feels like she is looking in a mirror b/c the girls expressions are quite similar to Mer's in the flashbacks when she looks incredibly lost with all of her moms crazy behavior from the affair when Mer was little.

Why can't all those strong guys life the car off the injured man so he can be pulled out? I think the worst part of Izzy's situation is that it doesn't look like this guy will make it, yet Izzy is forced to use all her resources and skills on him, when she could be helping many other people.

The little girl is a lost child without a mother, just like Meredith is. The little girl helped to save the man's life and probably Meredith's life surmising from the teaser, and maybe that will bring her out of her "funk." Maybe Meredith will come out of her funk, too, understanding the great power she has to save lives. Then I wonder if her mother's words will ring true to her, and she will decide not to be ordinary anymore, and let herself drift away from McDreamy. After all, sweeps are coming up. I think McDreamy will be her knight in shining whatever and rescue her from the water.

I am really curious about how Karev handles the situation with the families. He has shown little compassion so far, but has gained some working with OB patients. Maybe that will move with him in his dealings with the patients. (In stark contrast to the other resident, who went around distributing orange juicce, but can't find it in her to show some compassion).

The show was riveting last night.

First off, I like the teasers and spoilers. If it is agreed that we aren't going to post them here, I welcome PMs of spoilers. As a matter of fact, I bookmarked the GA spoiler page because I love knowing what will happen before the show airs. I like seeing how it meshes together with the spoiler.

Having said that, last night was <YAWN>. I hope that the story picks up next week.

I don't think Izzy's situation would be quite as bad if she didn't looked scared out of her mind. That might make the angry crowd believe in her more. She looks like a deer in headlights.

It would be great if the teasers were in white and we could highlight them if we want to read them like the post above.;)

does anyone know the website of the spoilers? I never bookmarked it & now I'm just too curious

I guess I am in the minority, but I actually enjoyed last night's episode. And I really liked Alex in it. I was so shocked when Meredith fell in the water, especially b/c the little girl just stood there staring at her. I know she was still in shock, but she could have at least tried to find someone to help.

It did drag but i know they are building up to something better so i can take a slow week....

I get the whole wanting to disappear story line....but seriously

there is no way a first year surgical intern would be on a disaster response team.....that was just to much for me

If it's a teaser or a spoiler from a website, the website should be linked. If it's from a GA commercial, I think it's fair game.

Kind of a let down...or a bit disappointed in tonights episode. Anyone else? It just didn't do anything for me. :confused3
Yeah I didn't think it was that great either. And don't leave Mer falling in the water as the hook for next week. We know she's not going to die.
It sounded like from the preview that the little boy George is looking for doesn't live.

I was starting think the little blond girl was a ghost. Still not convinced she isn't!
I got the feeling from George that he found the boy and he wasn't alive. The way he shook his head to Miranda indicated that (to me anyway).

And I do think something is up with that little girl. I wasn't thinking ghost though but she's very creepy.
I'm also wondering about the significance of the woman who is looking for her little boy, and the fact that the little girl is lost. Are these two stories somehow intertwined?
I wondered the same thing as well. I thought maybe the woman was confused and thought she had a son, but she had a picture of him. :confused3
