Not that it really matters, but I don't think Mer & the Vet ever did it. I think when Mer told Christina that, I think Christina was surprised. Unless, they did it after that...and I've forgotten. He was cute though.

Patrick Dempsey & Wife Welcome Twin Boys

Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian welcomed twin boys on Thursday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The twins, named Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick, were born in Los Angeles. They join 4-year-old sister Talula in the Dempsey household.

Dempsey, 41, who plays Derek "Dr. McDreamy" Shepherd on Grey's Anatomy and recently starred in the movie Freedom Writers, announced his wife's pregnancy in September on Live with Regis and Kelly.

In January, he posed for Life with his head resting on his wife's pregnant belly.

Asked how fatherhood has changed him, he told the magazine, "Now, making money is about providing for my children. And being a father makes you look at yourself. You look at your marriage and go, 'How do I improve this? How do I keep growing and create a stable environment for my children?' "

Dempsey and his wife met in 1994 when he came into her salon for a haircut. (She now has her own high-end cosmetics line.) They married in 1999 at the Dempsey family farmhouse in Maine.

I do remember seeing Meredith come downstairs, in a big guys shirt, at the vets office. I think Derek saw it too.

Did anyone else freak at the end when Addison was with McSteamy?? Heeeellllo?? What about Alex?....I thought I was imagining things!

They didn't sleep together--I forget the circumstances...but basically her clothes were soiled or something and she needed a shower. The vet was laundering her clothes and that was just something interim to wear. Derek ASSumed they had slept together....hence the following episode where she reemed him that he had not right to call her a slut or something.

I really thought Addison was going to hook up with Alex last night. Especially after the looks they kept exchanging. McSteamy was a surprise.

This show never stops surprising me though. I was surprised with both Callie and Christina last night.

Another good episode.....and February sweeps should be interesting!
