read my post above

But we don't know what illness/injuries he had, which is what people are confused about.

I didn't mind the jumping around. I am sure they did the relay the same chaos that the characters felt about everything that was going on.

I wish they would have shown more about Christina's recovery. One minute she's in the tub saying she can't get out and then she moves to MN. I agree, I would have felt more about Mark had I seen this first.

Here's something small that bothers me- how old is Zola? She looks big, like 15-18 mos or more ? They always play a track of what is supposed to be her voice babbling like a small baby. She should be talking and saying words by now.

I am HATING this flashing back and forth.

That is all.

:thumbsup2

Im so confused... what happened to Sloane? Why did he go downhill?

That's what I was wondering.

I guess I missed where they talked about his injuries. Im going to have to rewatch.

I thought I missed something but based on all the posts, it sounds like it was the writers that missed something. :furious:

Christina's bathtub speech was quite disturbing.

Well, the episode didn't get any better after the first 10 mins. :headache:

Shonda Rhimes better step it up. I wasn't all that interested last season and if this writing style continues, I'll be done.

What really disappointed me is how it was never shown how people back at Seattle Grace found out about the plane crash. No initial reactions from them, which should be a big part of the story.

Why did Sloane die? What "injury" killed him? Nothing was ever said about his injuries.

And how did Yang go from babbling in a bathtub to 100% and moving to MN? That is why I was so confused about the facebook clip I saw yesterday. I thought it happened *in* MN, after the plane crash!

Poor, poor writing.

Jessica Capshaw just had her 3rd baby, so I assume keeping her in bed makes it much easier to hide her belly.

Overall, I'd give last night's show a big fat F.

I noticed that about Zola, too. She should be talking now, but it's probably pretty hard to control a baby on set.

When they first showed Mark in bed my husband (who doesn't really watch the show) said "Isn't that the dude that died last week?" I was trying to explain everything to him and he was completely lost.

I have a feeling this is the last season.

Me too. And because of it, it's hard to feel any emotion for anything going on. Plus we know from last week how they turn out. So what is the point?

I completely agree!! I usually love this show but was getting more and more annoyed last night. That was horrible! Too many loose ends, too much confusion, and they left out so many details. I hate that the only mention of Lexi was in that awful speech.

I don't see how Christina could go from comotose to functional and working within that time. I still don't believe that someone as positive as Arizona would be reacting that badly to her leg situation. Doesn't fit her personality to have all that hatred and anger.

I know it's silly but it's really hard to get closure on the ending of characters and story lines when they muck up the ending so much. I was prepared to be so sad that people were leaving and it just felt weird and unfinished.

They had that whole huge emotional, shocking dramatic cliff hanger and then they come back to finish it with this jumbled mess of story clips. I hope the rest of the season gets better.

I wonder if Shonda Rhimes is even writing the whole show? These two episodes don't have her usual feel and tear-jerker quality to it. I know she is now writing Scandal, which I really like, but GA now doesn't seem to have her hand all over it. It's like she handed it off to several writers who wrote snippets all over the place, and they turned them all in and someone pieced them all together in the order they were turned in. It's a bad piecing & sewing job. Nothing works very well. :headache:

I agree, this is the last season. Everyone is spread out, talking about moving to new hospitals. Is Karev gone finally? Or are we going to hear all season that he's leaving for Harvard?

And when Jessica Capshaw is back more on the show, they can't magically sew legs back onto her. It's going to be a long season of recovery & rehab for her. Or is she leaving, too, to take care of all her kids? Sounds like they are setting her up to be one moody-broody patient all season.

Last night Alex said he was staying at Greys

Wow, didn't know this thread existed! Anyone else bummed about the lack of any closure for Lexi. Did I miss something? Last night was supposed to explain all that happened and all we got was one shot of her reaching out to Mark and Christina mentioning the animals "fighting over Lexi!" Ummm...not what I want to hear. I loved her way more than I did Mark Sloan.

I think Meredith should have been more distraught over here sister's death. You would think she would be grieving more.

I just finished the latest episode and I am so confused. What is up with Christina in the tub? And mark - the surge. Ugh.

And lexi being eaten? You'd think they'd let her go out better than that.

I think this will be the beginning of the end for Grey's.

It's just become too much.

I HATE ARIZONA being angry and negative, that is not her.

Yes, her leg is gone but, she still has Callie and Sophia. AND she's Alive.
Come on, it's just too much.

I never liked Arizona and this is going to make me not like her even more. So far this season I have not been impressed, but I will continue to watch until the very end.

I think I heard this is Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey's last year of their contracts and they are probably leaving. So, it may be the end of grey's. I agree it seems there are different writers this season.

Yes, Arizona has to mourn for the loss of her leg, but she is a Dr. and should realize that she would have DIED if they hadn't taken her leg. I am wondering why no talk of a prosthetic leg?

The preview for the next episode showed her trying out a prosthetic leg!

I've never liked Arizona either. I wish she had died rather than Lexi and Mark. I was torn about this episode. things were looking up for Christina and Owen and then swoop, back to hating. Sigh.
