Agreed. I would've thought one of them would've mentioned to Mark...Go be with Lexie or Say Hi to Lexie or whatever but they did nothing.

to the PP who lost their FIL like this. We had to take my Dad off a vent and I was reliving it as well. Although we talked to my Dad (even though he was unconscious) the entire time so this was a bit awkward that they just sat there.

I'm really disappointed with this episode It just felt really emotionless. Normally when someone dies i am crying my eyes out. But maybe that's because they skipped you forward, or because I'm sitting at work and my patient keeps pulling off her bipap lol. Hoping next week is better.

That pretty much it. Alex came back. They showed Arizona laying in bed, with her leg gone.

I am pretty sure it was both legs... She said something like how am I supposed to help? you cut off my legs.

I wish they had started back at the crash screen but I guess they are going to relive bits and pieces in the next couple of episodes.

We didn't like it either. DH kept asking me questions and thinking we'd missed a week. The season finale was soo emotional and shocking, this was confusing and a big letdown. Though I did still cry at Mark and didn't understand why Mere would leave at that time.

I also don't think the characters are behaving the way I would think they'd handle things. I can't see Bailey being that unprofessional and Arizona has always been so positive, I would think she'd be more likely to be able to handle the trauma. Not saying she'd be all smiles, but I can't see her shutting down so completely.

I hope next week answers all those questions.

Oh - and I do not like Avery with hair. He was so much sexier with his shaved head!

We turned it on about 2 mins into the episode and DH said "I thought it was supposed to be new tonight?" I checked the guide and it said it was supposed to be.

I just didn't care for the entire episode.

I didn't like the episode that much but Arizona was a surprise. I didn't care that much about Mark. I haven't ever liked him or Arizona. I can't wait for Christina to come back. The part about bringing April back was stupid.

Me neither. I'm usually a blubbering fool over these scenes in Grey's Anatomy. This time, I was rather quite emotionless. I had to check the cable guide a couple times to make sure I was watching the season premiere. I kept feeling like I missed an episode.

Then when they showed previews for next week, apparently we DID miss what should have been next. But, for some reason they are showing it out of order. Maybe they are going to do anther time jump back & forth again. Showing events at the plane crash and how it impacts a month later. Doesn't work, IMO.

I agree about Arizona, she is always so positive to see her like that was surprising.

I had to laugh when Meredith just gets up from the chair and tells them to let Derek know she went to see Cristina. UMMMMM....... you are a mother, you can't just do that. LOL Silly me living in reality and not a TV show.

BCB (my dh hates watching the show but he was laughing at that one) had a previous boyfriend that was a nurse. I want to say he was younger or looked younger then the current one & had a pretty boy face (think Rob Lowe of the 80's-perfect skin, etc..).

You're right, the first one was Daniel Sunjata (nurse) and the current one is Jason George (doctor). I totally somehow missed that she was dating a doctor now. And they don't even look so much alike, not sure how I missed the change in men .

i hated last nite's episode.

i think what really ticked me off most is since it was a month later...where was addison? seriously...how come she wasn't there? especially with their history.

the previews for private practice had addison finding out then...makes no sense.

i don't like the new interns either.

i kept trying to remember who was missing last nite...i'm glad they finally showed kepner, i like her annoying-ness...really enjoyed her with avery last season. LOL

just so disappointed in last nite's show. at least private practice was enjoyable!
