Sorry. I agree with Sookie. She told Lorelai that she always runs to Chris when the going gets tough. He's not good for her. I still vote for Luke...Amy? Reinforcements!!!
Absolutely, I agree with both you AND Sookie. I was thinking about this last night--I really think that Lorelai needs to be the one to break up with Chris. Think about it--he has always left her, not the other way around. She gets sucked back in and then, boom, he's out the door. I think to truly get over him, Lorelai needs to be the one to say, "Hey, this isn't going to work." and move on instead of Chris being the one doing the leaving. Does this make sense? I think if she's the one that actually makes the decision to end it, it will be easier for her to stop running to him.
Okay, Mal, let's see if I can remember anything from last night. (Welcome back, btw, I missed you, pal!)
We're now about 6 weeks ahead of the last episode--Chris & Lorelai have been dating. (blech) Sookie gives Lorelai a hard time about Chris being her rebound (rubber ball) man when he's really a bowling ball.

Meaning, that your transitional guy should not be this guy you have all this history with but should instead be a pool boy or construction worker or someone who can't spell his own last name.
April came to stay with Luke for two weeks while Anna is in New Mexico taking care of her mom after surgery. She talks him into going to Target (where he has NEVER been before, can you believe it?) and they buy all sorts of stuff to redecorate his apartment. She's also hinting that she'd like him to date her biology teacher.
Umm...Rory is back at Yale and covers an art show for the paper. She ends up making friends with these two artsy girls (one of whom was the baseball team owner's daughter on Veronica Mars last season, I believe

) They come back to Logan's place and Logan calls and hears all this loud music and thinks Rory's having a party.
Chris takes Lorelai on a date where they go to a barn and watch Funny Face projected onto the barn. Apparently, they'd been going to a string of bad movies (Snakes on a Plane) and he took her to see something good. Made me want to watch Funny Face again--I haven't seen it in awhile. When the movie's over, Lorelai's cell phone rings--Emily is in jail. She was pulled over for talking on a cell phone while driving and then refusing to take a breathalyzer. Lorelai was giddy at the jail, taking pictures of all the cops.
Richard is teaching an ECON class at Yale--which was why Emily didn't call him because he was at dinner with the dean.
Umm---let's see--oh, Chris and Lorelai go back to Lor's house and they make out and she invites him in. Ick. Apparently there had been no sleepovers because everyone kept telling Lorelai to be careful.
That's about the time my head exploded from too much Christopher.
