I read that Maurice Benard did take family leave, but he pretaped a lot of scenes, so he wouldn't be off camera very much. I think they are supposed to find her fairly quick, too. I sure hope so.

Ok, I know a lot of you don't like Sonny, but Maurice Benard is so great. I like him the best when Sonny doesn't have control of a situation. He is a really good actor.

I like the girl who plays Brook Lynn, too. I felt really bad for her today.

I agree about Maurice Bernard. He really can play his emotions well ~ especially anger.

Can't wait for AJ to get back and create some good turmoil. I can only imagine how that storyline is going to play out.

Me too! They really seem to be building a lot of stories up now. Hopefully a lot will actually happen since it is February sweeps.

My gut tells me that Sam stole the money (I mean it's right up her alley to break open a safe) and is "buying" an infant and Alexis arranged the entire kidnapping of Kristina. They showed the woman in the room with the guy and Kristina and she had a leather coat exactly like Alexis'. JMHO though.

Sam definitely stole the money for a baby, I think it's to pay someone off to steal Hope.
Hmm... I hadn't thought about Alexis being behind the kidnapping, that would be interesting!

Faith makes good on her threat to get even, by kidnapping
Kristina. The kidnapping of Kristina by Faith takes place at the end
of January (as we said earlier, during a visit with Sonny).
Expect it to last about 3 to 4 weeks during which time Ric, Sonny
and Alexis team up. As we've hinted, by the time all is said and

I say Faith is definitely behind the kidnapping. Not sure what Sam plans to do with the money, but I'm sure it involves some baby. I too really wish she'd get back together with Jason. I was really impressed that they finally let him admit that he has moved on. When he told Courtney that he was in love with Sam it was great! And how huge is Courtney's engagement ring? Honestly!

Ooohhh! They showed AJ today. I can't wait to see whats going to happen upon his return. I'm sure it is going to be good. So I guess Courtney and Jason were never legally married. What a hoot. Looks like Sam was going to buy a baby for her and Jason. Duh- can't see why she thought that would work.

Me too! I called my DSIL yesterday to tell her Tony was on. I miss him.

Everything seems to be picking up right now. I hope it continues.

I totally AGREE! Im so sick of this sonny/ alexis story line its driving me nuts... not to mention poor helpless Emily... unless things change i may just stop watching for a while cause its getting kinda boring

What I would like to know is: How come they found and traced Sam's footprints right away, but no others? Why didn't they find the guy's footprints that took Christina? Did he fly in and out?

OOOh!! That stuff looks great! I hope it all plays out. So, it said something about how people don't like Steven! I really like him. What do you guys think of him??

I like Steven. He is different, fun, and I like him. Not a cookie-cutter soap opera stud, which is kinda nice.

I like him. He's not the hard Mob type guy. I think a lot of people don't like him for Carly. They think he is too whimpy for her. She will eat him alive. I think he can be tough, he's just not hard. He's a cutie too.

Tamara Braun's contract is up next month (I think). She still has not re-signed. They will recast if she does not sign. Possibly with Sarah Brown. What do you all think? I wasn't watching when SB was Carly.

Oh, I wish I wish I wish they could get Sarah Brown back. She was AWESOME. One of the best actresses I have ever watched on a soap. I was so sad when she left. Oh I wish they could get her back. Um, I guess you could say I liked her.

I loved Sarah Brown as Carly, and at first was disappointed when they recast. Now, I love Tamara's performance as well. I would be happy if either person has the job, just as long as they don't try to redo that magic another time with another recast-Carly needs to be on the show and the right actress needs to play her.
