How come "ghost Allan" and "ghost Emily" haven't had any "ghostly conversations" yet? How is it that they bring some people back as ghosts..and yet poor Georgie is just plain D-E-A-D.

I haven't watched in the last week or so..caught bits and pieces here and there. Frankly, having Georgie die...especially at Christmas is just way to sad. I did catch part of the funeral service where Maxi told Felicia off...all I can say is "WAY TO GO!" I don't care much for Maxi..but thought the writers were right on the money with her reaction. The fact that they bring Felicia back into town and everyone just greets her and say's "howdy do"...is so bizzare. I'm glad they had her react like a normal person who's mother just took off years ago would have.

It just stinks that they can't have a somewhat normal person..like Georgie on the show. I think Mac has been great from the few scenes I've seen of him. Makes me remember way back in the day when he was one of the featured characters...remember the "Outback"..(before that name became a steak house chain?...and his Austrailian accent? ) He is really very good. Wasted now. It's a shame that they get rid of a character like Georgie that many of us long time viewers have watched grow(in fast forward soap opera speed!).
Oh...and I know I haven't watched regularly..but Luke is STILL in the hospital?...What's with that. The ball started out on Holloween..and it ended on Thanksgiving..and he's still in the hospital on Christmas. Jeeze Louise it will be Valentines Day before he gets out. That was one heck of a party.

Alan was very specific to Tracy the other day that he's not a ghost, he's her conscience. I guess that's what Emily is to Nicholas-his conscience. And apparently, the conscience of one person can't talk to the other person.
Does anyone know if the character of either Felicia or Dillon is going to stick around for a while? I absolutely love what they've done with Luke-made heart conditions so real, that they can happen to anyone, not just "the other guy".

I read that Emily is a delusion caused by Nicholas' brain tumor and now he has to decide whether to choose Emily or dying because if he gets rid of the brain tumor he won't see her anymore. How sad? I think he is going to choose to die.

Am I the only one not seeing the big romantic story with Em and Nic that Guza said her death would be a lead into. I realize that she is part of the brain tumor he said he had, but how it is romantic to have to choose between seeing a hallucination of the love of your life, or choosing to get treatment romantic.

And personally, given that Nic is a father, to me it would be the ultimate in selfishness for him not to choose treatment. Am I missing something?

Right now I find GH the most unromantic soap going. If it wasn't for the scene with Carly and Jax, it would have been a bust of a NYE show, IMHO. In fact, to me for the most part it was a real downer of a show today.

I hope things start looking up soon.

I am not seeing the romantic story of Nem either. And since Nik is a father he is acting selfishly.
Today was good for me. I liked Sonny's arrest, and Epiphany getting all giddy over Toussaints phone call. The foreshadowing of Stan's death is so obvious.

Sonny was arrested for trying to punch out some guy who was talking about Kate.
Toussaint is the janitor from NS, who was a singer. Played by Billy Dee Williams.

Gosh. This whole holiday season was such a downer this year. I remember the good old days when the holiday's were always so much fun. Everything was so far fetched and romantic fun. There was no murder. There was no death. Why couldn't they wait until after Christmas to kill off Georgie? Would that have been so bad?

Georgie should never of been killed off.. They made a big mistake on that one..

Does anyone know if Lucky actually ever found out what Sam did in the park to Elizabeth and the boys? I know she and Sam talked about it during the "ball" but did Lucky actually ever find out it was Sam behind the set up with the guys in the park? If he did...he is a bigger fool than I thought. Just think the boys will be spending time with Sam when Lucky has his visitation time with them. Would be kind of ironic if Lucky ever winds up with custody, and Sam becomes a full time step mom to Elizabeth and Jasons son! After all, she always wanted Jason's baby.

And no one went to the hospital for Christmas.No Christmas story or elfs. I am fast forwarding soo much now adays.


And I am still so upset that we got no good footage of Emily after her death and memories except love scenes with Nik. At least Georgie got those. I still hope this is all a very bad dream. The only from the ball that was true was the truth about Jake, the rest should be a dream

I stopped watching (after watching religiously for 24 years)--- after Georgie was killed, and they continued to write felicia as a deadbeat mom--- I have no interest in the show anymore. I just edited my DVR to stop recording it.

I don't blame you, Dina. I used to watch GH for years and then I stopped watching for about 10 years or so and just got back to watching about 2 years ago, mostly because they brought back a lot of veterans, Robert Scorpio, Anna, Holly and Laura. I had such high hopes, but they really dropped the ball. I plan to keep watching since they are bringing Sarah Brown back on. She's Carly to me, lol. I'm curious how the show will be with her on.

It really has been a weird couple of weeks, I keep fast forwarding alot.
I feel like I only watch to catch Liz and Jason. Hopefully February sweeps

Show really has been disappointing. I really think they dragged the entire ball thing out way too long. I'm sick of seeing Luke sick already. Jeeze, he must have some kind of insurance coverage, because he had his heart attack at the ball on Holloween, which of course was stretched into Thanksgiving. He's still in the hospital (some great hospital) after New Years! Having parents who are often hospitalized, I deal with insurance issues quite a bit, and they don't want to pay for an extra tylenol..let alone months on end in the hospital. I remember my poor uncles by-pass..they shipped that guy out so fast your head would spin. Good thing he had my cousin to take care of him and help him recouperate, or he would have been sent home on his own.
I only mention this because it is after all..."General Hospital". Only they are so far removed from what being in a real hospital is like. Probably a good thing. Only we have to watch him spend so much darn time in it. Sheesh. I'm sick of it...and I haven't watched too much with the holidays. Killing Georgie off was bad enough...but at Christmas! Just awful. No one reading the Christmas story at the hospital? I had hoped that I had just missed that. I'm sorry but that's just a traditional GH event. These writers must have gone on strike a long time ago, because NOTHING is happening that's actually worth watching. Oh..except for the fact that maniac Jerry is now a crime boss...Please....I don't think I can take much more of this.

Poor Stan had to die off screen.. but Mama Epiphany is getting some good screen time! YAY!!!!

I agree with you on the Luke's.. I was dying laughing the whole time and rewatched it on soapnet last night too..

I was hoping they would bring on a love interest for Epiphany.. I love to see her get screen time but not like that...

If he really is dead, it just shows us how cold Jerry Jacks is, to order the hit like that. I hate Jerry now. Is that what they wanted, for the viewers to really dislike this guy even more? Poor Epiphany, I felt so badly for her yesterday. What's with all the death on GH? The writers need to lighten up!
