I know for a fact that all of MB's love scenes regardless of acting partner are watched closely. Even though he personally choreographs each of his love scenes, they are almost always edited due to standards.*

Are love scenes vetted by an FCC associate/rep or by a GHer?

The FCC isn't involved with the GH scenes. GH edits itself and then goes to ABC standards who can make further edits. It depends on the day the things they can and can't get away with by the network. For this reason, they edit themselves.

I thought there were some rules too about being on top of each other, like a time limit or something?

There could be. I'd be a liar if I said I knew all their rules. I can only go by what my friend has told me at different times when scenes and dialogue was been cut/altered.

I would like to say that some accurate information has been spoiled as far as Jerry is concerned.

However I feel like some information is being left out.Jerry has been going after Trevor. And Jerry is still going after Trevor.

Jerry is involved in mob business. He's doing been during dirty deeds and will continue to do so against Sonny in an effort to prove to Trevor that he wants to bring Sonny and company down and team up with Trevor.

It was once said that Alexis will be shocked at the lengths Jerry will go to get what he wants. There it is in a nutshell.

I have heard that Alexis will discover Jerry's true motives before others do. And she will be unable to tell anyone else.

Why won't she be able to tell anyone? Will Jerry threaten her silence?

SI, if scenes were a little different from what we expected (like the scrubs scene this Friday where Robin cried and she initiated the kiss), is that because the actors make certain decisions and don't follow the script exactly or is it last minute script changes?

It can be either. I didn't ask about those scenes but I will make a point of asking my friend when they return on next week. I will answer this question for you next weekend.

SI, what's the fascination with the Zacchara family? Why are they featuring Brandon Barash so heavily? Are they looking to him to become the next generation mobster?

BB wasn't supposed to stay but positive response to him from the audience has them featuring him more. I don't know what their long term plans are for the character.

Did you hear anything of the juicy variety re: LW finding out SBr was being contacted? By juicy I mean *****ing, tantrums etc.

I haven't heard about LW being upset.
I haven't heard about cast reaction to the news.
I haven't heard that he's taped the strangler scenes but it wouldn't suprise me if he did. They have to use someone and since they don't show the face it doesn't matter who is used.

SI, is afterglow ever censored? Scrubs have had a lot of those and I wonder if any of it may have ever been censored that you know of.

Not that I've ever heard about.

Just to reiterate, when I say things have to be censored it's not because anything inappropriate happens in the scenes between actors. Some of their rules are silly and they have to make judgements on whether or not certain things in scenes appear a certain way.

I never implied or tried to imply anyone did anything inappropriate in scenes.

Just to be clear, I did say there can be no movement that appears to be thrusting, especially by the person on the bottom.

I'm sure it is. The violent aspect of the show seems to get the most response and that's what they want.

This place is going to be hell for the next month.

I still strongly feel that the writers are going to come back from strike and realize they need to fix this.

They did it with Lucky, Helena, Stavros, and even Laura and i'm sure theres more. They have got to figure out a way to bring Emily and Georgie back, and I think they just might.

Back in the late 70s, when ratings were really low, ABC came to GH and gave them an ultimatum "Fix the show or we're forced to cancel it" and they brought in Gloria Monty who brought the show to number one. Change needs to happen to GH again, and it needs to start with bringing back two of the most missed characters.

I understand not knowing what to do with Georgie any longer so they kill her off, but:

a) A talented 20 year old girl was fired for nonsense
b) Georgie/Spinelli are EXTREMELY popular. More popular than I think they realized when they decided to kill her off

Emily dying is ridiculousness. Get Amber Tamblyn on the phone and see if she wants a stable job back. She doesn't? Recast! Emily, whether I hate to admit it or not, is an extremely loved character that is a staple to the show.

They killed off two very popular characters for dramatic effect. Okay GH writers, it made us cry.....now retcon that bull-shizzle and BRING.THEM.BACK.

.....I have no idea how this turned into a rant but boy that felt good.

I have been gone from Home since the 10th and won't be back until the 5th of January so you guys are my only lifeline to GH.

It looks like I have not missed much except the Georgie killing...It so not right. Wish they could bring her back. I loved the Georgie/Spin story.

If anybody have a link to where I can read an update for each episode, I would love it.

I may be alone here. This story line doesn't bother me. I do not think the characters killed off were that important to the story line. Emily shocked me more than Georgie. Although I was more upset about Georgie. I guess because I remember her younger. Killing off Georgie brought Felecia back, which adds to the story line. Although I think Georgie was a much better actress. With Emily gone it opens up the possibilities for Nikolas to become evil. I just hope they make the killer someone important.

On a side note: I love the Lulu and Johnny thing.

I can not believe some of the storylines, unbelievable, even for a Soap. I bet this is all going to be some drug induced dream that Nic has been having from whateve side effects he is having from the drugs that were injected in him. However, I loved what Maxie had to say to her mother at the funeral.

I also would like to see Mac's character's role expand. I have watched GH for yrs....even in black and white (one yr). He has been one of my all time fav actors, along with Bobbie. Give him a great romance....He would be an all time catch for a 40something gal..good looking, successful, great father figure....enough of the teen romance....

It wouldn't make me so mad if they were not bringing on on these newbies. Why Nadine for Spin? Georgie is RIGHT THERE! It's just dumb. Kill off SD and bring on Trevor, or Anthony, or Johnny, etc.

However, I read that TPTB are getting MUCH backlash from all of these killings and the misuse of vets. Hopefully we will see change.

She was killed. I believe Alan was initially arrested for her murder, but it turned out to be Heather Webber. I'm not a 100% sure on that, it was quite a while ago. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I just LOVE the way Diane stands up to Sonny. Tells him he's probably a great lover, but she'll never know.... (or something to that effect)

I think Diane and Spinelli are the two bright spots on GH.

Georgie and Spinelli would have made a cute couple.

I agree that the veterans need to be used more. It was nice to see the interaction between Bobby and Luke!

It's Friday, the 28th.

Sam is back on and she is whining at Jason. Someone slap her now. She wants to know what is going on with the mob war. She wants to know if she should get her mom and sisters out of Port charles. Jason keeps telling her, what she don't know, makes her safe. She gets a jab in there about not having children because she took a bullet. Somehow she is going to try and break up Jason and Elizabeth-no couple can be a couple for long on GH.

I just saw Emily as a ghost again. The writers must of decided to give it another shot.
