Yes, I noticed the way it was shot but to be honest I found it less annoying then the way All My Children is done. Perhaps because it waI sn't a daytime soap?

I hate to say this but I really see this as the "future" of soaps.
Both the way they are shot and doing them on cable. I don't agree with it but I can see it going this way.

New rival(someone asked him if it was Faith and he said "isnt she dead?" he said it was a male who would shake things up.

On Jasam he said that they were done that anything could happen but he doesnt know how Jason could ever get past Sam watching his child being kidnapped and saying nothing. He also said something about not only what she'd done in the kidnapping story but some stuff that was coming up that she was out for revenge.

Someone asked if Jason loved Elizabeth and he talked about how he likes where the story is right now and that once those things come out that the story kind of becomes stagnant and he likes the way it's going and he's in no hurry. He also made a comment that Jason has been married twice for no good reason and the next time he'd like it to be for the right reason.

The secret that comes out at the trial is that Jason and Elizabeth had their ONS.

The event with Steve and Becky is an annual event, he stressed that it would be a yearly thing.*

I gotta say...I sort of thought the same thing. I think they were going for the shock value. I also found it kind of odd that Jason wasn't in Jail...? What's with that? If it's a show about characters that are on the daytime show...they should keep in mind the storyline from the daytime.


As far as GH..daytime....I am totally turned off by the way Anna is being written. As a giddy school girl...with a crush on a "rock star"...makes me want to barf. ..really. She doesn't show up when her child is dying..because she is on a "mission"...yet she is in town to catch her idol in a show. Lord...can't any of these shows have a woman over 40 be vibrant and sexy and interesting WITHOUT being an IDIOT? It's either that..or they write nothing for them..and kill them off. The character of Anna appears pretty shallow..nothing like what we've come to know her to be...even as she re-created her roll on All My Children.
At least we have Tracie...who is as good as ever. Allan has gotten more play time dead than alive...too bad. Although the scenes with he and Tracie are hilarious.

I haven't watched a single episode of GH this week. I only watched Night Shift b/c of Robin and Patrick.

It seems that they're going to try to "explain" Jerry's bad behavior by showing how he was tortured and had to watch his girl friend be killed. Wasn't this the same story about someone else many years ago-where they were tortured and had to watch their girl friend either be tortured or killed? I can't even remember if it was General Hospital? Can anyone help me out with this vague memory?

Just wanted to say "Welcome"...and I guess we could hope the behavior is a "cover"...but frankly I don't think so...they tend to bring these characters back for a ratings boost, and then have them be totally opposite of what long times fans know them to be.

Anyone have dirt on the rumors that Finola is coming back permanently...? I would LOVE to see Anna go up against Jerry in some old-school GH type espionage. She's being wasted as comic relief (although Robin asking Patrick to go to the roof and untie the rope was pretty funny).

Did anyone else find it really strange when Cruz Rodreiguez walked into the cubicle where Spinelli and Jason were that he introduced himself to them? I"m like, what, this guy is like Mac's right hand at the PD, they see him all the time and he feels compelled to give them his first and last name?! Too funny. And so far the new student nurses don't impress me at all. DH is an ER doc and I listen to him all the time and some of the stuff that went on on that show was just ludicrous.

I did--- that really struck me as odd. I thought maybe it was because in case there were non gh watchers watching (it was supposed to be a show that a non gh fan could follow)--- anyway, I thought maybe it was to introduce him to people who might not know him???

I totally get what you're saying about Anna. Anna could always be REALLY funny in her own way--- she did some things that totally cracked me up, but when watching this Anna, I'm wondering how familiar the writers are with the real Anna. When the heck would she have had the time to follow Eli Love on his worldwide tour--- sorry, it's funny, I cracked up-- but, I don't buy it.

To answer the question about Brenda and Jason's nups. For some reason, I think there was a shooting, murder or some other mafia-realted incident. In true soap fashion, Brenda was the witness and HAD to marry Jason so not to testify in the trial.

Not crazy about he production value of Night Shift either.
Finally found a chance to watch this morning. My husband asked, "Why does it look like that?" He thought I was watching GH.

It's been several days, so I'm not spoiling.... Is this how they recast Brenda?
