I liked Rick when he first came on trying to undermine Sonny. Then I hated him for chaining Carly up in the panic room and giving Elizabeth an overdose of hormones. Then I liked him again when he grew somewhat of a conscience, now I hate him again. Ugh!

I don't dislike Alexis, but I'm not liking the current Alexis. I liked her with Jax and Ned the best. I like when she gets to interact with Helena and Nikolas, which has been few and far between for the last few years. I'd like to see another Cassadine uprising. Hopefully it would take some of the focus off Sonny.

Seems like Lucas's father's name was Julian Jerome. I think Tiffany's sister was named Cheryl Stansbury. (Wow, that was a long time ago!)

Does anyone remember that storyline with, I think, his name was Kevin and he killed someone but got away with it and they couldn't retry him because it was double jeopardy and Beechers Corners was involved somehow.
Can anyone fill in the blanks?

and he was dating/married to Bobbie's step-daughter Teri.......I think that maybe Brock was her father

ok...I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that the actress that played Teri (I think this was her GH name) was/is a real life half-sister to Cher (as in the real entertainer Cher). Can someone confirm this?

Wasn't this the same actress that played later in a sitcom about a small airport in Nantucket? I can't remember that name either!!

Am I totally confused or do I have any of this right??

Yes, some of this is coming back. Wasn't the actress Crystal Bernard or her sister? Also, who did Kevin kill? Wasn't there also a guy with crazy hair involved in that storyline?

Well, I can fill in a few of the pieces, but can't remember much of the plot detail. The 2 brothers were Kevin and Patrick O'Connor, and both were doctors. One of them married Terry Brock, the spoiled daughter of D.L Brock who had married Bobbie. (Terry was played by Robyn Bernard, the sister of Crystal Bernard from the "Wings" show.) I think that Terry was accused of murdering someone, but it turned out that Kevin was the killer. I can't remember who was murdered or why. I think that maybe Kevin himself got killed off somewhere in there too.

Beechers Corner was the little town where Luke and Laura hid out on a farm while they were running away from Frank Smith. I'm trying to remember what aliases they used. I think Laura wore a black curly wig as a disguise.

Kinda fun thinking about some of those old, old storylines!

Kevin O'Connor: From 1985-'96, Dr. Kevin's choir-boy exterior was just a cover for a string of murders he committed, starting in his hometown of Laurelton. When lady love Terry discovered that he'd been hypnotizing her into thinking she committed the murders, the two struggled. Kevin fell to his death after Terry hit him with a rock and he sank like a stone.

Thanks Travelbug and Lars624! It's funny to think back to these story lines. I was just thinking about Hutch who hid out in Kelly's and Jimmy Lee Holt, who I actually got to see in person when he was signing posters at a local mall. I remember he had the bluest eyes I had ever seen

Thanks for filling in these blanks. Ok...now I googled Cher (the entertainer) and found that her half-sister did play on GH at one point. Does anyone remember what her role and story-line was? From Google: "Cher's half-sister, Georganna La Pere was a regular on the TV show, "General Hospital".

Patrick called off the "relationship" because they were getting too "serious". And then today he invites Carly to sleep with him and she shoots him down!

OMG. how funny were the scenes at the bar with all the guys talking about Carly? Max is a hoot, too. (Leticia, yeah right)

Lucas was adopted by Tony and Bobbie. Of course I can't remember who is real father is. Some mob guy, one of the Jeromes I think. His mom was Tiffany's (as in Sean and Tiffany) sister.

Frisco is Maxie and Georgie's father and Tony was their uncle. What is up with Maxie, she is awful what she is doing to Lucky and Elizabeth. Felicia wouldn't stand for that! Yeah right but she's in Texas

Am I the only one who likes Ric and Alexis. Ric is a slime, a real love to hate kinda guy for me, but I don't get why people hate Alexis so much. I like her better than Sonny or Saint Emily.

I do remember that Lucas was adopted...but they are still cousins..I guess just not biologically. I just thought it was wierd when one of the girls was interested in him romantically. Although technically I guess they aren't related by blood...in real life these kids would be growing up together as cousins. Bobbie being an aunt through marriage when she was married to Tony. At one time they all lived together in the "brownstone"...remember those days?...I liked that whole arrangement. Seems the brownstone has gone the way of the "Outback" simply vanished.

I must be one of the few that actually likes Ric. I always thought he got the crap end of the stick from Sonny. I don't like that they have turned him back into the minipulative sleeze. I think he has paid his dues where Sonny was concerned..with the whole kidnapping of Carly. I was tired of seeing him suck up to Sonny. I thought they could finally develope some kind of relationship..and have the almighty Sonny be wrong for a change. As far as Alexsis...tell me ..isn't a bit strange to have the DA be someone who has been charged with murder herself? I find that hard to swallow.

When Carly was talking to Coleman about the men in her "fanclub" at the bar, did anyone else find it ironic how Carly said, "And Lucky, he has a wife and a kid at home and he's at a bar, that speaks volumes about him." Um, how often do you see her with her kids and how often has she been in that bar lately? Ugh, Carly.

I have noticed that these soap people always manage to find time to have very nice lunches and dinners and hang out in bars..and their kids are somehow always napping or off being wonderful somewhere. Then again..if they weren't off being occupied somewhere... there wouldn't be any story to tell..and we wouldn't be here picking it apart!

So true! The other thing that always cracks me up is how people always go in person to have conversations that could easily happen by phone. In between the lunches/dinners/bar crawls, private conversations on company time (like at the hospital), meetings on the docks (why are there NEVER other people passing by?), and running around town to see people instead of calling them, how do any of these people do enough work to stay employed and actually earn a living?

I know, I know, a soap opera is hardly required to be realistic and that's why it's such a great diversion. But I still chuckle at just how unrealistic it can get sometimes.

So does anyone remember Brenda and Jason getting married a few years back? Did they get that anulled? And what's up? Is Brenda coming back to GH? Is Vanessa Marcil coming back or will it be recast? I have to admit that I LOVED Brenda Barrett. (I would kill for her looks -- she's beautiful) Anyhoo...my point is, does anyone think that Brenda will return to help Sonny deal with his mental problems since he put her in that state of mind once upon a time?!? I would love to see that twist!!!

Yes, they did get it annulled. Doubt that Vanessa will leave the lovely schedule she has with Vegas to do GH. She loves the work schedule since she has a kid now. I would think that they would have a hard time recasting Brenda and would only do so if absolutely necessary. That's not to say though that during a hiatus some summer, she might tape 1 or 2 shows here and there, especially now that Robin is back..maybe a Christmas visit or sumptin....

I read she wanted to come back for Lila's memorial service, but NBC wouldn't allow it. I am thinking as long as she is on Las Vegas she won't be guesting. Though I would love it if she did.

I just saw a commercial for one of the soap mags stating that Maurice Benard is leaving! Also that Tamara Braun is returning to GH!
What, have I entered the Twilight Zone? I can't believe no one is talking about it on this thread, what gives?
