Ahhh, too funny! I rarely see HIPAA mentioned on the boards! I am a Privacy Officer so I know that GH would be shut down on numerous violations!

LOL, ITA! I thought they had medical people on set to make it more realistic, but apparently they don't!

;)

I was so sad today with the way they just had Tony Die. I mean, Tony has been on GH for how many years now? Just yesterday (maybe Wed?) we find out he has the virus and today he dies. What a pathetic ending for the character.

ITA. I just watched Thursday's tape when he got sick and was shocked to see him die so quickly.

Brad Maule was always one of my faves. BTW, he has a small but recurring role on "Seventh Heaven" on the WB, Monday nights.

Allan, Monica and Bobby were with Tony and Lucas came into the room. Bobby asked him to leave and Tony begged him to stay. Monica and Allan told him to stop talking nonsense and told him he is the best Dr. ever.

After they left Tony told Lucas he loves and him and is happy with his choices. As he was talking Luke walked in. Tony than talked how greatful he was to be included in the Spencer family. (My goodness-remember this is making me cry). Luke than went and held his hand and got in his face and Tony told him to take care of Bobby. Luke told him he always has his sister back.

It just seemed strange to me that Luke held him and cried with him, but his own son just stood there. That was wierd. Then he talked to Bobby and told her about her being his beatiful bride and how happy he was marry her.

(Didn't Tony and Bobby have a huge falling out after BJ died-and when Carly came to town-she seduced Tony). Can anyone tell me if they ever made up, I thought they didn't like each other, or did the writers just sweep this one under the rug.

Right before Tony died he said BJ was there to take him and then he died. He was crying pretty hard-and it just made me cry even harder-and then he looked away and he calmed down and died. Bobby and asked Luke to give her a minute-and I missed what she said to him-but it was something about Marrying him.

Mike came down with the virus. Do you think they are going to let Mike die instead of Edward. Edward hasn't even been on the show lately.

OMG! I cant' believe I am addicted to GH again.............haven't watched since high school and they are bringing back all the "old characters" Dr Noah Drake was my favorite 20 years ago. This all started on my last trip to Disney in Nov, everyday 3pm was "rest" time, and my friend watched GH while I napped, but I never really napped, I was watching and have been hooked ever since. I actually ordered the new cable service so I could record it everyday. I cried watching Tony die, it was sad and believable, what isn't believable is the poor infection control....notice they never change their gloves and Emily(the whining little snot) goes back & forth between Sonny & Nicholas passing germs back & forth. Who do you think she will pick to live?

Emily(the whining little snot)

You do have a way with words LOL

I agree, I've been watching it with full interest since Noah came back, what a difference it is with the old timers and that they are using the hospital setting again.

I just can't stand her! (Emily) Probably because Nicholas & Sonny are my favorite characters. Nicholas is young, rich & handsome, and Sonny is rich and handsome and such a "bad" boy. I love them both, OMG ...I sound like Emily

Wow, I just watched Tony die (have dvr) and I cried! I haven't cried for a soap since I was hormonal and pregnant! And it went so quick. I'm disappointed that they made Tony die :sad2:

I cried and cried too. I would have loved to see a grown up BJ in soap angel light. Maybe with Maxi in the room too. I wish they had a Tony/Maxi goodbye scene just because of the BJ connection.

BJ's death is what dragged me into loving soaps.

I think Tony and Bobbi made up. She forgave Carly. Tony and Robin also had a long history and I would have liked to see her involved like Alan and Monica were.

I'm not sure i have that on video, do you remember when it was? I'll look for you.

Oops, major HIPPA violations there! ;) Regardless how massive the confusion, that's unlikely to happen.

Also, anybody else totally bugged by the music they're playing, over and over and over and OVER AD NAUSEUM???? I mean, the same 2-4 chords, like out of a cheesy, grade B movie! Puleeeeeze!!!

Gosh....wasn't it the 80's??? Remember when Luckey I think was living in a warehouse I think that may have had to do something with Sonny...and so that is how the rift started between Luke and Sonny when they used to be business partners and very close friends??? They had no idea that the fire was faked and that Helena had used it to kidnap Luckey. They thought it was a retaliation against Sonny. Luke said that if his business ever affected him, their partnership was over, and of course you can't get much affected than thinking Sonny got his son killed. Can any of you GH genius people help me out with dates??? Like I said I saw the Friday cliffhanger, but then everything I had set on the VCR that whole next week when I was out of town was LOST!!!!! :guilty:

Well....violations be darned it did happen. Lorenzo faked Skye's records for her to get the dose before Lulu, and Alan faked Dillon's records to get his dose sooner....alot of those things going around....Luke brandishing a gun saying Lulu gets the next dose..I mean that right there's GOTTA be a violation of sumptin somewhere huh???? :lmao:

I noticed the gloves thing too. Not to mention that Emily keeps wiping those germy gloves all over her face and mouth as she cries and whines. :sad2:

I REALLY hate to see Tony written out of the plot, especially by dying! Even though he wasn't in very many scenes, it was always great to see him around now and then. Seems like they killed him off awfully quick, compared with Lulu who went through delirium, non-responsiveness, convulsions, and still lasted long enough to get the serum.

I must admit that I always enjoy seeing Jason burst through a door with guns blazing. :duck:

Yes, Zanders Dad was the hospital psychologist ...Alexsis was a regular (surprise..surprise) with him. In fact I believe he was romantically interested in her.

Yes and he was becoming really good friends with Luke too. I really think it was a shame that they ditched his character, he really had a lot of potential. they kinda flirted with a relationship with him and Alexsis for awhile, that could have been interesting.

I remember the day Mac came to town..on the freighter that blew up in the harbor..and Robert punched him at the pier. You are quite right about Mac having the same heavy Austrailian accent.

OMG yes...that is so true, I remember now, the freighter was the SS Tracy!!! And it had some kind of toxic waste aboard it!!!..good times, good times... :rotfl2:

Think you mean Elizabeth pregnant with Ricks child don't you? Cameron's father was Emily's old boyfriend..and first husband Zander..whose father's name I believe was Cameron..the one who died in the hotel fire...thinking that his son was in the hotel, he went in..Zander lived and he didn't. Zander later was killed when the police were after him..he purposely made a move and the police fired at him..so it was sort of a suicide type thing. I think I'm remember this correctly. At some point Zander and Elizabeth "got together" right before she married Rick...and they found out the baby was Zander's and not Ricks. I think she left Rick after find out about the Carly incident(his holding her hostage). ...oh and suddenly a nurse. Funny how she breezed through nursing school...and gave up on the career as an artist!

You are ohhh sooo correcto!!!....I believe that Elizabeth went to the same nursing school as what's his name....uh....Jamie on AMC...became a doctor almost overnight as well...they all have a special school doncha know mahn(imagine jamaican accent)

I read in one of the soap maggie, SOD I think, that he (Brad) said they had fiddled around before a year or so ago about killing him off and then they didn't. He also said that as sad as he was, he was almost glad to be killed off, and indeed would prefer to be killed off rather than sit and languish year after year on the backburner. He also said that Phelps had called him at home and told him nicely what they had decided to do and did give him the heads up.

OMG...I don't want them to kill off Mike!!!...I love him, wish they would use him more. His old scenes with Sonny were great, and now that they have sorta made piece....no more scenes...I guess their making up was the death of them!!!...of course I have a fondness of the actor as well, since I have liked him from the days of Ryan's Hope!!

How on earth does little Michael keep escaping from Max the mobster bodyguard? Someone needs to chain that kid to chair.

Maybe we'll be lucky & he'll be the "young one" who gets killed off. That kid is soo annoying! I am surprised he hasn't caught the virus yet since he has been around the hospital more than most of the staff. I think he's used up his 9 lives already.

I too thought Tony's death was way to quick. Fine one minute, dead the next! I cried, but thought under the circumstances, the scene was for the most part well done.

I didn't realize the real Courtney is going to come back. I missed a few parts this week - is she going to have a C-section? Did Jax find her?

Who do you think Emily will choose to receive the serum??

Like many of you, I haven't been this hooked on GH in a LONG time - I don't have Tivo or DVR so I have been listening to it on the RADIO until I get home so I don't miss the first few minutes!!

Spoiler alert!!!

According to some spoilers I read, Courtney is going to be the other person to die. Jax will tell her before she dies that Nikolas is the father of the baby, a boy named John. Courtney will die before she has a chance to tell Nikolas. Jax will not tell Nik that he is the father. Carly offers to help Jax raise the baby. From the looks of the previews shown on Friday's show, Courtney will get the virus and then elect to deliver the baby early so the baby doesn't get the virus.

I am not a big courtney fan so that is ok with me and I am not really digging the new Carly either. Maybe i expect too much out of her. I think that it is great that they have brought back many of the old characters to spice things up. I would LOVE for them to bring Lucy back. She was a great character!!!

Oh yes--Lucy and Doc whatshisname the shrink! Those were good shows!
I don't like this Carly, either. She's too...too...mellow...sophisticated looking...I dunno.

Did any of you happen to be able to watch the soapnet special tonight. I really only watched the first GH one and it was wonderful almost a tribute to Tony although I don't know if they realized it or not when they set it up. It was wonderful to see Tony and Bobbby together, Luke and Laura, Lucy and Kevin and even Amy! I'd love to see Amy again.
