It's probably not that long for the guests..a mere 16 hrs. Where as for us it's been THREE WEEKS! Let's move on please. I was happy to have Allan out of the Metro Court(an ugly hotel if you ask me anyway..maybe that's really why they blow it up)...just so we could have some scenes away from this scenario. I always find this with GH..they have some great sweeps event..where they get the viewers to tune in..and then they shoot themselves in the foot by having it get just a too ridiculous. Either by the length of the event, or how JASON...can manage to infiltrate the disaster scene. Whether it be the Metro Court..the Train Wreck..where only he was in and out of the tunnel about half a dozen times, while trained emergency personel weren't able to get in there. Same with the metro court. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves, go outside talks to Mac..and then goes back in...and then brings a box of Godiva chocolates for Sam for Valentines Day...never one to foget a holiday!

Fact: Guza has won many, many battles over Frons.

For instance, Bob pushed for Sam and Ric to hook up. Frons didn't want it, but he relented.

Same with the upcoming Robin/Patrick storyline.

And With the Liz/Jason baby.

I could continue on.

Fact: Just because Frons loves something, doesn't mean it's here to stay. Frons LOVED Ric/Alexis. And look where they are now.

Brian Frons did love Ric/Alexis. Pratt had objections. Guza was on again/off agin when it came to the couple.

Guza and Frons are still at odds about 'endgame' for some frontburner couples but a compromise might be in the works.

Frons is very happy with the ratings increase with the S&C current story, such that he just may be willing to cave on Jason and Sam.

Guza will have to give up Carly/Jax but will get to tell his story of Jason evaluating his life and reconnecting with the mother of his only child. Of course with Guza giving up never comes easy and his writing will show it.

Watch all six characters in March to see who compromised on what.

Lucky leaves Elizabeth at the hospital, accepting that she'll never take him back. Luke visits Liz and the two share a nice moment. Luke mentions how Laura's forgiveness saved his life and thinks it will do the same for Lucky. Liz gives Lucky and answer to his marriage proposal....IT"S YES!!!

Liz tells Jason she has fallen back in love with Lucky. She asks Jason to keep the truth about her baby a secret and allow Lucky to raise it with her. She worries the secret will destroy Lucky if it ever came out. Jason lets Liz do whatever she thinks is best for the baby.

Lucky and Liz decide to move back into Laura's house. Liz is optimistic about her future with Lucky.

By the end of the week, Jason's decision to keep the secret affects him deeply (and lets Liz know so).

A source of mine just told me that the person playing Cooper is named Jason Gerhardt. He was the second choice for Logan, but the show liked him so much that they gave him a role of his own.

Monica braces the family for the worst. Tracy and Edward try to give Monica hope but it's futile. Emily's praying that Jason will be able to say goodbye to Alan doesn't work as he dies before Jason can get to the hospital.

Jason is pinged with regret and apologizes for not being able to give him what he wanted. Jason becomes "uncharacteristically emotional" (said as is) when he tells Alan he loves him. Alan's death hits Tracy hard. Skye tries to honor Alan's memory by checking up on Edward. Emily wants Jason to visit Edward and Monica more to honor Alan.

Jason struggles over his decision to keep the paternity secret. Tracy and Monica fight over Alan's funeral plans. Carly visit's the Q's offering to allow Micahel to attend the funeral. Jax helps Micahel deal with Alan's death.

Ned comes home and is affected by Alan's death. Jason regrets pushing Alan away and not allowing Alan to be apart of his life. Sam tries to help Jason through is pain, but he ends up more conflicted about the paternity secret.

I believe it's all about the money. They are going to pay him until August either way. Even if they write him nothing, and he sits on the Quartermaine couch all summer.They wouldn't let him go in August..in my experience the summer is REALLY SLOW...I don't think you'd get the viewership tuning in for the story..whatever the storyline would be to write him off. Viewers vacation and are away. It makes sense to do it now..since they were planning to let him go anyway.. as you mention, it ties into what's going on with Jason. Appears to me when they want to get rid of a long time higher paid cast member, they also use it to the shows advantage and do so during a sweeps period..like the one they have running now. Much the same way they gave old Tony Jones the boot! It wasn't like Tony went to work one day and was hit by a bus, or Allan just had a heart attack at work. They lure the viewers in (or some of us back) by finally providing an interesting high profile story for sweeps..and then kick an original, or long time cast member to the curb while doing so. I guess that's show biz..but I will miss Allan.

I don’t know what Sam and Elizabeth are discussing. Sam does tell Elizabeth she can’t have children, but I’m not sure if that’s the scene in the picture.

Thinking she’s opening her door to Sonny again, Carly blurts that one night of sex won’t change anything between them and is shocked to find Jax standing before her.
Jax gets an earful when Carly brings him up to speed about what he’s missed. Jax is very upset with the fact that Carly slept with Sonny. Jax is equally blindsided when Carly tells him she married Sonny. Jax would walk away from Carly but stops when Michael and Morgan race in.
Jax is having a difficult time forgiving Carly’s transgression.
Neither Jax nor Carly want to be hurt again as they navigate through their relationship issues.

Seeker3940: After reading SK's latest spoilers, some are worried about the state of some triangles. I feel it's more of a boost for the endgame couples. The latest spoilers seem to make you believe it's a permanant situation for now. I feel there's valuable pieces of the spoilers that are missing, and the breakdowns have some freaked out, when there's no need for it. Like so MANY other spoilers could have been released before the latest ones he posted, it gives people wrong impressions. Does that make sense? What are your thoughts?

This is asking me to speculate and if I did that there would be a hell of a lot less “I don’t know’s” in this thread.

What I will say is anybody banking on this sudden reunion between Elizabeth and Lucky, after she witnesses Jason and Sam’s close moment AND receives her guilt trip from Luke re: Laura’s forgiveness, is making a grave mistake. A rush to happiness and coupledom is never a good thing in Guza’s world. Assuming that the latest information is somehow an indication of permanent storyline direction is a bad idea.

I will go out on a limb here and say that Nikolas will be around, just not doing anything that requires him to be mentioned in breakdowns. I will say I would assume he’s supporting Emily. I have no doubt he will be onscreen. *

GH is warped that way. Sonny and the mob are heros and get off when they kill people and stuff. But ric's crimes make him scum of the earth forever. He does have a pint about that although keeping Carly in a room was over the top. However, she forgave Alcazar and married him, but hates Ric?

I don't mind the mob, but I wish there was a better way to meld them with the PCPD w/o making the police force look totally inept. I mean the swat team couldn't even hit that sniper in the window! They have Sam escaping and can't recapture her. I know she was set up and she is dumb, but obviously they are dumber.

I am all for some Ric/Skye scenes. I know Rick Hearst said he wanted to work with Robin Christopher.

GH is warped that way. Sonny and the mob are heros and get off when they kill people and stuff. But ric's crimes make him scum of the earth forever. He does have a pint about that although keeping Carly in a room was over the top. However, she forgave Alcazar and married him, but hates Ric?

I don't mind the mob, but I wish there was a better way to meld them with the PCPD w/o making the police force look totally inept. I mean the swat team couldn't even hit that sniper in the window! They have Sam escaping and can't recapture her. I know she was set up and she is dumb, but obviously they are dumber.

I hate hate hate that the show centers around the mob. Where is the romance???

The Metro Court is a hotel, right?

Where are all the people staying at the hotel while the hostage crisis is going on? I guess the writers didn't think about that!

The first episode or two after the hostages were taken, they showed Lucky and Cruz entering the restaurant via a back stairwell to evacuate it. Edward, Tracy, etc. were all still up there for the charity event. Lucky and Cruz explained that they were evacuating the hotel because of an incident in the lobby -- then everyone freaked out b/c they thought it was another fire (like in the old PC Hotel).

Presumably they evacuated the guests as well (although it is a stretch that no one came down from their rooms to the lobby in the meantime).

All I know is if I wanted to commit a crime, I would do it in Port Chuck. They make the police there look like idiots. Give me a break.

I'm thinking the hospital must be next store to the hotel which is right next store to Kelly's. People sure can move quick between them.

I can't believe Carly broke the code and the Jackel is going to open up the safe. The PCPD should hire them both.

I have been looking at other fan sites, and for some unknown reason, they all love Jason and Sam together. I could puke. They think Sam is the end all, be all. I hope the PTB don't read those.

Jason and Liz fans have been pinning away for 7 years. There are a lot of them out there. LOL! I have been a fan since Jason came back this last time and Frons tore them apart to prop Courtney then Sam. If Guza had his way Liason would have happened two years ago now. They are coming, but the ride won't be pretty. LOL!
