also try for the heck of it, use two phone lines and when you dial in, do one phone as you stayed over 4 times since 2000 something, then the other line do the oppsite (SP) and see if one is faster than the other......

...that the FD offer isn't posted yet on either the rewards or chase sites. It's 7:21 Central and I've been watching the booking updates on this thread.

To those that have completed their reservations Congratulations! and to those STILL on hold, somebody needs to pick up your calls already!

FD is outside of my travel dates, but I wish y'all good eating and a fat bank account with all that money you just saved!

Call back and ask for an ADR at Grand Floridian Cafe. 1900 PF is being refurbed until early October and the character meals are being held at GFC. Some CMs know about it and automatically check availability in the right place, others don't. I had the same problem when I made ADRs last week.

Does this mean if you are eating dinner at GFC, that you will have characters there??

Every time I hear a Little Mermaid song I think someone has picked up because it is so quiet! Then I freak out thinking i cannot hear them until a few seconds later when it gets louder!

I first called the 800 number and was on hold for about 30 min. Got a CM who told me I needed to be w/Grand Gatherings. She transferred me at around 7:30 EST and I was on hold for another 20+ min. I don't know if I ended up at the bottom of the line after my transfer or if my call got through quicker because I already sat on hold. My total call time including time making the ressie was about 1 hr and 15 min.

Yes. Breakfast and dinner will be held at GFC with characters, no lunch. I think it was Citricos that was taking up the slack of GFC, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu similar (in content and price) to GFC's normal menu.

1900 PF will be closed and the character meals at GFC will be pre plated, not buffet.
