that's cool, you are teaching the value of money/work in terms of a child. good logic. I just started a pt in add to my ft job. I tell everyone the pt is to help me get through my master's but really it is for Disney first then MBA.

Hahahah. The things we have to do to pay for our Disney fix! I know, I know. And yes I gotta teach him now, he's 8. But I don't want him thinkin Tinkerbell drops off free trips on mommy and daddys doorstep once a year. Hahaha

I think a lot of people go for the values; we did last year.(pop) we really weren't planning another trip(went in MAY) but couldn't pass up free dining. we could only justify going again by staying at a value. as far as mods go, pepper market at coronado springs gives you the BEST value with the dining plan. they are the most expensive food court, when you consider the 10% tip added, and their counter service meals are the most varied. you can get a steak, or prime rib, asian, mexican, meals almost as expensive as TS, just about as good, and they count for a CS.

I did that last year, got on weight watchers 3 months before to lose 15 pounds and I lost it all before the trip. It actually worked really well for me. There is an area on the dis where women who are doing weight loss challenges can go to motivate eachother, and for motivation. I found this to be a big help also. We went for like 2 weeks last year I only gained back 4 pounds. I lost it in the first like 8 - 9 days of being home.

Things are slowly being added when you try to book right now, there are these little red lines. The things that excite me at 2 minutes till midnite.

I might have to try that. I have lost 5 just with exercise and a slim-fast for breakfast. Once I book, I need to step it up a notch. Don't want to look like a whale in all of my disney photos

Don't be to hard on yourself. You can do it. And you will look fabulous in your photos from your disney trip. Funny, that was my big fear also, I just didn't want to look big in my pictures, I didn't want any of them to come out bad. I avoided all side view shots as well. I wanted to have only good pictures to match my good memories.

I wonder if they are gonna drag this out till the WDW travel co. opens at 7:00a.m. Eastern time. I heard thats what happened last year. It's 12:05 a.m. PST and there is little progress. (progress is the key word though)

yeah. last year's photos made me look pregnant which I wasn't. So my goal this year is not to look pregnant or maybe get pregnant, hold I, did I just say that. I don't want kids at least for 5 more years. I guess it is past my bedtime. Since I am scaring myself, I will bid you all adieu. Goodluck, God Bless, I will have to book in the morning!

I am just so excited, I need to go to bed, have to be up in 5 hours to get to work!!! Argh, work, this is so much more important!!!

It's not a matter of "IF" they announce it...I was meaning "IF" it's announced by the morning so we can start booking. As of now...12:16am PST it's not announced....who knows maybe they are waiting until 7am EST...Let's hope so.

well, i just found this post...here's to hoping...I'm west coast...so it'll be well past 7am eastern time when i get back on here...but i'm going to subscribe and read it as soon as possible...as well as book as soon as possible.

So what i gather then is that this could be booked online, right? At least in years past...

Well the disney website DOES have a special RED BOX on the right lower corner that says they have a DELECTABLE PROMO...

Unfortunately at 3am (east coast) clicking on the link does not take you anywhere YET....

HOWEVER when you do click and read the "address" that pops up it says
FREE DINE so it'll likely be up at 7am!

Not sure if this means anything or not - but earlier you couldn't go in and even get a quote for packages...but now it will give me a quote...no discounts, but the reservation system is working again (2:15am PST)
