I could be mistaken, but aren't emails from Disney Destinations for travel agents only?
Nope. You can sign up for that as well as other newsletters when you register at walt disney world.com.

We personally love the buses. Saves us money and during low crowds, you always can find a seat.
What is the kiss goodnight? Mentioned in post 893?

I have also received pin code emails from this email address:Sure. Here it is for anybody who is interested:
Disney Destinations <disney@email.visit.disneyparks.com>
The Kiss goodnight thing....does this happen every night at closing? How did you hear about it? I wonder how long it takes to empty the park at closing.

Are you guys planning on emailing this address and asking to be added to the list? Or what are you going to do with this?
I want to be on the list for sure, but I wasn't sure what to do?
yes, mine is still reading that!Just wondering if Disney Visa is still showing nothing available at this time. Mine is.

My main concern about the bus system is I am going with my mother and she needs to use an electric scooter... This is our first trip since 1978 (might as well be the first trip) I have read different posts on how its easy to use them on the bus and I have read other posts that make me worry that we may end up waiting extra long if a bus comes that doesn't have a lift or already has full capacity of wc/ecv. We do plan on using the bus even though we are driving down, because she is afraid we won't be able to put the scooter in the car by ourselves. I was thinking of using the bus to the parks but if we come back to the room before dinner, to drive to the restaurant. This mainly applys to our second nite when we are spliting between AK/MGM and both close early, we have reservations later for MayaGrill.
We've been coming to WDW with a DD using a wheelchair for a long time. We've stayed on site and used the bus system since CBR opened (I think in 1989).Most times when you are getting on a bus, everyone else is getting off. They will then load the ecv's first. Two per bus. I take my handicapped aunt and uncle, both in ecv's, every year, and have never had a problem...sometimes you may have to wait if there are already other ecv's in line ahead of you, but another bus comes along in 15-20 minutes. There is a disability board here as well if you want to check it out.
Good Luck
Instead of spending time trying to explain it all, I found a video of it on YouTube. It takes place at the Magic Kingdom nearly every night and it can vary anytime between half an hour after closing to a couple of hours after closing. And before anyone asks, it has NOTHING to do with the Wishes song that plays after Wishes is over.
When we saw it this past September, DH and I were two of only four guests left in the entire park (aside from CMs closing up). It was awesome!
Kiss Goodnight
Ok - my friend works at an ad agency for a major airline and they are putting together their flyer for free dining. She forwarded me the print and the dates are Aug 26 - Sep 22 with bookings by June 24th.
