that the FD is actually true and not just a rumor.I'm sure you will be able to do that.If I book a 10 day trip, and length of stay passes are required...will I be able to upgrade those to season passes when I get to WDW? Surely I would be able to do that!!!
You may want to try to get those extra 1 day tickets removed from your 2nd set of room keys so noone uses them by mistake. I had to do it at the resort last year (they couldn't do it at guest relations at a park) and the first person I asked didn't know how to do it but luckily someone overheard and knew how and did it for me.Thanks so much "lovesdumbo"!!!! Your are definatly right! I hope having 2 ressie won't be too much of a hassle. i.e. let us keep the same room etc
Thank You! Thank You!
I think the UK deal required length of stay passes.I don't think they will change the ticket requirement. The whole MYW theme is based on being able to pick the type of ticket that works best for your family.
I believe the limited dates (for the general public) is due to the success of the UK and bounce back programs.
It would definately make sense to stay at Pop with free dining. The dining plan can be a good deal even when you pay 38.99/day for it. So they would only be paying $5 for both of them(the difference between Pop and SoG).MY DH and I will be going to the BCV for our second DVC trip. We will be staying in a studio and have invited my son (soon home from Iraq) and his wife. She has never been to the worldWe are going September 9-16.
If they stay with us, that would certainly save them money on the room however they have only been married a year and have never taken a honeymoon. My son can stay at Shades of Green for $79 a night. They can get discounted park tickets, and they will have a car because they are driving from Little Rock. I was wondering if they stayed at a value resort and got free dining if that would be cheaper. They are trying to buy a home so we are looking for the best price! Can someone help me out?
So to get free dining, they would have to book a room and a ticket hopper?

I'm pretty sure they only allow a certain number of rooms with these deals at each resort at one time. Does anyone know how many rooms they would allow at POP at one time with a free dining offer? We haven't had a problem in the past, but these offers get more and more popular. Just wondering.

I don't understand how they can offer free dining and only have it limited to so many rooms at each resort. So from reading these boards everyone who has already made a reservation will get the free dining and the people calling to make new reservations may be squeezed out. I never used the free dining since I have not gone to the World during this time. We are planning a trip for the end of September and hoping for the free dining. I just checked my Disney Visa account and it says that there are currently no offers but nothing else on the page. The other day I had different options to look at. I wonder if they are getting ready to announce something. After reading this board and some of the others (that I will not mention) you wonder what the truth is.......Free dining or not.......who will be the first to know or post? I made my reservations but need to make the deposit. I keep holding out until I hear something. But my TA from dreams unlimited said she would apply free dining to my reservation if it comes out. Can she do that after I have paid the deposit on my existing reservation? Maybe I am not making sense but its early and I had a late night....![]()

Another question...I still have one day base tickets from last year. I had a season pass last year and didn't need to use them. Now I'm buying ANOTHER base ticket (1 day) for everyone in my family of 5. Is it possible that I could use BOTH 1 day base tickets to upgrade to a season pass? It sure would be nice to get 130-140 dollars off each pass. All of this and free dining...Am I asking too much? lol.![]()

I don't think it's a given that if you have an exisiting reservation, you can autmatically apply the FD code to any reservation. (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). From my experience, the FD code (and other codes) are put out to fill up available rooms. Just because you have a standard booked at WL, for instance, doesn't necassarily mean the code will be available that room.
Am I missing something?![]()

Ok, I have been watching this thread for a while and have some questions:
First, I keep hearing about people only buying 1 day passes with their package. Are they just going to the World 1 day? Or are they buying the rest of the passes somewhere else to save a little $$? Confused.
Next, since there probablly won't be other discounts at the time, is it better to book with a TA or directly with Disney? Is there a difference? Does it really matter?
Has anyone ever seen a WDW offer come out in the middle of the day? I know that we were all hoping to get up this morning and see an offer on Mousesavers or Disney Visa Offer website, but could an offer come out maybe after lunch or so? Just wondering if anyone has ever seen this happen before?![]()
