***The Official February 2016 Thread!***

My BF and I are taking our first trip without our DHs and kids. We are booked from 2/1-2/5 at POFQ (this is her first time staying here) and we are both total Disney freaks. This has been a year of total YUCK for my BF so we both decided that she needs to go to her "Happy Place" to just get away, and of course she would need a travel companion, so I get to go with her . Her kids are grown adults so they don't care too much if they go or not and her DH is not a huge fan of WDW. I kind of feel bad leaving my family because they are huge fans of the Mouse as well, but DD14 is starting high school this year, so it will be really hard to take her out then, and as for DD12...well, let's just say that if DD14 ever found out I took her sister with out her, WWIII would arise in my household. So being the awesome DH that I am married to, he insisted that I go with my friend and the rest of them will be just fine. I have already made our ADRs and got everything that we wanted for the times that we wanted too, including a breakfast, lunch, and Dinner at BOG (we both love love love this restaurant and are huge fans of B&TB). We are so excited for this trip to come...my BF really needs it .

That's so awesome! I went with my best friend and our moms 10 years ago and as much as I love going with my husband, I am dying to go with my best friend again! You're going to have a blast and I hope it cheers her up

Booked for 6 night stay the week after. Funny you have three meals at BOG...My 180 day window is at 5am tomorrow morning. I planned for BOG dinner and breakfast but maybe will add lunch as well. Our family loves BOG, the theming, the food, Belle and the Beast... Have a great time!!

Just booked Feb 15-20, have a cruise leaving out of FLL on 2/21 (Princess), and airfare was looking nasty flying into FLL- so the logical thing to save $100 per ticket is to fly into Orlando 6 days early and go to Disney right?? "Sheesh..of course" you all answer!!

My friend will come along with me and my three kids and hubby will meet us on the last day and then rent a car and drive with us to FLL.

Right now I have 4 nights booked at POR- royal room and 1 night at AKL in a Savannah bunk bed. I tend to be a slight resort changer so who knows!!!

That's great! I had no trouble at all with ressies either, will be there same time. My list includes BOG breakfast and dinner, 1900 PF, CM, CRT, and 50's PT. Have a great time!

Just thought I throw this out there but just curious if anyone noticed but every time I am looking at schedules for Fantasmic, it keeps on saying it is dark for the entire month. Anyone heard or read differently at all? I know it is early just thought I ask.

Wondering the same..rumors of refurbs or closings at HS after Jan have been circulating. We usually do the F! Dinner Package every trip

Yeah gotta wonder if fantasmic will be down entire month of February. If so, my plans will drastically change. No reason to spend more then 4 hours in that park. I wonder if I should call and try and get the fantasmic dinner package and see what they say.

We - DH & I - are booked 2/8-18 with a split stay between POFQ and Beach Club Villas. You can walk to Epcot from BCV, which we hope will be fun.

In October 2014, there was a heat wave! The parks were more crowded than we expected but not like peak times.

We were at WDW in January a few years ago and it was wonderful. Hoping for the same for this coming February.

Hi Everybody! I'm headed out there from 1/31-2/6 to celebrate my birthday! I'm very excited, as I'll be staying at my first Deluxe resort. I'll be staying at the WL for the week but now getting a little nervous about the construction. May move my reservation over to the Beach Club. But as of right now I'm at the WL, Deluxe DP. I got a great deal on my flight so that's all booked up, and I've got all of my ADR's pretty much nailed down. Now I'm just playing the waiting game.

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge twice before and really enjoyed it. Very home feeling and very relaxed atmosphere. I always loved taking advantage of the boat ride to MK. Beach club looks really nice too but have never stayed there. See if you can get some type of discount because of the construction, you never know. Deluxe DP you say. You will have to let me know which restaurants you have booked for all those. Would love to hear some of your adr's if you don't mind. My first I am eating at Via Napoli. So excited, have never eaten there before.

I wanted to stay at POR again this trip, but since I've been to both POR and POFQ, I thought I'd switch it up a bit. I've never actually even stepped foot into the WL, so I'm pretty excited about it. I'll try having my TA call about a discount. I read earlier today that they are offering WL guests a $100 discount per night... so I'll definitely look into that.

And as of right now I've got my dining cut to this:

Ohana,Tutto Italia, Tusker House, Yak & Yeti,Jiko, Beaches & Cream, Yachtsman, BOG, CA Grill, Chefs de France, Narcoossee's, Akershus, Biergarten and Via Napoli. It'll be my first time eating there as well! What else are you planning?
