*The OFFICIAL February 2012 Thread!*

Just started dining reviews from our trip:

We just came back today and had a wonderful, relaxing time. We focused a lot more on street performers and exhibits than rides this time. Weather was overcast one day but otherwise warm and gorgeous. A few tour groups and dance competitions contributed to crowds, but behavior was fine. With the discounts and post-holiday gray skies in the Ohio Valley, this time of year just rose to the top of the list for a visit to the World!

Anyone know the fastest/easiest way to get from all star movies to the Grand Floridian?

Starting from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort:

Car directly to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Estimated Time: 16 minutes 0 0

Bus to Magic Kingdom® Park Transfer to Monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Estimated Time: 50 minutes 0 0

Bus to Magic Kingdom® Park Transfer to Boat to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Estimated Time: 46 minutes 0 0

Bus to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park Transfer to Bus to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Estimated Time: 42 minutes

Our trip is only 2 weeks away! Just a fair warning though, every time my DDad and I are going to WDW together (with or without other people), either an Alberta clipper or some freak cold front comes through and temps don't get higher than the low-mid 60s.

So if you plan on being at WDW anytime Feb 24 - Mar 2, you've been warned!!!
;)

This past weekend we all had that nasty stomach bug, it was awful. Well, now it (or something JUST like it) is coming around again. I'm seriously thinking of taking my kids out of school tomorrow...ughhhhhhh!!!! If I hadn't missed 2 days of work last week I would do it in a heartbeat!

We're trying to get over colds .... but no stinkin' cold's going to slow us down!

One week from now we will be on the plane to Miami, hopefully having left on time around 7 a.m. Our flight from there to Orlando should get us in just before 3 p.m. Can't wait!!!

Round 2 of the stomach bug was worse than the first round for us. Hope your family manages to avoid it before/during the trip! Good luck!

I can't believe it's finally here!!!! We leave in about 15 hours! :goodvibes

WOW,, it sounds like we're all dealing with some kind of ailment,, UGH!
Hopefully the Florida tempatures, and sunshine will do us all a WORLD of good!
It sure sounds like we all need it!

I am feeling a little better today, but not as good as I would like to be with less than 48 before my arrival...

Oh well,, thats still 48 hours to get better, right! :thumbsup2

Nesser, I have a question and I'm not sure if you would have an answer or could direct me to someone who might. There is a boy from my hometown who is 13 and has a brain tumor. He has finished chemo and next will be going thru radiation. I'm going to make a sign for him and see if I can have a picture of a bunch the characters holding the sign. Do you think this is something that I can have guest services help me with or would it be something I'd have to try to do on my own (getting more of individual pictures)? I know this may be out of your realm of expertise, but any info would be helpful, thanks!

Awww, what a neat idea... Why don't you give guest relations a buzz, and just ask?
They may even have a little pixiedust: disney magic for you if they have advance notice. It never hurts to ask! ;)

Just got a terrible shock went to do online checkin with the airline and found that although my hubby and dd had tickets I do not! We are on the phone trying to find out what has gone wrong.

Oh no! At least you found out before you got to the airport, but that is horrible. I hope they figure out what happened and get you a ticket quickly so you can go back to being excited :goodvibes
