We are all sick Well, DH isn't- but he never gets sick (and when he does its super sick). Though I feel like garbage I can't help but smile- because at least its now and not right before/during our trip

Got my magic express stuff yesterday! 19 days...... so much to do... do littke time.....

Got a question though... what if you have more than 1 bag per person (flying sw so its noot a cost thing) for magic express... only got 1 yellow tag per person....... also what other mail do you get... we will ne turning our room only into a package on Friday.... so will there be enough time to get new mail?

oh, so you should be getting 2 mailings then? one for the room only and one for the package? We're in the same boat and since this is our first trip I have no idea what I should be getting in the mail.

I AM SO EXCITED!!! 20 DAYS TO GO!!!
FEBRUARY 6-11, 2011 FOR MY 40TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Feb 6-no ressies
Feb 7-Biergarten at 1pm
Feb 8-I DON'T KNOW-my husband has something up his sleeve.
Feb 9-5pm couples massage and 7:30 at the Chef's in France(followed by some cocktails with my husband(we never get to do this)
Feb 10-MY BIRTHDAY-7:30am Birthday Breakfast at Cape May's followed by 9am at Periwigs for myself
Feb 11- TUSKER HOUSE at 8 am FINALLY It has taken forever to get this one.

isn't it exciting? this is our kids first trip too. Me and DH have been, but not in probably 15 years! Let's see........ we went to HS and Universal back in 1999 but haven't been to the other parks since around 1995. So it's practically like our first time since it's been so long!

My hubby hasn't been since he went to college in Florida 30 years ago. I've never been. My oldest has been twice with her grandmother and my youngest son has been once with his grandmother. My 16yo and 8yo have never been.

We are counting down the days here!!

I tried to get extra tags, because we are flying SW too. I was told Disney's policy is to only handle one bag per guest. So, no extra tags.

We are taking our girls back to disney next month...spur of the moment trip...we have friends who have been booked for like 6 months already...so we tossed around the idea of going too and booked last week...got a really good deal...i had a pin code attached to my name...super excited that we are staying at not one but 2 mods...have never stayed at anything but a value...so this trip has got us super stoked!!! and the fact that we are vacationing with our friends...woo hoo!!!!

Welcome to all the new folks! Can't believe how close it's getting. A mere 26 more sleeps for us -- it'll be here before I know it! Packed a bunch of stuff tonight, things I don't need between now and then. Now I'm working on Happy Birthday signs for my son to put in the magnetic sleeves I have that'll stick to the resort door. Found my glowsticks, my Magical Moments pins, my Minnie hat, I am READY!!

My DD12 was in a wheelchair for 2 trips to WDW last year. We went to the host/hostess at the beginning of the ride and they directed us to the location we had to go for handicap. Since She could walk a little they would slow the ride down for her. We went to the front via the back entrance 90% of the time. usually there was not more than a 10 minute wait.

IF you are driving to the park(which we did b/c it was easier for her and free b/c we are dvc) Tell the 1st and 2nd attendants you are in a wheelchair. We got a parking spot right up front and we did not have a handicap placard. She walked with her crutches the short distance then transferred to a wheelchair. Some of the parks will keep your crutches for you,some won't.

Also I bought wheelchair passes for the time we were there. It was cheaper to buy 5 days than one day at a time. Each day I took the pass, it was stamped and we got a wheelchair.

Almost everyone was helpful and friendly. There were several park guests that were rude to us but that is bound to happen.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I was worried about parking since I don't have a handicap placard.

DLB - We have decided to use an ECV as well. I don't usually use a wheel chair and I am a little nervous about driving it around in a crowd.

Today will be a major packing day I am hoping.

I ran to target last night and found a shoe organizer (to keep all your toiletries and stuff in one organized space) for $2.50! They also had glow sticks (15 in a pack) for $1.00. Also purchased some princess and minnie mickey window clings to decorate with

so sorry to hear your little one is sick never fun but at least she will a little time to get better beforet he big trip.

Have fun packing- not starting yet still to far out but I can't wait to shed all these layers of winter clothes for layers of light weight clothes.
