I am so excited to be celebrating my birthday at WDW. We are staying at Poly for the first time. I am really looking forward to Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party on the 11th. What a magical way to celebrate. See you there!

ETA: Sorry, after I posted I realized Sci-Fi Diner is FS, not Counter Service. According to the UG the following are Good:

Yorkshire County Fish Shop: fish & chips
ABC Commissary: Burgers, nuggets, wraps, etc.
Starring Rolls Cafe: Sandwiches & salads
Studio catering: Pulled pork, chicken, hot dogs, wraps, salads
Toluca Legs: Turkey legs & hot dogs


Everything else was rated "Fair"

Yorkshire County is in Epcot... and an absolute not-miss for us! DHS, unfortunately, is well known for having really awful CS choices. I would RUN the other direction from ABC Commissary, unless you're having that new surf-n-turf burger. Everything else gets just horrid reviews, and my own personal experience is no different. We gave up eating at DHS except for 50's Prime Time.

For DHS counterservice- what about pizza planet for the kids? The pizza isnt that great from what I heard- but if your kids are big Toy Story fans they would love it! If not- Starring Roles serves JUMBO sandwiches, chips, drinks and amazing bakery

Confession- While I was doing more ahem--- planning it hit me- DUH why would I choose the non fantasmic day at DHS as my half day and my fantasmic day as my full day? That makes no sense does it? My new plans are- Friday Feb 4 DHS all day, Wed Feb 9- morning at DTD (less crowded than at night right?) then afternoon at DHS for fantasmic dinner and show. This still seems a bit backwards to me- I am use to going to DTD at night, and parks in the morning- so reversing it is hard for me to handle

Also- you are the only people I would tell all that to- because even my DH would think I was insane

Great plan Allison! I think that makes more sense as well. We did DTD in the afternoon last trip and I was actually great! It is a whole different place during the day! We are also going to "try" to get to the boardwalk this trip!

We started the t-shirt project but only got through my DD's shirt so far! It was very easy to do and came out great! I will try to post pics tomorrow! I think this is a project for older kids not so much my 5 year old. He just wanted to squirt the bleach everywhere! (ahhhhhhh)

I just made a countdown calendar for DD. Starting tomorrow, 28 days left! She will put a sticker as every day goes by, to give her a better idea of how much time is left

That's great!! I gave up on Le Cellier. I tried every day for over a month with no luck. But I'm still happy with Teppan Edo!!

We arrive at MCO around 1:30pm so by the time we get to Epcot it could easily be 3-4pm. We have an ADR at 5PM at Teppan Edo. Otherwise we have no real plan, except Illuminations of course Will you be watching? Maybe we can meet up for that? I have a few spots marked on my map after researching the DIS re: good spots to watch.

I'm closely monitoring the weather in Orlando and it looks like they have some super hot/humid days on the way! Which means (hopefully) that the weather will warm up a bit for our trips!!

What a crazy night last night - DH almost decided to do the two sit down dinner plan. What are your thoughts on that plan? At first he didn't want to do any dinner plan, know he want to upgrade. He started looking at all the great TS restraunts. He tried to talk me out of the character meals no way I like my character meals.

Can't believe we are at a month, so much more to do and so little time. It's a good thing that I hate house cleaning and would rather Dis or scrap.

My favorite spot is right by the Margarita stand in Mexico - although perhaps that has more to do with the Margaritas then the show..hmmmm

Our dinner is at 7:30.... it will be me, dh and dd 4...... you have kids right? I think they looked similar in age...
