The *Official* February 2011 Thread - Happy Dance Time...The Park Hours Are Out!

Gina- do you think we should be out at the bus stop around 7am? will that give us enough time to get to MK? Should I expect a large amount of people at the bus stop that morning/that early?

I would plan to be at the gate by 7:20-ish, 7:30 at the latest, if EMH starts at 8. It takes about 12 minutes to get from Pop to MK, and figure about 10-15 minutes wait time for a bus, so I would be at the bus stop no later than maybe 6:45 just to be safe. Well, I would aim for 6:45 and probably get there closer to 7, but that's how my life usually goes. Soooo not a morning person!!

But if you were in line for a bus by 7, you should be fine.

I bought a little bag of self-adhesive pin backs in the craft section of Walmart, and they work great!

Can anyone post a picture of what you did with your LGMH?? I have some but am so not creative I would like to keep one on me during my trip, especially since I will be wondering by myself for 2 out of my 4 days. Sorta on the fence about me wondering by myself, but am actually kinda excited to do so. Would love to meet up with fellow disers

We're staying at POFQ for the first time, we've stayed at Wilderness Lodge, POP, and Swan/Dolphin before but never a moderate! Looking forward to it! Any advice on room requests when I do online checkin?? Thanks!!

wow, 15 nts! I hate that we're only going for 8 nts. I feel like that's not long enough. Our only option for staying any longer would be to add days during Presidents Day Week/Feb. vacation and there is no way in heck I want to do that, lol.

I plan on gluing it to a piece of cardstock, double taping it to "laminate" it and then put a key ring through it and hang it off my bag

On a side note, if you see someone with a LGMH, what do you plan on doing? I'm kinda shy so I can't picture myself just walking up to a stranger to say "Hi nice mickey head"

Just found this thread. Myself, dh, and dd3 are heading for our FIRST trip ever Jan 29- Feb 5. We are staying at Pop. It is getting so close so I am starting to get super nervous that I haven't planned enough. Here is the plans I made so please let me know what you think:

I just honestly feel under a bit of pressure to make this go off without a hitch. Hopefully I can start to destress and just learn to go with it. that's funny, we have almost the exact same itinerary although different dates, but we're doing AK - Tusker House on our first day, Epcot & Askherus on our 2nd day, MK and CRT on our 3rd day, HS on our 4th day (but we're doing Playhouse Disney for lunch - I bet your 3 year old would like that?), and then we're going back to MK a 2nd time on our 5th day. It's also our first trip (tho me & DH were there years ago) so I want everything to be perfect.
